Temperance groaned and covered his eyes with his hands as he led on the floor of his azuregate. Temperance rubbed his eyes before he raised his hands to the swirling galaxy-looking masses of sparkly gold and silver qi(it's an energy with a particle effect), kai(it's an energy with a liquidy effect), and magical energy(it's an energy with a spikey effect) high in the fake pitch-black sky.
"Why are you so bent out of shape?" Nakamai asked as she sat next to Temperance and poked his face. Teach strolled up behind Nakamai and patted her on the head.
"He's feeling the consequences of his actions for not heeding my guidance and going against his own... character for the sake of his allies," Teach stated.
"Huh?" Nakamai murmured perplexedly. Teach rolled his eyes and ruffled Nakamai's hair before he removed his hand from her head.
"He decided to agree to the snow fairy's request without thinking about said agreement which led to six more girls being added to his unintentional harem," Teach explained which made Temperance flinched before he rolled onto his side.
"Lay off, would you? At least now I won't have to worry about using my Azure Abilities or the shackle magic tattoo against another person for the time being," Temperance said snarkily. Teach shook his head and pulled a leg back before swinging it forward and punting Temperance across the azuregate like a football.
Temperance soared through the air, barrel rolling as he fell towards the ground before landing on the top of his head. Temperance remained upside down and balanced on the top of his head like a bowling pin. Temperance sparingly inhaled before sharply exhaling through his nose.
"What was that for?" Temperance uttered disapprovingly while making his discontent with Teach's action extra known through his disapproving tone. Teach strolled towards Temperance while Nakamai clung to one of Teach's kitsune tails and let it drag her across the watery-texture floor.
"I won't have your edgy phase negatively affect you and make you refuse to use all the cards you have available to you just because you screwed up in the past," Teach stated sternly, with his voice drumming into Temperance's ears. Temperance scoffed and crossed his arms as he adverted his eyes.
"I don't know how you can refer to what I did as a screw-up," Temperance uttered poutingly as his face shifted from an angered expression to a sombre one.
"I won't say what happened isn't something to be reflective about, but I can assure you things will certainly get worse when a similar situation occurs," Teach stated coldly, making Temperance groan in frustration as he covered his face with his hands.

Hours later, Temperance exhaustedly groaned as he opened his eyes and blankly glared at the wooden ceiling of his dorm room. Temperance sat up in his bed and gazed around at his well-furnished bedroom, which showed no additions added by Temperance. Temperance yawned and rubbed his face as he felt something rustling under his bedsheets. Temperance lifted his bedsheets to see Nakamai (with the physical form of a short nine-year-old girl) staring straight at him. (Nakamai has pale white skin, super long sparkly golden hair with glowing silver stars pattern all over her hair, six short fluffy sparkly golden fox tails, two fox ears, and sparkling golden eyes with black scleras)
Temperance silently stared at the naked Nakamai as she led on Temperance's chest.
"Aah, the fabled waking up to see a naked girl in your be-" Nakamai uttered before Temperance wrapped one of his kitsune tails around Nakamai and lifted her onto the floor. Nakamai crossed her arms and pouted as Temperance's tail unwrapped from around her.
"You could've at least pretended to be flustered," Nakamai complained as she repeatedly huffed. Nakamai stood up and tried to climb back into Temperance's bed, but she was halted by Temperance moving his hand in front of her face. Nakamai raised her head over Temperance's hand and silently gave Temperance a judgmental stare.
"Put on some clothes first.".
"Why? it's not like I'm indecent," Nakamai whined as she pointed at her nippleless chest.
"No clothes, no bed.". Nakamai gritted her teeth as she stomped across the room, and picked up a, in comparison to herself, super oversized white shirt with black text saying the phrase Master Gamer in the comic sans font. Nakamai shuffled back to the bed before climbing back under the sheat and snuggling up against Temperance's arm. Temperance rolled his eyes and led back down as Nakamai repositioned herself to be more comfortable.
"Victory for Nakamai~," Nakamai murmured cheerfully as she drifted to sleep while Temperance remained perfectly awake in a groggy state.
Meanwhile, in her own dorm room, Kannachi was lying wide awake in her bed with stacks of boxes in the centre of her bedroom. Kannachi excitedly stared at the ceiling with sparkles in her eyes as she rubbed her cheeks.
"Wow~ I can't believe not only did I get to keep all the money we saved for our enrollment fees thanks to Astr- I mean Tem Tem, but I also got a bedroom right next to him," Kannachi remarked giddily as she buried her face under her bedsheets. Kannachi let out a content sigh before she raised a fist to the ceiling with a confident smirk.
"In a week, I'll be his main- wait no I mean... urg I make my declaration when I'm not tired," Kannachi murmured as she rolled onto her side and went to sleep.
