With his personal items done, I gifted them to him and went about making him a proper boss room.
How would I design this one? Would I make it like the others or would I make it different? I mean the obvious answer was make it different, that would align with my goals too, so it only made sense.
I began by spawning in the bottom half of a normal oak tree, roots and all. Then I shifted them into the ground until only the trunk was left above ground. From there, I twisted the sides of the truck, spinning them off into thick threads of wood that I then wove into a dome-like structure.
After that, I utilized some soul essence to force the growth of more barks to fill in the gaps, when that was done I was left with an almost perfect sphere of wood. There were bumps and small irregularities here and there but I left those, as it gave the entire structure life and texture. Afterwards, I enlarged the structure until it was the size of a small house.
Then I willed the trunk to grow some more, raising the entire thing a little bit higher. Physics began to slap me though, and the wooden truck rapidly began cracking, threatening to break under its own weight.
I hastily wove in a boss-level durability enchantment, stabilizing it in place before repairing the micro cracks within. I honestly had no idea what I was making, only that it would be different from what I usually made.
I mean, that was a good start, right? It looked like a giant mushroom, only made of wood but I liked the look, and it's not like I could change it, nor did I really want to. I could try to make it thematically correct though.
Since this was a grass-themed floor I dove inside the entire structure with my soul essence, weaving threads of intent that I fired off into its genetic makeup. The entire thing instantly took on a shade of green that was quite close to the color of the grass but not quite.
Now it looked like a house-sized green mushroom, progress! I zoomed out and took in the entire thing one last time before returning to work, jumping inside it once more, weaving in the strings of my intent I made another change.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
Massive sheets of grass began growing upward from the side of the structure in a circle, until they almost completely encased it in a circle of grass. The only part that didn’t have one of these sheets is the section that faced my gaze, which would be the entrance.
From there I wove my soul essence into the sheets of grass and began manipulating them, cutting off bits here, growing a new piece here until I was satisfied. Then I fused them together, filling in any gaps until I had a perfect cone made of thick sheets of grass.
The sheets themselves were made of tiny blades of interlocking grass, though they were tightly interlocked; gaps still existed, and I filled in those gaps until there weren't any left. Then I grow out the bottom of this grass dome until it touched the ground of the floor, where it fused with it and split off into the grass native to this floor.
With that done I wove in a boss level durability enchantment and some other ones that would protect it from fire, rain, etc.
With that mostly done, I moved to the section that didn’t have a sheet of grass and willed the cone off grass to grow around it, until only a door-sized space was left untouched. I used the green oak there to form a door instantly.
Then I grew out some of the wood underneath it, twisting it into slabs of green oak that I willed to float into place, then I replicated the slab, willing each one to float in place until I was at ground level.
When I was done a set of floating slabs, each as thick and wide as a floor tile that all floated in place to create a floating stair completely outside the domain of lady gravity.
I began inscribing the infinity sign on each slab, when I was done with that I wove in a standard boss-level enchantment along with an element resistant one, also a shock absorbing one too. I was feeling inspired so I decided to connect the shock absorbing one to an enchantment that functioned similarly to a battery only it could store any type of energy.
Just for the fun of it, I tweaked the shock absorbing enchantment to not only absorb shock but any force at all. It would feed that force into the battery enchantment which would use that energy to light up the infinity rune and replay the sound of wood snapping each time anyone took a step.
Hehehe!
Once I was done messing around with the floating steps I moved on to the door. It was bland and was only a piece of green wood you could push open at the moment.
Time to change that!
I shaped out a doorknob, then I carved in tiny interlocking infinity signs to give it grip and texture. I did the same for the door itself but made the infinity signs a little bit bigger and made them glow light green.
I then began weaving it the usual enchantments before I called it complete and I could finally move inside. It was dark, and the only thing illuminating parts of it was the light coming from outside through the door.
Time to get to work!
I shifted my vision to the outside and set my gaze on the top of the grass cone. I formed a blue diamond at the top before enlarging it to the size of a bed. After that I wove in a light reflecting enchantment along with a battery one.
I was halfway into connecting and tweaking the two when I sensed someone touching the stone basin at my door entrance.
Time to go look!
