The rush of elemental energy coursing through Violetta was nothing short of electrifying. She clung tightly to Eirik’s arm, her eyes wide with exhilaration, clearly reveling in the sensation.
“...”
Elvynna shot a sharp glare at her, her cheeks flushed with a mix of irritation and confusion.
For a long moment, she couldn’t shake the unsettling thought that the alchemist’s expression was just a little too suggestive.
Sure, feeling the flow of magical power was one thing, but the way Violetta looked right now—eyes closed, a soft smile on her lips—made it seem as though she was in the throes of something far more intimate. What the hell was going on?! Was this woman really trying to steal my husband’s attention?!
Calm down, calm down. Don’t let her get to me. Focus on my magic recovery—don’t fall for this trap! Elvynna repeated the mantra in her mind, taking deep breaths to steady her nerves.
The day passed in a blur, and their hard work was beginning to bear fruit.
Elvynna had reached Stalwart Lv5, while Violetta had already advanced to Stalwart Lv6!
“Now we can check out the wreckage of the plane!” the two girls exchanged gleaming looks, their hearts pounding with excitement.
“Let’s grab a bite first, then head out,” Eirik suggested, pulling out some wild fruits he had gathered near their cave, along with a small rabbit he’d hunted.
Thanks to his time spent training with Violetta and the others, Eirik had improved his own strength. Though not at their level, he was now Stalwart Lv2. That meant he could handle himself and gather food without too much trouble.
“Ha! This recovery feels amazing! I’m already at Stalwart Lv1, can you believe it?!” A voice piped up in the world channel, brimming with excitement.
Seizing the opportunity, Violetta, who usually preferred staying quiet in the background, opened the world channel as a matter of habit.
“Did anyone else notice? The elemental springs here are way better than those in the Dawnstar Dynasty!”
The mention of higher-quality elemental power piqued Violetta’s interest.
The elemental power in this world were clearly more potent, likely the reason for their rapid progress.
The elemental energy in this world is rare, but its quality is even higher.
As she thought this, she realized her glasses had become a nuisance. With a flick of her wrist, she tossed them aside. Now at Stalwart Lv6, her vision had sharpened, and her nearsightedness was completely gone. The broken lenses were useless.
“Definitely! I can feel it too. The quality of the elemental energy here is off the charts. No wonder I leveled up to Stalwart Lv2 so quickly!” another voice responded eagerly.

“Stalwart Lv2?!” A wave of disbelief rippled through the group.
Stalwart Lv2? That meant they could actually stand up to the serpent-like vines in the forest. This was huge!
“Not to brag, but Fennec is already at Stalwart Lv3. She’s like some kind of mystery!” someone added, awe in their voice.
“Long live Fennec!” a chorus of cheers rang out.
“Ha! Ladies, this is just the beginning. We’re only getting stronger! Together, we’re unstoppable!” Fennec’s confident voice rang out, a fierce energy radiating from her.
But just as the conversation was heating up, a sharp voice cut through the excitement.
“Has anyone seen my husband? Our exploration team is heading to the forest, and I need to know where Eirik is!”
Pixie’s voice was tight with irritation.
Forget the elemental springs, where the hell was Eirik?!
Even if he wasn’t exactly the strongest player in this scenario, he was still her husband.
“Yesterday, a huge group went to the beach and almost drowned in the tide. They didn’t find anything.”
“Not sure if that guy’s even alive anymore,” someone else scoffed.
“People have different fates in different worlds. Even if Eirik is a top-tier card in the magical realm, he’s not escaping an early death here.”
Another voice sighed dramatically.
“Pip, I’ve heard about you. Stop being so love-struck. Come with me, and I’ll show you a real good time!”
Fennec’s voice cut through the chatter, direct and unbothered.
Ha! As if I’d go anywhere with you. I’m sticking with my beloved Eirik. That’s way better than anything you could offer!
“Thanks, but I’m not interested in this instance. I just want to find my husband. And honestly, it’s getting a bit annoying how you keep trying to recruit people. Just make sure, during the next mainline simulation, you don’t come after Eirik!” Pixie snapped back with a smirk.
???
Fennec blinked, taken aback by the coldness in Pixie’s tone.
Was she always like this? Something felt off.
She felt a twinge of discomfort but shook it off.
“Ha! I thought Fennec was something special, Stalwart Lv3...” Elvynna chuckled as she watched the chat unfold.
She and Violetta had already reached Stalwart Lv5 and Lv6. They were preparing to take on the source of those vine monsters and fight for a better standard of living. Meanwhile, Fennec and her group were still messing around at the forest’s edge, bickering over petty vines. Pathetic.
“Boring. What a bunch of useless fools. And they actually dare call me a Rejection Hound? The nerve!” Violetta muttered, smirking as she closed the chat window.
No more wasting time. She and Elvynna grabbed Eirik and headed straight toward the heart of the forest, where the wreckage of the plane awaited.
The closer they got to the wreck, the more aggressive the foliage became. Hidden vines grew sharper, moving faster, and more dangerously.
But Elvynna and Violetta were more than ready. They sliced through the opposition effortlessly, not a scratch on them.
Eirik felt like he was on vacation, walking behind them with ease.
Soon, they reached the center of the forest, where a towering ancient tree stood. Half a plane’s cabin was leaning against it, and even days later, a burnt stench still lingered in the air.
The plane was clearly wrecked beyond recognition, but supplies were scattered around the site.
The group approached cautiously, with Violetta and Elvynna keeping a lookout while Eirik bent down to examine the goods.
“Beer, snacks, cosmetics... wait, there’s even a gaming console?!”
Their luck was incredible. The cargo area had barely been damaged in the disaster. Eirik even found a small diesel generator and a large box of fuel.
With all this, their quality of life was about to improve dramatically.
No more worrying about the rating. It was going to be smooth sailing from here on out!
But then, a shrill, bone-chilling roar shattered the moment.
Eirik spun around to see a twisted, monstrous face emerging from the massive tree trunk. Its mouth opened, releasing a horrifying scream.
If anyone looked closely, they would see that the face was made of countless green, thorny vines!
No doubt about it, this was the true form of a vine monster.
“Damn beast. You’re dead,” Violetta said flatly, her expression unmoving.
Without a second thought, she began casting spells, and Elvynna was right behind her, ready to strike!
