The ground used to grow with tons of different kinds of plants, now everything got reduced to nothing, only a black burn left.
Behind the burned ground lies a large fallen tree that got knocked down recently.

A young man with a black hair wipes off the dirt from his shoulder. The action unintentionally tears off his armor and inner shirt. It was already in a terrible state from all the burning and clawing.
In the next secs, a black matter smoke begins coming out from Xiao's body, healing the part where he got burned.
"Alright, back to normal." He looked at his right arm which got burned to charcoal color earlier and was returning to its healthy state.
Standing in front of Xiao was a beast so big that it could easily crush him beneath its feet. An excellent example of an abomination as it has a lion head, a goat head hanging on its back, and a tail made out by a living cobra.
Any adventurer or soldier beneath D rank wouldn't stand a chance killing this monster, and the possibility of running away was close to zero.
Xiao was not an adventurer, and he was only a private rank soldier, which was the lowest rank in the army.
Instead of giving up hope and losing himself in despair, he was grinning, an evil grin that shows he was about to do something inhuman, something that a sane mind wouldn't think of.

Right after Xiao confidently announces his turn to attack, the Chimera lets out a roar to intimidate him. Still, Xiao chuckles instead as if he was excited about what was about to happen.
Follow on, the Chimera concentrates its mana, its belly expands and energy focuses around it.
Xiao instantly reviewed all the action he was going to take in the next few minutes. He didn't activate his Gamer Eyes because he already grasps all the Chimera's attack pattern from all the terrible things it inflicted on him.
Xiao dashes right away the moment the Chimera unleashes all its charged attacks.
Fire, lightning and poison instantly wreak havoc around the place. Any nearby plant either got burned to crisp, turned to ashes or melted away.
The Chimera looks around the place, expecting to see the corpse of its victim, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Reality or in-game, they always left their belly wide open."
The Chimera immediately tranced the voice and found out that Xiao was hiding beneath its body.
Furious by its victim trickery, the Chimera would jump back a little and stomp onto him. Still, before it can do that, Xiao already grabs hold onto its body tightly, for he doesn't plan on letting go.
The Chimera jumps around irritatingly as he tries to get Xiao off its body.
"Would you stop moving around? It's useless, so hurry up and use the attack I expected from you." The Chimera struggle was futile as Xiao continued to stick onto its body like a leech, he was smirking as he teased how pointless the Chimera effort was.
Annoyed and irritated by the foreigner being sticking to its body, the Chimera changed its tactic by using its tail-the cobra to bite off Xiao.
Xiao shows no sign of panic by the cobra assault, his eyes light up with excitement as it was exactly what he predicted the Chimera will do.
The cobra went under its large body, locked on to Xiao, and went in his direction with its jaw wide open.
In the split second before the cobra sinks its venomous fang into Xiao, he let go of its main body which successfully dodges the cobra.
Xiao didn't stop there as he immediately grabbed onto the cobra's body. It was his intention all along to force the cobra to ground level so he could ride on it.
The Chimera gets even more furious. It desperately flings its tail around to force Xiao to let go of it.
Like how Xiao predicted, the Chimera didn't slam its tail-the cobra to the ground because it would risk hurting itself.
Xiao laughs at the Chimera's waste of effort, which results in it swinging its tail harder, jumping around in the process.
Something else was going on, and that was a burning smoke slowly steaming out from Xiao's hand.
He was casting the weakest spell in the Fire Magic category-Fire Seed on both of his hands.
The cobra's skin, which was as hard and thick as steel, slowly steamed out smoke as Xiao was grabbing it.
It didn't take too long before Xiao's hand was on fire due to his spell, which will definitely burn himself if he continues on.
Although the red burning fire already burned Xiao's hand, it didn't even leave a scratch on the cobra's skin.

Without wasting a moment, Xiao uses all his might to thrust his half-broken sword into the cobra's flesh.
The Chimera lets out an agony roar and jumps around in pain, it tries desperately to throw him off.
Not only does Xiao hold firm to its tail, but he also uses the momentum created by the Chimera to slice even deeper into the cobra's flesh.
And finally, Xiao successfully slices off half of the cobra body from the Chimera's main body.
Poison liquid was still spurting out from the lower half of the body, but Xiao jumped off beforehand while holding the cobra's head.
"One down, two to go," Xiao smirks confidently as he looks at the Chimera, enjoying executing all the things he has planned for.
The Chimera growls in anger as if it was going to tear Xiao apart at any moment now.
"What's wrong? Stop whining and come get me already, come on." Xiao smirks and playfully provokes the Chimera as he beckons it, treating it like a dog.
The Chimera went berserk as it charged towards Xiao, leaning its head, which was a lion's head in front as it was planning to sink its fang into his body.
Instead of dodging or running away from the deadly attack, Xiao rushed forward, intentionally closes the distance with the lion.
The lion ended up sinking its fang into something, but it stopped instantly the moment it felt a great pain in its mouth. Something sharp was stuck in its mouth.
The half-broken sword was stuck inside the lion's mouth, which means that Xiao planned to stick it into its mouth the whole time.
Though Xiao did suffer a broken arm from the Chimera's fang, his undying ability quickly kick-starts its effect and heals his arm.
"Yes, yes, I know, it's painful when something is stuck between your teeth, right? But we can have you go biting off people now, can we?" Xiao teases the lion, who was following its instinct to bite him off but kept stopping halfway because of the unbearable pain.
"Hey, I just thought of a great idea, how about a goodbye kiss from your dying friend." Xiao chuckles sinisterly as he plugs the cobra head into the lion's mouth.
The lion quickly flashes out a left swipe to push Xiao away. With his Gamer Eyes activated already, Xiao dodges the deadly claw attack with grace.
The lion proceeds to take the cobra head from its mouth, it tries to reach the sword stuck in its mouth as well but fails to do so.
The lion was with its mouth hanging out now as it prepared another attack. But before it starts charging towards Xiao again, it suddenly stops at its place.
Xiao shows an evil grin as he got the result he wanted.
He sticks the cobra head into the lion's mouth because it was fun to watch and because he wants the poison liquid drooling out from the cobra mouth to enter the lion's body.
The poison that made him suffer so much, he wants the lion to taste its own medicine now.
The lion let out a cry in pain, its entire body was shaking in agony as it fell to the ground, with foams coming out from its mouth.
Xiao casually walked towards the lion, laughing out loud at the miserable state.
In the fit of rage, the Chimera charges up a Fire Breath to retaliate, thinking that Xiao let his guard down.
Xiao with his Gamer Eyes still activating already knew the upcoming attack. Yet, he moves toward the lion, grinning with expectation.
The lion didn't notice that Xiao was carrying the cobra head again, and right before it unleashes its Fire Breath, Xiao sticks the cobra head to its mouth once again.
"You never learn, do you? Well, time to see some chemical reaction."
The Chimera unleashes its Fire Breath even with a cobra head stuck onto its mouth, and the moment the fire comes out from its mouth, Xiao kicks the jaw of the lion with all its might.
The kick resulted in the lion closing its mouth for a split second. Blazing fire burns inside the lion's mouth, but the worst part was what came after that.
The leftover poison liquid on the cobra's mouth went into the lion's body, and the fire that touched the liquid instantly exploded. With a sum of poison liquid inside its body, an exploding chain happened, which ended up bursting out the Chimera's organ from its body.
Xiao knew this would happen as he observed an explosion happen when the poison mist was in contact with fire.
"And now, the little lion is dead." Xiao shows a satisfied smile while looking at the lifeless lion, with its disgusting organ all over the place.
There was still one more life left on the Chimera, which was the goat.
Since the upper body had already stopped moving, the goat could not stand up from the ground with its back leg.
The goat desperately cries as it struggles to move away while Xiao went to the lion's mouth and pull out the sword, which was about to crumble into pieces anytime soon.
Xiao climbed up the Chimera's body and stood on the goat's head.
"Now that your big bro and big sis are already dead, what are you going to do now?" Xiao chuckles as gaze into the goat's eyes.
The goat tries to cast Lightning Strike, but its body's poison has slow the cast duration.
The spell immediately stopped as Xiao pierced the goat's eyes with the sword, which was now reduced to a shard of sharp iron.
The goat cries in extreme agony and shakes around, it looks at Xiao with its other eyes as if it is begging for mercy.
Not only did Xiao ignore its plea, but he was also in trouble with his own matter.
"Ah, Dammit! I forgot to plan a stylish way to kill you, guess I can be careless sometimes too." Xiao rubs his hair, still thinking of a way to kill the goat.
After a while, Xiao stops thinking as he suddenly stabs the goat, causing red blood spurts out, slowly dying the white wool into red color.
"Well, I guess I'll just kill you in the most primitive way, it might consume a lot of time, but that's all I have for you," Xiao says to the goat in a disappointing tone and proceeds to start stabbing it.
Throughout the battle with the Chimera, Xiao was treating everything like his usual video game. A boss to beat, attack pattern to avoid and counter, and the fact that he can always try again if he fails. That's the beauty of a video game. He can always try again and why he prefers playing a video game over doing something else.
The goat continues its agony cries, which echo the wood. No animal dares to trace the sound, and God knows how long the goat suffers its torment until it finally gets relieved from it by dying.
