Two weeks passed rather quickly and uneventfully, the production of guns for hundred men was complete and two of the hwacha were also completely loaded with rockets. Robert had been sending in the soldiers in small numbers into the city since last week. They all got into the various safe houses without any hitch and was ready for action any time Robert ordered

Robert assigned two fire magi to shoot the hwacha, and ten snipers were being trained intensively to use their rifles to the highest precision. Robert had already found a way to make time bombs, the way he came up with was to use incense sticks! Even if he was unable to get synchronization, all he needed with these bombs was chaos. And the incense sticks gave a 30 minutes time for the spy to plant many of these and get out unscathed. And Robert had custom made the incense stick from a luxury shop so that it wouldn’t have any smoke or odor. The thickness and length of the incense were also pretty standard, giving maximum synchronization.

A hwacha fixed carriage was ready to leave to the Goldfair city, Robert decided to leave too. He wanted to be on the frontline, commanding, as the battle was happening.

Dressing up, covering himself in a cloak, as to not get recognized by anyone among the people of Snake skull who might have seen him before, he got into a carriage. The first carriage had already left yesterday and safely got into the city.

Sophy was anxious about Robert going into the frontline, if she couldn’t capture the city, that was just that, she will have many opportunities in the future to shine. “So you guys are all from Greyston?” Robert broke the ice with a question, he was getting tired of the silence and these guys seemed like they were afraid to speak as he was here.

“I am from Goldfair, moved here ‘cuz there were more animals to hunt ‘ere” A burly man with large mustache spoke up.

This man was Mike, although he was a sniper, what he was more interested in was to be on the frontline, taking out enemy soldiers. Long distance attacks didn’t suit his personality. If he had one, he would have fought with a big gun, like a huge hand cannon.

“Unlike Mike, I was born here raised here, been to Goldfair only once,”This man was neither thick nor thin, he had a good build but was in no way muscular.

“Your name is?” Robert asked.

“He is called Isidro! And unlike me, he loves to kill from a distance, he was an archer in the army. A longbowman”

Mike was a hunter and Isidro was a soldier, both of them loved to shoot the guns from the moment they first used it.

Robert already chose their positions from their personalities. Let Mike be on the frontline, and Isidro is the one providing cover fire.

The carriage got into the city without any problem, all they had to do was to give a few golds to the thugs that were guarding the gates. The carriage was moved into the back of a safe house that was near the castle. Mike and Isidro carried in the canister shells that was to be used in the cannon into the house one by one.

The tiny house already had a cannon inside and a few men inside to operate it, now that the big Mike and two others have entered, it got crowded. Later few men came into the house to take canister shells into other cannon positions, and at evening, the spy of Naoki came in to get the time bombs.

The preparations were complete. tonight, they were taking the Goldfair city back!
