After doing their best to follow the light without being caught, Kaizoku and Sylphy finally arrived at a large white mansion that was brilliantly illuminated in the night.
Hiding in the bushes, they watched as numerous guests entered the mansion.
"Looks like there's a party inside. Think we can get in without being noticed?" Kaizoku asked as he observed the area around the mansion.
"Seems like it... We're dressed as fancy as they are, so we should blend in. Besides, we ran all the way up this hill, just to watch them party? Come on, we could use a break." Sylphy replied.
"Don't forget, we're here to find Gabriel. Don't get carried away. Keep that in mind, Sylphy." Kaizoku stepped out of the bushes.
Sylphy followed, stepping out with him. "Yeah, yeah… I promise I won't do anything weird."
The two of them walked up to the guard standing by the grand gate leading into the mansion.
Without looking up, his eyes focused at guest list he's writing on. The guard asked, "Name?"

Caught off guard, they scrambled to think up fake names.
"Uh… My name's Billy McCarter, and this is my fiancée... uh, Mary Maxwell."
Hearing Kaizoku's words, Sylphy gave him a sidelong glance, looking annoyed. "Fiancée…?"
"Shh!" Kaizoku hushed her quickly.
The guard glanced up at them. "Fiancés, huh? You two don't really look like a couple."
They immediately held hands, forcing smiles. Kaizoku chuckled nervously. "Hehehe… Well, we just got engaged, you know..."
The guard looked unbothered by their suspicious behavior. "Huh? Fine then… I'm tired anyway, and my shift should be ending soon… Alright, go in. Just don't cause any trouble and follow the rules posted at the front of the mansion. If you break them, we won't hesitate to detain you, understood?"
They nodded rapidly, smiling with forced cheer.
"Alright, go ahead." the guard said, letting them enter.
As they stepped into the front courtyard of the mansion, Sylphy tried to pull her hand away, but Kaizoku held on, keeping them linked.
"Can't you just go along with this? Everything will be fine." Kaizoku muttered, tightening his grip.
"Rule number one from me: don't split up. Remember that, Sylphy. If we're found out, our lives are over. We're in enemy territory. So please, just follow my lead this time." Kaizoku said in a serious tone.
"Yeah, yeah, I understand. If something goes wrong, it's on you." Sylphy replied, also serious.
Taking a deep breath, they entered the grand mansion.
Inside, the rooms were brightly lit; people were dancing, drinking, and celebrating lavishly.
"Wow, let's enjoy the night a bit before we get caught." Kaizoku said, grinning.
"But you said... Damn it." Sylphy annoyed, but let it slide for now.
They chose an empty table to discuss their next steps.
"Kai, we need to find Gabriel quickly. We saw his light heading toward the back of the mansion." Sylphy urged.
Kaizoku nodded. "Right. If that was Gabriel, there must to be an exit at the back of the mansion. But we can't just risk wandering into the backyard. We need a plan…"
