“Get up you orc dental hygienists!” I heard Captain Marquise boom. Knowing that he would never be up this early. I get up fast, for safety I grab my pack and put it on. My sword on my hip and gauntlet on my left hand I jog to Qysik and Aesir who are entering a line.
Aesir seeing my face replies, “the army of Ferrumaleator has attacked three days ahead of when spies were saying.” His hatchets have been switched out for actual battle axes. How his short stature could swing two battle axes around alludes me, however I decided it would be better to get to my position.
Heading towards the mortars I take my defensive position, Marquise is waiting there with Little t. “What took you so long. I was thinking you would be more excited for this?” Chuckling I unsheathe the sword and activate gauntlet. Our position is on a hill next to the camp. From this high ground I see a battalion approaching in a 5-line deep 10-rows across formation. I doubt that’s all considering the number of trees nearby. We tried our best to cut down as many as we could, but there were always more. Our battalion started marching forward. Only 3 deep and 12 across. However, we have combat mages and healers trailing behind.
Then I see it, a giant fiery orb behind the enemy's formation. It is encased in a gold sphere the size of a hut, the heat rising off it. “What is that?”
Little t pipes up. “That there is a God Orb. If someone can get an enough prayer of the same thing and petition their god enough. The god will send down a god sphere to be used for that purpose. Since Ferrumaleator is the god of forges that there would most likely be forge fire. Since imperial gold has a resistance to forge fire, they surround the God Orb, so it doesn’t hurt anyone, until they want it to.”
Marquise belly laughs. “Wow never heard you say so much. Anyway, all we have to do is hit it with a mortar shell and hope it takes care of the group we see, then we will fight whoever is left.”
We load the mortar and as we fire ours, I see three others go off in the distance and one near the mess hall. All of them land near the God Orb, but they all end hitting the ground. Again, we fire and this time two of them make a dent in the gold. As some fire starts to spill out the two battalions finally charge.

I see a few mortars shells crash into the funny gold thing these weirdos are taking with them. Brushing it off, all I know is that I’m charging at the other side. Great mace in hand I have it over my head. My tower shield in front of me. I got stuck in the front line. It’s not bad though, it just gets me more heads to bash. Aesir is next to me, he switched out the good o’l hatchets for something more meant for combat. It slows him down a little bit, but that halfling sure can move. Once we meet in the middle, I bring my mace down. Giving someone a “slight headache” (it splattered) laughing I return to what I’m meant to do. I cast sanctuary over this area before anyone else can. It will be a booger to maintain, but it’s worth it. Once I get to the third row it starts to get tough. By this point everyone is in a bit of a one versus one. Healers and combat mages are throwing spells, and it helps, but it’s still a struggle. I’m fighting a salamander with two karambits. They are weaving through my attacks making it considerably harder to hit him. After mowing him down after a good honorable fight, I see an odd golden orb approaching. I immediately felt a wave of heat hit me. Right after a series of booms, almost deafening, I see some molten liquid flow out. The entire enemy battalion turns around. There is a moment where nothing moves. Terrified, yet awestruck at what we were saying. Then they turned around and yelled some kind of spell. I couldn’t quite identify it, almost seemed to be out of anger.

I was chilling out. Then I felt Ferrumaleator get all mudkoppled. Looking at the calendar I realized that today was when his army was supposed to be in battle. I stood up from my beanbag chair, “ope too quick!” Lightheaded I stumbled over to him. Fellow has always been a bit of a hothead. “Buddy I’m takin a nap chill out, whatever it is it ain’t that deep” He shoves me off, whatever he can cope with it. Curious I see how things are going over in the south. Once I make it there, I see that part of my holy army is in battle. Bored with playing poker with Zineweiver I decided to watch. Seems to be going good for my side. I see one orc rush down from a hill seemed to have a longsword, but my dude was carrying that thing like a short sword Medayumn once he makes it down the hill he seems to get by the side of Luk. “Nice guy”. Luk and he seem to start to mow down soldiers. Eventually making it to a god orb, it seems to already be leaking. Good for the young orc Luk should know how to collapse that thing. Luk summons a tendril up the orb. He runs up the orb and decides to do it the hard way. He brings up the molten metal out of the orb. Using his power of forging a massive hammer he brings it down on the entire army. He is being too noticeable. Oh well he’ll be notified soon. Satisfied with it I head back up and decide to discuss things with Zineweiver about Luk. Grabbing my beanbag chair, I feel different. What just happened? I’ll figure it out anyway this is as much as I can communicate right now. Farewell young orc.
