Chapter 42 - The Journey Has Begun

After everyone was healthy and ready for the adventure, they exited the room.

Outside, there were still many people celebrating the grand feast for their victory.

"Hmm, it seems they still haven't finished the party..." Gabriel said with an annoyed expression, being forced by Sylphy and the others to carry Thomas on his arm.

While waving their hands, they left the tavern, beginning their journey as they were shouted at as "champions" and "heroes" by the surrounding villagers.

Finally, they exited the village, began their journey in the wild.

Kaizoku noticed Hizo's pensive expression and asked. "Hizo? Are you alright? I hope you can get your grandfather back and return to the village safely."

Hearing Kaizoku's words, Hizo could only smile and respond softly, "Of course... I'm not used to leaving the village, especially when Thomas was in power."

"Anyone who left the village without permission would be immediately taken away and imprisoned. So, I'll take this opportunity to adventure outside the village when I can."

"I couldn't have done it without you all, I'm deeply indebted..." Hizo said, still with a small smile.

Walking backward, Gabriel turned his body with confident smile. "Oh, don't worry, we won't collect on your debt. I just need to complete this quest, and then we're done."

Sylphy replied with an annoyed expression. "Tch, quest maniac. You know how many quests you still haven't finished, right? I asked you to help Kaizoku, help Eve, and now you going to help Hizo's grandfather..."

Gabriel turned his body back and whistled, as if he hadn't heard Sylphy's words.

Kaizoku tried to calm the situation, responding awkwardly. "Uh... Don't worry, we'll be able to save them both, it just takes time..."

Sylphy could only shake her head. She asked Gabriel. "How far will we be walking?"

Gabriel answered hesitantly. "Uh... Near the Underworld and the snowy mountain."

Hearing Gabriel say 'Underworld,' Sylphy was immediately shocked and angry. "What!? Do you have a death wish? You're crazy! The Underworld is the most dangerous place in this world."

Instantly, Gabriel felt a chill from Sylphy's scolding. "Umm, we shouldn't actually enter the Underworld. The forced labor site is likely near the Underworld and the snowy mountain. If we keep a safe distance, we won't get sucked into the Underworld."

For the second time, Sylphy could only shake her head in surrender. "Whatever, I just don't want to go into the Underworld. That place is hell for us, just in a bright dark green color. A fate worse than death is entering the Underworld."

Hizo and Kaizoku, not knowing anything, could only look at each other in confusion.

"Ugh, I forgot to change my clothes. It's so uncomfortable wearing a dress all day in this heat." Sylphy said, annoyed.

Kaizoku responded to Sylphy's comment. "Hmm, luckily this tuxedo is quite comfortable for me, and not too hot even though it's black."

Gabriel also complained. "You guys changed clothes? What about me? I only have this fur armor, green colored thing. Haven't changed it in about years. But don't worry, I washed it."

Hizo could only look at his dirty clothes, dirty gloves, and dirty pants.
