Upon finishing the breakfast, Melton and his gang finally went to the forest to investigate. Although it was their job it was a big pain to look for "anomalies" considering how many things can be considered as such. The forest was as normal as one can be considering all the magical creatures and plants that were unknown to Melton. Niha on the other hand seemed quite familiar with the nature.
"It seems you are quite familiar with the environment " Melton said to Niha, his voice sounded curious but neither his body nor facial expression changed.
" My people are quite adept in the ways of survival. Ever since I was young I had to learn how to and provide for my family. It is not on the level of some great explorer but I assure you I will be of use." Niha said calmly while leading the way.
As they began to go deeper into the forest more and more mystical beings and plant life began to appear. It seems the concentration of magic was denser in the middle so creatures were not only more majestic but stronger as well. Melton was amazed but tried to hide it for himself since nobody else seemed surprised by the sight in front of them.
While going deeper they started to see some unusual sights, corpses scattered on the trees , their blood dried out and their eyes popping out of their skulls. It was a clear sign that what was ahead of them was a wild and savage being. Everyone but Mathias and Demi were on guard. After all their heads may be the next to fall.
Upon exploring further they encountered a group of gigantic spiders which were feasting on semi-mutilated corpses. They were not surprised as much as they expected and instead went straight into the battle. Henry took the vanguard and Melton was right behind to strike while Mathias and Niha were aiming to blind the overgrown arachnoids. They were surprisingly tough compared to the regular ones but Melton and Henry managed to pierce their stomaches and end the fights.

The fight was finished and nobody but Henry got any injuries. Henry got scratched on the back by spiders leg but it couldn't reach too deep due to him wearing his armor.
"Don't worry I got a fellow for this job." Demi said as he threw a glass vial with weird purple gel on Henry. It started to react with his skin.
"Ow ow ow. What the hell did you throw at me? It stings like hell." Henry said as he was spinning around trying to remove it from his back.
"Just some nice healing gel. Hurts like hell but is great to throw at an injured ally. It can recover most of the unfunny stuff." Demi said smugly and he was right. The wound he has healed up in a matter of few minutes and they went forward with their search of the anomaly within the forest. Upon getting near the center of the forest plants started becoming dark and ominous.
Upon reaching an unusual cave covered in crystalized blood they found a weird sight. There were limbs and body parts in unusual formations as if they were used for some sort of ritual or offering for a devil. There was also and unusual door with weird being trying to open it. As they were approaching they were noticed by monsters and attacked. These monsters were some sort of blood demons and they were restless. As they were fighting them they all suddenly stopped and ran towards the door. As they were grouped an unusual grey portal opened and a being came out of it. It was a pale elf with long dark hair. It was the one on the second seat in Council of Torment.
"Oh? We have guests. Quite an interesting case this is" He said in a calm voice which was a bit higher in pitch. His presence was agitating and unnerving as he looked at them and his grin grew large.
"I mean no harm. My name is James. Don't be afraid and come closer" The being said as his head was tilting. They all knew this was going to escalate quite swiftly. Henry was filled with rage as he could never get his figure out of his memory. He knew it was the one who killed his family. Demi lost his usual carefree attitude and was looking more serious than ever. Everybody was ready to strike as soon as possible.
