99: Am I Being Teased by Women?

Eirik wanted to resist, but his strength was far too weak. Even with his memories from his past life, he couldn’t make much of a difference.

Moreover, during the previous simulation game, Pixie had reached the Grandmaster level using the Forgotten Grimoire, gaining Grandmaster-level memories and power. Right now, he was no match for her.

Of course, if he used the magic tools gifted by the system, he could still win. But he couldn't use them—if he did, it would expose him as a player.

Seeing Eirik being taken away by Pixie and the others, trapped in a sack, Violanda’s fury flared up. Unfortunately, Elvynna was about her level, so Violanda was forced to watch helplessly as Eirik was stolen away.

But the Shard of Rebirth that Elvynna wielded had a limited duration. Her strength gradually began to wane, and she knew she couldn’t hold on much longer. Realizing she wasn’t going to win, Elvynna turned and fled.

Violanda, still thinking of Eirik, didn’t chase Elvynna but instead immediately pursued Pixie and the others in the direction they had gone.

At that moment, Selene, piloting the magic carpet, accelerated madly to the northeast, following the plan Elvynna had outlined earlier.

“Put my husband down!”

Violanda cried, catching up quickly. She fired a massive magic attack at the carpet.

The enormous magical force condensed into a giant mountain of energy, hurtling toward the carpet.

Boom!

The magic carpet was instantly covered with layers of transparent shields. Violanda’s magic shattered layer after layer, but with each shield that broke, another quickly regenerated.

The carpet shook violently, tossing the occupants inside, leaving them feeling dizzy, but it held firm.

"Damn it, to break through this magic shield and rescue my dear Eirik, it’s going to take quite a while..." Violanda’s face darkened in frustration.

"This is such a hassle."

"Haha, perfect! She can't get in. No wonder senpai said we could waste Violanda's magic tools like this!"

Pixie exclaimed with glee.

She even removed the sack from Eirik’s head, then playfully pinched his chin with her pretty fingers.

“Wow, what a handsome young man. I really like you!” she teased, adopting the tone of a bully.

Eirik nearly laughed out loud, barely keeping it in.

"Are you serious? You’re still trying to flirt with me while we’re in this situation?"

“Can I touch him? I want to try too.”

Liora, who was usually so gentle, couldn’t hold back, gingerly approached, and cupped Eirik’s face, starting to knead it like dough.

"Hey, what are you doing? This is too much! Why am I not included?" Selene’s deep voice rang out, filled with mock indignation.

Just as she spoke, the magic carpet shuddered violently again, nearly tearing apart from the impact of another magic attack from Violanda.

The magic energy stored in the carpet was being drained rapidly.

"Master, can you focus on steering this thing? That last hit was a mistake. You didn’t need to waste so much magic on it," Liora chided, her voice laced with concern. "If you keep this up, the principal’s stored magic will be gone in minutes."

The magic carpet’s defensive magic was costing an enormous amount of energy. Fortunately, there was still a large store of magic inside, enough to keep going for now.

"I..." Selene felt embarrassed. "Is this my fault? You guys didn’t let me tease Eirik, so what was I supposed to do?"

"Did I fall into a den of female bandits?" Eirik thought, feeling utterly speechless.

“Isn’t the principal’s stored magic being exhausted? Don’t we care if he comes after us for it?” Pixie suddenly wondered aloud, a look of guilt crossing her face.

“Hmph, we’re being clever. That guy won’t find us,” Pixie scoffed.

“Besides, I found out during the simulation game that the principal accepted the Elemental Stone from the Crimson Frost Duke and secretly assisted the Duke's evil plans. He’s no saint. If we use his magic, we use it.”

“I’ve been through many life simulations with my master, so I’ve learned a thing or two,” Liora added casually, her tiny hands now running through Eirik's hair.

Fortunately, the magic shields around the carpet kept the scene hidden from Violanda.

If she had seen them messing with him, she’d have exploded.

The romantic trip she had planned with her husband was already ruined, and now they were teasing him further?

"This magic carpet’s defense isn’t much," Violanda muttered to herself, after several failed attempts to break through. "Within three hours, I’ll tear it apart."

An hour had already passed. With three more hours of attacking, Violanda would still have two hours left to enjoy time with Eirik.

Two hours... that should be enough time for certain activities, right?

But Violanda knew she couldn’t get too optimistic. Elvynna and her group might still have some tricks up their sleeves.

“Are they flying toward the Demon Realm’s Forbidden Zone?” Violanda realized, sensing a shift in their direction.

"Wait... this isn’t just the Reincarnation Sea. They’re heading to the ancient tomb by its shores."

In one of the life simulation games, Eirik and Elvynna had hidden there for thousands of years, raising nine children.

Elvynna was the most familiar with this place, while the other girls had searched for it in vain.

Now Violanda understood Elvynna’s plan. If they made it to that ancient tomb, Violanda would never find them again. She had to stop them before they reached it.

Though Elvynna wasn’t currently on the magic carpet, she had to be using some other magic tool, flying toward them as well.

"Damn it!" Violanda’s face hardened.

She had underestimated Elvynna and the others.

Elvynna’s memories of the universe’s greatest beings and all the magical tools she possessed couldn’t be ignored.

If they reached that ancient tomb, Violanda would never stand a chance.

"I can't waste time on this carpet anymore. I need to find Elvynna first," Violanda decided. "The entrance to the tomb must be hidden behind a special magic circle, and without Elvynna, they won’t be able to get in."

Having realized the key, Violanda formed a series of magic seals. Hundreds of crows made of magical energy suddenly took flight, trailing behind the magic carpet. This was to ensure she didn’t lose track of Eirik.

Meanwhile, she dove toward the ground, her senses spreading out like ripples in the water, desperately searching for the group.

"Wait... did Rejection Hound Vio leave? No... Elvynna’s plan has probably been exposed!" Pixie exclaimed, her tone filled with realization.

The playful atmosphere inside the carpet shifted instantly, tension settling in.

“We can’t help her now. Let’s head to the rendezvous point,” Pixie said, her voice pragmatic. They might have the carpet’s defense, but they were far too weak to affect Violanda in any way.

On the other side, an hour later, in a vast forest, Elvynna was using an acceleration tool to sprint through the trees, her elegant figure flowing like a gust of wind.

But soon, her expression hardened. She had spotted something ahead.

“There you are!”

Violanda’s voice rang out, filled with fury. No more words were needed—magic cascaded toward Elvynna in brilliant flashes!
