Xiao stopped in front of a giant boulder. There was a small hole on it that fits a palm, with a slight glow flickering randomly.
Xiao places his hand into the hole. After a while, the boulder shift to the left, revealing a corridor into a cave.
When Xiao first found this cave, he thought that the boulder was just another natural object. Never did he imagine that it got programmed into a door for this cave. Thanks to Xiao's Gamer Eyes, he manages to reprogram it to be only accessible by his palm only.
"Ahh~ Home sweet home," says Xiao as he sniffs coming out from the cave.
As he shifts back the boulder, Xiao travels deeper into the corridor, which automatically lights up from the small lamps attached to the corridor wall.
"I'm home!"
Xiao shouted happily as he placed down all the stuff he was carrying, no one but the wind in the air replied to his heartfelt greeting.
After organizing and storing all the materials he got from his hunting, Xiao took off his armor, high boots and all the equipment on his body. He then went to his closet and changed into a white cotton shirt, a brown khaki pants and a pair of sandals.
"Nothing beats the comfort of home wear."
After changing his clothes, Xiao shifts his focus to the one thing he has been expecting the most, the horn of the black four-eyed stag deer.
"Finally, I can complete that thing."
Xiao carries the horn and excitedly hop to a room that says "Xiao's Workshop" at the door.
This room used to be a mess, with junks and gadgets all jumbled into a pile of trash. Xiao spent at least one day just to finish cleaning and rearrange everything to his liking.
Now, it was the room that gave birth to all the weapons and equipment that Xiao was using.
Not only weapon and armor, the chair, the table, bed, lamp stand, but all the furniture and gadget that was in Xiao's cave was also created in this room.
Although Xiao was good at constructing things when he was still in his old world, he can't make a chair or a sword out of nowhere. It was Xiao's Gamer Eyes that made all of these possible.
Xiao found out about this ability when he tried to analyze the elemental crystal that piles up like a mountain in one of the rooms.
Not only can his Gamer Eyes be used in combat, but they also see the potential of an object, like the nature of it, how it can be used, and the location that can find it.
The eyes' power gives birth to a new ability, which was the ability to draw out the blueprint of the thing Xiao wishes to create, plus listing down the material he needed.
Another factor that made creating stuff possible was the gadget and tools in the cave. From blacksmithing to alchemy, all the equipment Xiao needed to create something was already in this cave, covered in dust by the time Xiao discovered them.
Since Xiao has nothing to do other than hunting for food and wishes to live in a comfy environment. He spent most of his time hunting material and creating lots of stuff that satisfied all his needs.
As a result, the cave used to be a suspicious alchemist workshop turned into a comfy little cave for a hermit. Xiao also carefully labels the cave into sectors and arranges stuff based on it.
The cave has a workshop room, a storage room, a shower room, a small library, a kitchen, a few bedrooms, one being Xiao's room. And finally, the living hall that connects to the corridor that leads outside.
There was one more place in the deeper part of the cave, where the door was sealed with chains and multiple layers of magic barrier. Xiao continues to ignore that place for the time being. He already had his hand full with his own project, plus it did not affect Xiao in any way.
Suppose people from this world visit the cave. They will be amazed by all the furniture and items as they can't be found anywhere because Xiao based everything on his old world.

Xiao was tinkering with the weapon he was excited about. He giggles like a kid who just got candy when he started working on the new material, the stag deer horn.
Just after a few minutes of tinkering, Xiao's stomach starts to growl.
"Shit! I totally forgot about dinner."
Xiao laughs at his own stupidity of getting too excited to finish his new weapon that he forgot about eating. He then walks to the kitchen and starts making his dinner.
Before Xiao came to this world, he learned to cook and master a few recipes from his mother. As long as Xiao has the ingredient, he can cook almost anything into something edible.
"Let's see, today's dinner will be...Spicy Potato Rice!"
Deciding what he was going to cook, Xiao began to prepare the dish. He took out the required spices and the potatoes that he gathered outside.
Xiao was very fond of rice. He spent almost 2 weeks just to find the wheat that produces something similar to the grain he knows.
Since finding all of the spices and wheat took Xiao a lot of time, he decided to clear an open field not far away from his cave to start planting all the samples he gathered.
With the alchemy knowledge that he learned from one of the many books left by the previous owner, Xiao managed to use the elemental crystal to fasten his crops' growth.
After the chopping and the shaving, Xiao lights up the fire under the stove and starts frying the ingredients.
Even the stove and the refrigerator were made by Xiao. All of these were made possible by his Gamer Eyes, the elemental crystal and the alchemy technique he learned from the books.
After finishing cooking the dish, Xiao took out the plate he made and placed it on it. He then puts the finished product on the dining table, takes out a wooden spoon and happily enjoys his dinner.
(Hmm...not bad, I would say, maybe a little more salt will be better. Let's keep that in mind for next time.)
Though Xiao was not picky towards food, he wishes to improve his cooking skill as this was one of the skills taught by his mother. Making sure his mother's recipe turns out to be nice was one of the good ways to remember her.
After finishing his dinner, Xiao just sat on his spot, reminiscing about the past.
Xiao remembers the first few days he started living here. Food was the biggest challenge for him. Though Xiao can't starve to death because of his undying skill, he still feels hungry and the urge to eat.
Nuts and berries were the food source for Xiao in the first few days. It didn't take Xiao long enough to realize that he had to hunt for food. At that time, Xiao started to construct all the weapons and equipment he has now to aid him in hunting.
"I really come a long way, can't believe I'm already proficient in dealing with animal meat. Human adaptation really is something." Xiao laughs as he remembers the time he bought back a rabbit. He nearly vomited when he was about to cut open its meat.
Xiao brought the plant to the sink to wash it, which was made from clay and stone. The source of water was from the river not far away from Xiao's cave.
Even the water from the bathroom was also coming from the river. Xiao connected the river water to flow freely into the water tank that he built.
Xiao took a hot bath after cleaning up the kitchen. Xiao uses the fire and earth elemental crystal to build the heater. When water comes in, it will go through the fire elemental crystal first, then the earth elemental crystal. It stabilizes the temperature before the water exits the showerhead.
The hot bath washes away all the fatigue on Xiao's body. With a rejuvenated feeling, Xiao decided to push through and finish building the weapon today.
With immense focus and a plate of nuts to keep him energized, Xiao finally finishes building the weapon.
Xiao dances around the room, excited that he has once again built something unique. He wishes to share his happiness with someone else, to let others know that he too can do something special. Still, like always, only the air replied to his joyful moment.
"YAWN~."
Xiao yawned while he put down his newly built weapon. The immense focus and adrenaline rush to complete the weapon start to wear off, and Xiao begins to feel drowsy.
Xiao lightly tidies up his workshop before heading to his bedroom.
Just as Xiao was about to call it a day and went to sleep, he took a knife and carved a stroke on a wall. This was the 32nd stroke Xiao has carved, meaning that he had stayed in this cave for 32 days already.
"With that done, time to sleep."
Xiao turns the knob on the small lamp stand beside his bed, and the room slowly turns dark as the light goes out.
Usually, Xiao will be asleep already in just a few seconds, but today, he was still wide awake.
(Shit, I still can't sleep. I must have gotten too excited to test out the new weapon capability.)
Xiao tries to shift his sleeping position to get himself into sleep. At the same time, his mind begins to wander aimlessly. He started to think about his old world, about the people there, about the funeral of his family.
(Will grandpa and grandma handle the funeral? They must hate me to the guts by now.)
Xiao's mind then thinks of his school life and the friends he used to have. The ordinary life where he would waste his time fooling around with friends and playing video games to his heart content.
(How carefree of them worry about homework, love and relationship, and their future career, whereas I need to worry about whether I can secure my food and my survival.)
Realizing his mind was drifting further and further away, Xiao pulled his thoughts back to reality and focused on tomorrow.
(But for now, let's just sleep and save the excitement for tomorrow.)
