" System I noticed that it says 10 points by skill points. What is skill points and how do I gain them?"
[ Skill points have multiple uses but for now, the only way you can use them is to increase your attributes. Skill points are earnt by levelling up. You got 10 free skill points as a gift from the God of the multiverse. When you level up to level 2 you will only earn 3 skill points.]
" What about ability points why don't I have any of that?"
[ Ability points is earned through actual combat since you haven't experienced combat since coming to this world you naturally won't have any ability points. The ability points you gain can be used to upgrade the skills that you use.]
" Aaah I understand. System what level of intelligence do I need to do a full assimilation? "
[ With your current intelligence you can do a full assimilation of 10 books per day. As your intelligence/memory rises you will be able to fully assimilate more."
Lucas now knew a bit about what the system provided him. And how he how he could make the best use of it.
Lucas then thought " It's about time I learnt how this world operates." Lucas then walked into an aisle that said Geography and dragged his hands across all the books in the aisle. He did the same for the aisles that said Magic, Economics, Adventures and more and more and more.
[ Warning max capacity reached. Should you choose to continue you will overload and damage your brain causing migraines and nausea. A proportionate amount of intelligence will be subtracted to the damage caused.]
Lucas immediately halted and stop touching the books. An intelligence cut is the last thing he needs right now. Lucas then walked back to his chair and sat down.
"System assimilate the books into knowledge for me"
[ Assimilating 10% 15% 30% 45% 50% 60% 65% 75% 80% 85% 90% 99% 100%.

Assimilation complete.]
Suddenly a lot of information rushed into his head at once and the questions he asked minutes ago could be answered.
The best way to explain the world Lucas was transported to was that of an MMORPG type world. According to the books, this world is billions of years old. There are multiple races such as Western-style Dragons, Eastern-style Dragons, Lamias, Beastmen, Demons, Dwarves, Elves, Giants, humans and more. However, the mentioned are the dominant races each possessing a piece of land. Humans are the only species that have their land they control split into four Kingdoms ruled by four different Kings. The rest of the species are ruled by one supreme being. Every species also has different races. An example is that humans are split between the white, red, green and blue skinned people.
Platinum, Gold, Silver and, Bronze is the currency that everyone across the entire globe uses(Commodity money). A piece of platinum is equivalent to 1000 pieces of gold. 1 piece of gold is equal to 100 pieces of silver and 1 piece of silver is proportionate to 100 bronze pieces. Money can be made through blacksmithing, pill conducting and more medieval type jobs. The main mode that people make money is through being an Adventurer. Adventures take on quests laid out by the guild which they get from Nobles or anyone that can pay the amount required for the job. A rank is placed on each quest depending on its difficulty. The ranks start from F to A. A being the hardest jobs and F being the easiest. The higher the rank, the higher the difficulty, the higher the payout.
Before you can become an adventurer you have to meet the standard strength requirement in the class you chose. Which means you need to meet the strength of an F Rank " insert class".There is an Academy for each class. The classes are Mage, Warrior, Priest, Assasin, Ranger. These all have sub-classes like being classified as an Elemental mage or a Summoner etc. Just like that Knight is a subclass of Warrior.
In order to improve your rank, you either complete a lot of quests or take the test of the rank you want. However, if you fail the test you can no longer take the test of that rank. You must also pay a penalty based on the rank you are taking the test for. The higher your rank the higher your social status, of course, it could also be that the higher your rank the higher your infamy.
Different levels of status are given to different classes based on the difficulty of each class. With mage obtaining the highest status due to the lower percentage of mages. Approximately 3% of all adventurers are Mages. After Mage is Warrior then Priest, Ranger and Assasin. Once you become a rank C Mage you are automatically given the status of a noble. Where the other classes require Rank B for the same title. So basically a rank C mage has a higher social standing than a rank B Warrior and a Rank B warrior has a higher social standing than a rank B Priest.
Lastly, the rest of the classes is made up of what is called the Dark classes. Like necromancers, Lich Kings, Undead and more. They do not gain higher social statuses being that the Adventurers Council has classified them as illegal classes. The use of that power in public will get you arrested if caught by the city guards.
Lucas now finally understood a bit of how the world worked. All that was left was to get stronger! He just needed to pick a class and level up! But Lucas already knew what class he wanted to pick. In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to say he was born for this class.
" System how do I choose a class?"
[Are you asking how or do you want to choose a class?]
" I want to choose a class."
[ .... Choose a class. Mage/Warrior /Priest/Ranger/Assasin]
"Mage!"
[ Advantages: Class with the most destructive damage, AOE (1) spells/ Crowd control. Higher mana points. The most compatible with the blessings received from the God of the multiverse.
Disadvantages: Weak physical bodies. Weak to warriors and Assasins. ]
" Now that I have chosen my class, how do I level up?"
[ You level up by gaining experience points. Experience points are earnt by battling monsters, completing quests and PVPs]
" I am currently locked in the confines of this castle so is there perhaps any other way for me to level up?"
[ System can teleport you to a levelling up location best fit for you based on current prowess. Pay 1 Gold to initiate teleportation array, or pay 5 SP"]
" Mmm paying 5 SP to gain more SP, seems like a good deal. But first, let me go raid the magic aisle and then read a suitable book. Unfortunately, I'm going to have read the book myself because I have already assimilated to max capacity. And I need to keep extra SP in case I need to escape from where I am being teleported to."
Lucas looked at the table and saw the book that Rosabella Ashbinder was reading. He could now finally read the title. It said " Peak D Rank Inferno Spell" Lucas then opened the contents and the first words on the page said, "If you not at least a half step C Rank do not attempt to practice this spell." Lucas was shocked when he read this for this meant that girl was at least a Half Step (2) C Rank.
" Is everyone in this castle so powerful?" Lucas thought.
Lucas got out of his chair and walked into the magic aisle and picked the first book because it was most likely the low-level spells. He then read the title and it said " Lesser Light" Lucas, of course, did not need this spell so he put it back and this time he looked at the titles on the books until he saw one that he could use. He eventually found one and the title said " F Rank Fireball" this intrigued him because he needed a spell that could do damage to kill the monsters that he would see.
