"Tell me everything you know about the armor" Sarah said to Anton. "you've forgotten more than most will ever know"
"well, alright" Anton said, Sarah slipping her arm around his neck where she sat in his lap.
"I guess we have a few hours until kate gets back, and I really ought to have wrote a report or research paper or something over this-" Anton began to say before being cut off.
"get on with it already" Sarah interrupted.
"I will tolerate that because you look cute right now" Anton said before re-righting his train of thought.
"Alright, no stupid questions, don't interrupt me" he said, leaning back into a more comfortable position.
"the Mark two Generation eight-" He started.
"Why did they call it mark two? why not just continue with the generations?" Sarah interrupted.
Anton said nothing, and lifted his left hand, and pinched her right nipple with his thumb and forefinger, using the pinch point of his knuckle how Kate had showed him.
"I told you not to interrupt me" Anton said, ignoring the squeal from Sarah, but admiring how her entire body blushed as he kept pressure with his fingers.
"Okay I get it, let go!" Sarah said, squirming slightly under his grip.
"good" Anton said, releasing his grip, but still holding it in his left thumb and forefinger massaging it slightly.
"Where was I" He asked softly.
"Generation eight" she replied.
"ahh, yes" He said, palming her entire right breast with is right hand.
"The mark two generation eight Enhanced Combat Apparel armored exoskeleton system has a outer layer of Ultra High Hardness armor steel covered in a coating of Line-x for spall resistance. The coating on the back of the outer plates consists of a combination of D3O for impact spreading and Kevelar for shrapnel and penetration resistance"
Sarah raised her right hand.
"yes?" he asked, pausing movement with his left hand where he sat idly massaging her chest.
"why don't we use titanium or tungsten carbide for the armor pieces?" she said, wincing preemptively for a reaction from Anton.
"That wasn't a stupid question, good job" He said. "anyways, it's because they're too hard. Sure, they can stop the bullet as the Vickers hardness of tungsten is like three hundred and ten, but repeated hits will cause the material to shatter." He said, dropping his hand to his stomach.
"In fact, the Russians in world war two hardened the hull armor of their T-34's to like 600 Brinell, which had the opposite effect and would either crack on a penetrating hit or spall on a non penetrating hit" Anton said, nodding.

"You see comrade, bigger number mean more protection" Sarah said in a mock Russian accent.
They both giggled for a moment, stopped, then locked eyes again and started it back up before stopping after half a minute or so.
"You know, you can keep touching them, it's soothing" Sarah told Anton after a lapse of silence.
"Kate says the same thing believe it or not" He replied, doing as she bid.
"Anyways, the Rear Main Plate locks into the legs and gives everything up top something to hang off of, as it contains a spinal like structure and hinges at multiple places." He said
Sarah leaned against him, and relaxed a bit more as she laid her head against his chest.
"It also provides a large surface area for heat dissipation from the reactor or the cold cells, depending on which you select." Anton said.
"Which did you choose and why?" Sarah asked.
"Cold cells, I like the adaptability and increased burst power output, and I don't mind the upkeep" He said, "you?" He asked.
"molten salt fast reactor, I like the redundancy, don't mind the decreased output in colder environments" She said. "What'd Kate choose?" she asked.
"Low output tuned cold cells, she's a sniper, she doesn't really move much, and she can always use her cloak's solar power to top them up" he said shrugging.
"Is it true that Triple A still uses the lithiums?" Sarah asked.
Anton laughed. "Hell yes, walking bomb, those high capacity lithium cells have INSANE energy density and output, but they've got shit for redundancy or saftey, if one cell decides to take a smoke break, your entire rear main is in thermal runaway" he said.
"jesus" Sarah said.
"Well, the rear main plate holds the central computer, as well as the medical suite, filtration and waste recycling systems. The latter two of which provide complete liquid absorption through the Life Support Suit, and the solid waste and dirt gets moved to the recycler to get either wasted or turned into clotting fluid" Anton said.
"Really?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah, it's made for complete self reliance, with the exception of the meds, you can go a century without anything being added to the ECA but your bodily waste and it'll function perfectly fine" He replied.
"Well, it uses what's left of the solid waste to replenish the dual use clotting and cooling fluid, which can also be consumed as a protein shake of sorts, as it has a bunch of calories" Anton said.
Sarah raised her hand.
"yes?" Anton asked.
"I think that's enough about the armor, what about you" she said.
"Me, what about me?" He asked.
"Like what makes you so special? Why are you a series Alpha and I'm a series Bravo?" she asked, gesturing to him, then herself.
"ah, okay" he replied, taking her left nipple gently between his fingers, rubbing softly, feeling her squirm under the stimulation.
"I'm an A series because I met the stature requirements for the enhanced muscle mass and bone structure injections, besides that, I'm the same as you" he told her.
"I see, so that rage thing as just a hoax" she asked him.
"Oh, that? Yeah, we got that, but it only lasts a century or so before you have to get it again, and they stopped offering it"
"didn't a few A series die because of it?" She asked, looking up at him and repositioning her right hand to atop her left thigh.
"Yeah a few did, they stopped offering it because of that" Anton said.
"anything else you want to know?" Anton asked.
"No, i think that about answers it all" she said, scooting a bit up and closer to him.
In turn, he rolled to the right a bit, wrapping his right hand around her, putting it on the right side of her lower back.
"what was the longest you ever spent in the armor?" Sarah asked.
"two years eight months ten days" Anton said without skipping a beat.
"wow, why?" she asked.
"it was wartime after the Vorhut sunk, and I was stationed on the Schattenwulf doing a bunch of back to back deployments." Anton said.
"How'd you sleep?" She asked.
"We slept mostly during the ride to and from, I maintained a seven to eight hour average" he said, nodding. "wasn't really that bad"
"where were you during all this?" he asked.
"I was at double oh one doing hotshot transportation protection" she replied.
"say, It's been a while since I've seen doctor Raine" he said, "and even longer since I've been to double-oh-one"
"I've always wanted to meet the woman who made me and my favorite people" she said, smiling at him.
The instant the words left her mouth, the phone rang.
"You know, you're one hell of a good luck charm"
