"Have you found anything yet?" asked Sarah for the fifth time in the last decca-turn, whilst sitting behind the Ageless's desk in his personal study. One with a five kilogram block of Shadowed Marble in the centre, which had been carved into an image of a World Tree. Which the children pawed at and played around. The entirety of the room, however, was bare of decorations save for the odd carvings upon the wall and ceiling.
These were explained to her that they were the history of their world of Terra, and would continue to grow, as the room would mirror such growth in order to accommodate the new images. As to where he obtained the idea for such a thing? Well, the God King claimed it was from the Terran Dragons, as they had such a thing done up upon their own cavernous walls. Therefore, he desired to experiment with a way to integrate the history of his Terra upon the walls of his personal room. However, such a thing was done up a little too well, and the area has grown much larger than previously thought. In that it needed to be placed inside a pocket dimension set within the Midnight Castle. Which simply means that it was quite the large room.
"Nothing yet, My Queen," grinned Auua as he placed a try containing a tea set upon the only dest in the room. Whereupon he did pour a small cup of an amber-red fluid into one of three cups, and passed it towards her person. "Then again, it is a large castle. So it will take some time to search it all for something as monstrous as a Satyr."
"I am well aware of the size of our castle," sighed Sarah as she sipped at the drink absentmindedly, "I'm just curious to know as to why it's here. There's nothing on the roster, nor have there been any messengers stating that one would arrive." Sighing once more, she did tap the desk with the foreclaw of her right, clawed hand several times whilst contemplating on what to do.
Unfortunately, nothing came to mind besides the full mobilisation of the castle's Living Armour. Of which she was loathe to do, as all servants would be confined to their rooms and areas where they work, instead of being allowed to roam around. For she was the master of the castle, and desired everyone working within it to be allowed to wander the many halls without fear. Though, there were a few specific areas no one, but the family was allowed into, everything else was open to them.
Hence the reason for hesitation.
Sighing a third time, her attention turned back to the metallic ape, "If no one can find this creature who dared to frighten my child and his friends, then I shall be calling on the Ageless for his guidance."
"Ook," nodded the other whilst the trio of children hopped around his feet with great curiosity. Of whom then bowed low towards her person, and vanished into a portal.
"Is Papa coming home?" mewed Nox, his tails wagging all over the place with great excitement, as his eyes were wide, and ears perked.
"Yes, Nox," smiled Sarah as she lifted her son off the ground, along with his two friends, and placed them upon her lap. Whereupon they did sit and stared up at her features with widened eyes.
However, Maya's eyes shut tight as her head shook. Upon opening them, her expression became that of a "Puppy-dog Stare", whining, "Aunty Sarah, I'm hungry."
Chuckling to herself as the other pair voiced their own hunger, the Goddess did set about in summoning up a plate full of meats, cheeses, and vegetables. As well as three small cups of a sweet, red fruit juice for them to drink.

"How difficult is it to find one blasted Satyr in my own home?" growled the Ageless as his son growled back whilst perched atop his father's head. Where he did bite and chew on the left, twitching ear.
"My apologies, Ageless," bowed Auua who winced every time the God King's voice was raised, "We did not know it would run into the arms of a carnivorous Dryad."
"I doubt that is the one my child saw, Auua," his voice grew dark as the remnants of a Satyr was brought forth before his person upon a long, silvered tray, "We shall see soon enough." Whereupon he did stretch out his right paw as his eyes burned with a desire to end all who stood in his way. Of which caused a dark circle of violet and crimson energies to erupt around the body whilst lightnings of the same colour arched through the air, and into the body itself.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
As to the location of where they stood? It was outside in his own personal garden. One that was full of death and poisonous flowers which he had collected nearly a millennia ago from the various worlds he had stepped foot upon. Yes. Nox was allowed within such a thing, much to the despair of Sarah, but only when the God King was present. For such plants which covered the garden could easily harm an immortal child that was Nox, stunting his growth in body, mind, or magickal ability.
For now, though, the child stayed upon his father's head whilst watching the light show that came from the magicks present. Whereupon he did "ooh" and "awe" as he body before them quickly grew into the shape of a tan coloured satyr that was not at all what scared his little heart and mind. "That's not it, Papa," he squeaked once the spell faded whilst the body of the other awoke with a small scream, "That one's not scary."
"I thought not," grumbled the Kitsune, who squatted to the ground in order to glare at the unknown individual before them, "So? Who are you?"
"Wh-where am I?" spoke the Satyr in a hushed whisper, its eyes darting around the area as though searching for something... or someone, "Wh-where is he?"
"Where is whom?" asked Auua, who was not at all amused.
The other, however, rested frantic eyes upon the ape, then upon the Ageless, both unknown to its eyes. However, once they fell upon Nox, did they widen greatly as the child's ears perked up, his head tilting towards the left. "No, no, no, no, no. If you're here, then I failed. I failed, and He will kill us all."
The Ageless, not at all enjoying the scenes being played out before his own eyes, gripped the head of the Satyr, who struggled weakly, and growled out, "You will give unto me your thoughts and memories. All of it. For I desire it so!" Lightning, as dark as a Lord of Chaos's own essence, ran down the arm and paw which gripped the other, entering its mind as the energies and magicks tore away every thought and memory contained within the now liquefied brain. Of which slowly leaked out of its ears just as its now lifeless body fell to the ground with a thud.
However, just before the body fell away, did an orb of silver energy form before everyone. One that contained the memories and thoughts of the creature who jabbered something unknown. Upon noting such a thing, did Auua reach up and take the young hybrid from his father's head. For the energies entered his mind, allowing the Ageless to watch and read everything contained within the energies. Of which caused his body to grow larger, full of wrath and loathing as the colours of Madness and Chaos swarmed around the skeletal visage that was the God King's second form.
"Auua," thundered the voice of the King of the Terran Pantheon, which did cause the world around them to shudder under the wrath of the one who created it, "Take my child back inside, and do not allow any others to enter the realm of the Midnight Castle. As well as to gather up all servants, personnel, and Immortals."
"May I beg to know what it is that you had found, My Lord God?" called out the metallic ape who had to shout in order to be heard.
"Inform Sarah that I will be conducting a purge within the Pantheon. For there are quite a few Lords of Chaos who desire my child and wife in order to blackmail my person in order to perform for their desires," whereupon his great and terrible head did turn towards his servant's own person, then towards the castle proper. Here, his voice was raised until the entirety of the plane of existence did quake under the power of the Ageless's voice, "Awaken. Awaken. Ye of ironed flesh and blood of magick. For now you must fulfill the oaths made to my and mine. So awaken, O Armour of Iron, and take arms against mine own enemies."
Upon such words did the entirety of the castle's Living Armour which decorated the halls, bedrooms, and everything in between awaken with a flash of crimson eyes. They then did creak forward with shields placed in front of their persons and weapons at the ready. For the army loyal to the family under the God King and Queen had awakened, and would guard their charges until oblivion took them.
