DIVISIONS - Political Geography

In this Xianxia, there are four major divisions in China.

The Orthodox Faction, also called the 'White faction.'

The Unorthodox Faction, also called the 'Black faction.'

The Heavenly Demonic Cult.

The Murim Alliance. This division consists of almost only white faction members, except for the few spies and ordinary people.

Aside from these, another cult, which has fallen in power in recent times, is the Blood Cult. This cult used to be feared across the whole of China, until 65 years ago, when The Blood Cult was involved in a massive war with the Black Faction, White faction and The Heavenly Demonic Cult. This war greatly damaged the blood cult, since it only had large amounts of assassins and almost no martial artists who could actually fight a master martial artist with equal footing, granted the assassins helped kill almost all the higher-ups of the other sects, the blood cult also suffered HEAVY damage, leading to its demise and the leader's weapon, "The Edge of Hemaliforce Mastery", being taken by the Orthodox Faction.

This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.

This war, however, failed to completely annihilate the blood cult, the survivors escaped to a remote forest in the Jiangxi province, there, they started to rebuild the blood cult from scratch, even building another branch in the Guizhou province.

Some notable Sects/Clans within the White Faction are;

The Wudang Sect.

The Mount Hua Sect.

The Hao Clan.

The Murim Alliance Sect; This is the sect to which everyone high up in the hierarchy of the Murim Alliance belong to, basically the people from this sect are royalty.

POWER SYSTEM

The main powers in the Xianxia are Qi and Mana, Mana is typically used to assist the Martial techniques which use Qi. This is only the case for China, Japan and Korea.

However, for the rest of the world, this is barely the case. For example, India uses "Zhou" which is Qi and Mana combined to the largest extent, this eliminates the need to assist spells/Martial Techniques with Qi or Mana respectively. Forming Zhou within a person regularly over a long period of time combines Qi and Mana completely and prevents them from being used separately. Forming a Zhou is heavily looked down upon in the regions which primarily use Spells/Martial Techniques in war.

Europe, western Africa and Oceania primarily use Spells, whereas most of the other regions use a variation of Zhou.

Aside from the previously mentioned Qi and Mana, there is another power system in the Xianxia, called , "Kyon."

This isn't found in anyone except the Protagonist (Zen) and his master.

I'll leave most of the other details for this blank as people find mysterious power systems more exciting! ;)

I might extend Chapter 0 later on, I'll post a notice if this happens!
