He definitely thought that the entire place would crumble the moment he touched the book. Xane was a bit disappointed it hadn’t. Would have been cool to have to run away in a hurry. The real reason wasn’t because he wanted to ‘accidentally’ drop the book as he ran. Nope.

Since there was no fan fair he reluctantly learned the book by reading it right then and there. Similar to the spell book the book turned faster and faster as he absorbed the knowledge that was written in it until it crumbled to nothing. And he knew how to dance.

He knew what it was all about now and full on regretted his decision. He should have sold it for millions or however much it would have sold for.

“Ok do the dance. I wanna see it. Come on come on come on come on. Now now now.” Her excitement was letting her little trick she pulled on Xane show. He now knew she knew exactly what this dance was all about. She kept on saying “The stat boost are way too good to pass up.” and “usually these dances or rituals are fairly short” and lastly “it can’t be that bad.”

It was ‘that bad’ and she knew it. She could hold in the laughter before he could even begin. Which he was going to do since the stats were good. But only in private. Behind at least 60 walls. Magically reinforced wall.

The dance went as follows. Starts in a standing position arms, arms down, feet pointing towards the sides. Slowly raise up the arms and start to move them in a wave motion. As this happens he bent his knees getting into a crouch. Then needed to start rotating around his hips in a circle. This was only possible do to high dexterity. If he had tried this before coming here he would have fallen over. This step lasted 30 seconds.

The next step was to go back to first position. Bring the wavy arms back and then slide to the right. Slide to the left. Then one hop forward.

The last step was the worst. As he hopped forward he needed to belly flop onto the ground. And then do the worm for 15 seconds.
