"Traveling through the forest with a wimpy little twat while looking out for danger," I go on about singing while looking behind me at the carriage where the little miss princess probably slept like a junkie after being so rude to me until her father just knocked her out and stuffed her in the carriage.
As far as me, I didn't really care about the dangers of this supposed mission; as long as I got some money to pay the bills and support my family, that's all I really cared about. So what if there's a high likelihood of me dying during my first trip?
The carriage I was currently riding was a pretty nice one with leather seats and a very comfortable riding chair for whoever would be leading the horses. Honestly, this seat was way more comfortable than my own bed at home. If I'm being honest, it felt like a little piece of cloud attached to a seat, making my butt feel so comfortable it didn't want to leave its side.
{Tummy rumbles}
Aw man, it hadn't even been a couple of hours of riding before my stomach started begging for sustenance, forcing me to start eating some of the dried meat out of my pockets so we didn't have to stop to set up camp just yet. How very calm this trip turned out to be.
I've never been a fan of the wilderness, so I still pay attention to every little movement of the leaves and all those weird noises coming from the forest path. The sound of the owls and other little critters was enough to creep anybody out, including me, as my nerves were in high gear basically the whole trip.
My main issue was the lack of magical power and, therefore, my blindness to it since I can't see people using magical power or abilities that rely on magic, making me pretty vulnerable to illusion attacks or other types of ambush attacks, which were probably the types of magic I would have to face along the way, talk about underqualified.
If you're one of those people who is somehow interested in how I got my powers in the first place, then oh boy, are you a lucky one! I've got nothing better to do right now, so why don't I tell you the story about that fateful day I discovered I could tap into the Oni's roar stack?
The day was a normal one like any other; we were all just supposed to go outside and play a little bit until we finally mastered the power of Water magic. Everyone except me was having a great time aiming at the moving targets with their water jets, yet I didn't have the same luck.
"Hey, there, dumpshiro! Can't use magic yet, uh!?" "What a loser!" Of course, many of my peers didn't let this opportunity to humiliate me pass, so I was practically the walking joke among everybody. I was very angry with the world for not allowing me to use low-level water magic.

I eventually found myself a way out of the practice area. I walked alone through a not-very well-known path while kicking and breaking things like branches and stuff, anything to get the anger out of me before I got an internal bleed from my growing frustrations.
"It's unfair; why do they get the good stuff, and I get nothing?" I remember saying that as I kept walking all alone until I finally found an excellent spot to rest in peace, far away from all the blessed mana kids and the teacher who would always give me a hard time like the lack of magic was somehow my fault!
I sat there for a while, thinking about all the things I would achieve and try to accomplish once I got my key to magical power. I practically daydreamed all the class sessions until I heard a commotion coming from the magical training grounds. When I finally ran back to the grounds, all I could see was a giant earth dragon engaged in a battle with my teachers.
{Oracle of deep waters - Hoyo mix}
All of my teachers were defiantly fighting the dragon, but they were clearly not strong enough to keep the earth dragon away from their retreating students. I could see the panic on everyone's faces as well as the fear running through my veins. I wanted to flee so bad and forget about it until I saw her.
I saw how the earth dragon was about to finish off the math teacher, who was by all means the hottest teacher of them all with those delicate curves and a gigantic ass that would be worth dying for; once I saw them in trouble, my blood rushed all over me and I stupidly or bravely depending on who you asked tried to rush a damn dragon without any magical power.
The dragon, of course, turned around and quickly punched me back against a tree, breaking practically all the bones in my body with a single swipe. I couldn't even move for a second, yet I couldn't let the dragon keep hurting the math teacher, which was what unlocked my Oni's potential. That willpower to protect awakened the monolith's power to help me fight back.
{Minute 0:50}
My entire body was surrounded by that burning sensation of power as I watched my teacher about to be rushed to death by the dragon. Something snapped within me that pushed my barriers further than ever; that desire and feeling to protect rushed every fiber and muscle in my body to do something about which I did.
Call it bravery or stupidity, whatever the case might've been, I didn't really care at the moment as I felt the strenght of the dragon collide against my own, and the dragon was losing. "Super stacked! SUPER STRENGHT!" That was the first time I ever uttered those words, which naturally came to my mind as if the power was bound to be mine since the day I was born.
The dragon's claw fought my newfound strenght, and it lost it when I pushed it back, sending it flying several yards away with a single move. My entire body gleaned a very colorful aura of rainbow colors, with the main one being pure white with fragments of the rainbow all over it.
Ever since that day, I've had free access to this Oni's power of stacked super strenght; who knows if that's even the name of the ability? It just sounded good at the moment, and it's stuck as its name for so far, so I might as well keep it going. Yet even when I saved my teacher from a literal dragon, I still managed to find a way to get in trouble when I grabbed her booty a little bit.
I mean, don't look at me like that! I bravely made a dragon turn around on its ass, running back into the forest; the least that teacher could do for me was to let me grope her a little, right? Was I in the wrong? I mean, shut up! I don't want to hear it!
