Chapter 9: The Green Hand Serial Killer Arc: The Green Hand Killer Part 4

I heard a voice calling. Was it me the call was meant for, or was it for the birds?

When I opened my eyes, three frog heads stared at me. The moment was here, and the truth was that I wasn't dead; otherwise, I wouldn’t have seen three thieves watching down on me.

“You all right?” Tim asked in a sarcastic tone.

Tamm reached out his hand. Thank god they had human hands to help me up from the ground and several Grawlers on the grass, which looked quite dead. Was I really this weak that these guys quickly handled them off, even though it wasn’t all of them?

It made me look like a terrible investigator while hunting them on rooftops last year. They would probably kill me without putting much energy into It. I got up; the pain in my stomach and chest made it impossible for me to probably be able even to stand much longer before passing out. I lost my balance, but Tim and Tamm helped me stand up. As I was on my way to falling on the grass, Tim and Tamm grabbed me to help me stand up. I slowly opened my blazer and saw that the knife wound was still bleeding, and There wasn't much time left. I need to help Valldor. I leaned towards Tamm, and we slowly started to walk to the opened portal, but no more Grawlers were coming through it. They probably must have figured out that something must have happened when the other ones didn’t return, not returning.

“They are dead? Arent they?” I asked while we slowly passed the Grawlers on the ground.

“Mhm!” Tamm uttered with silence following it.

When we reached the portal and stood before it, I let go of Tamm, knowing I needed to go without the frog's help because of the bounty on them, but an idea popped into my head. If I walk through, maybe they are waiting in front on the other side of it and will beat my ass directly when I go through. What if I flew through the portal?

At least I can go through it at high speed. If nobody is on the other end, I can try to roll on the ground on my way down if I fly above the desk.

“Okay! I can't pass through it normally. I need two of you to throw me through the portal.” I commented.

All three looked around, confused about what I meant by that comment.

“What do you mean throw?” Tamm asked.

“If I go through normally and they wait on the other side by the portal, I can get excruciating pain if I get attacked while walking through. If I get thrown through the portal, I will come in flying through the portal. I hope to hit one of them, try to roll on the ground, and end up in front of the kiosk instead of inside. It may work…or not work. Otherwise, maybe you guys want to join me through the portal?” I asked.

They tried to laugh, but it wasn’t possible. After all, their frog faces might trigger an alarm because they were visible in a train station owned by the Valiant Organization. I could only hear a weird sound coming from them; this probably was their new way of laughing.

“We can’t! We just killed a couple of Grawlers, and we won't risk going through the portal when we are wanted all over Paladin Woods, so we would rather wait for a message from you about which train we can take back to Valiant. Tamm, the smartest of them, explained.

“Well! Then throwing it is!” I said to them.

Tim, Tom, and I took a few steps back, and they grabbed me under my arms. Tamm prepared the handle to close the portal directly when I passed It. I got a quick push, and I was swaying in the air for a moment when they, with full power, threw me through the portal, where it was pitch black. The only light behind me stopped shining. In a specific direction, It felt like I was flying. It felt like I was flying in pitch-black darkness until a light in front of me opened, and I realized maybe it wasn’t a good idea to go through the portal at high speed. I quickly switched my body so my knuckles pointed toward the light like some superhero. When I passed the light, my knuckle hit something hard, and I went over to the desk on the Kiosk without having to roll over the ground as planned. For Fuck sake, my right knuckle got a bad hit. I made the famous rollover on the ground, then turned around and saw a Grawler's face smashed. Three Grawlers appeared in front of the kiosk, making the annoying scream sound like they were maybe crying.

Okay! It must be a misunderstanding. They looked pissed that I had just killed their comrade. Luckily, they didnt see the other ones dying at the hands of the Froggin Thieves. There's not long left on energy to keep going; this is like going on a reserve battery saver like the Furacell battery for me. I looked around, trying to find Valldor, and I noticed light coming out of a white and yellow train. I thought no trains were stopping at Paladin station. What, fudge?

The Grawlers started to leap toward me while I was looking at the train and saw Valldors bloody T-shirt and his bloody face. He was fighting heroically against the green hand monster and the black aura human, but he kept getting hit by the black creature while fending off the green hand. I need to try to go on and help him out before something terrible happens to him. From my right angle, while watching toward the train, I saw a flying kick coming towards me. I moved slowly back one step, grabbed the leg, turned 360 degrees, and threw a Grawler against the train wagon so the window got cracked. I Got hit on my right side at the same time. I cringed and tried to recover while putting a complex boxing combination with my knuckles. The Grawler got a good taste of the combo.

Then, when it fell to the ground, I followed suit, kept hitting it, and noticed the bone check bending inward. At the same time, I got hit on my back, but I didn’t care anymore. I was probably going to die anyway. Why not go out with a blast instead, I thought. One down, two left, I rolled to the side. The one hitting my back followed quickly after, and when I was in a position on my back, it tried to jump on me while I was on my way up, but I managed to get my knee up and paired the hit. I started to elbow the bastard with my right arm a couple of times until it fell over. I got slowly up, but not the whole way, and I released my knee on the head and kept kneeing the head on it while it was squealing on the ground until there wasn’t any sound anymore. Slowly, I got up from the ground; now it was two down and one left. The one I threw against the wagon slowly got up and saw its comrades had fallen in war and started running towards me. I took one step to the right and a quick left step, grabbed it with my whole arm on its throat, leaned my body forward, and slammed it with full strength to the ground.

Something broke in The Grawler's neck, and it went quiet momentarily. Thank the fudge, it's over, I thought, but I was looking into the train of the fighting that was going on. Suddenly, the train slowly started to move from nowhere, and I panicked and started to run beside it. The black aura, whatever figure was laughing with his red eyes, and the train started accelerating. I ran and managed to up my running. With full force, I threw myself at the cracked window and landed inside the train while it moved. Still, I was pretty finished now, laying on the ground, noticing blood was dripping on the floor from my head. There were civilians on this train scared shitless, and Valldors position now was on the other end of the train. He was trying to protect the civilians while fighting both of them off. Luckily, he wasn’t in the middle anymore. They were in the middle. The cloak turned around and lifted his whole hand this time and yelled:

“WHY ISN'T HE DEAD YET!”
