In the forest away from Lyonhall.
“JAKARI NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! How did those ugly pieces of trash seduce my little Jakari!” cried Kari. “Why did my little Jakari hide them from me!?” She was also telling her husband all that she saw and heard.
“What! Jakari is already married to 8 different women!” aghasted his father. “Maybe he is shaping up to be like you, after all, Kari.”
“It shouldn’t be possible! I always taught my little Jakari to only seek one true love and one true wife! Someone must have tricked him!” exasperated Kari.
“Perhaps it's best to leave it as such,” sighed Jay. “I didn’t expect my son to form a harem on his 1st day as an adventurer.”
“NOOOOOOOOO! We must investigate the truth behind their sham marriage,” determined Kari.
Jay gave Kari that look and she instantly knew what he meant. It was telling her to go investigate but don’t destroy Jakari’s dream of being an adventurer. The two parents soon went their way. Jay went back to take care of their 14-year-old daughter while Kari went to visit the Lyonhall guildhall incognito.
In the guildhall, Jakari, Kari, and the gray-hooded necromancer were all in here.
Jakari was currently turning in the special guild request before resuming to do more wood-ranked quests with his army of young snaggers and guild lackeys helping him.
Kari had snuck into the backroom of the guildhall. She was currently sitting on top of a cloud floating down the hallways. One of the male guild staff walking by saw her impeccable beauty and fell deeply in love with her. Before he could react, a thick white cloud had ensnared his body and mouth to stop him from moving and talking, his feet were lifted off the ground as well.
“Did the guild finalize the marriage between Jakari and his wives?” asked Kari.
The cloud sealing his mouth dissipated allowing him to speak. “Do you mean Jacari? He got married to 8 women. I will bring you the papers at once my lady!” He stopped caring about the guild’s proper protocol and wanted to serve this beautiful lady! It was public knowledge that everyone knows his harem of 8 beauties anyway so it wouldn’t hurt to show this mysterious woman the evidence.
He quickly brought up the marriage document and showed it to Kari. She skimmed it over and saw that 7 of the women had the same last name! “Why do these 7 women have the same last name? Who are they!?”
“I don’t know. The guild-master told us to do it.” confessed the man.
“Where does he live!” demanded Kari.
“He lives in the biggest mansion in town. It sho-”
Kari had already left. The man had a white cloud forming on his head, his memories of what just happened were promptly erased and all he could remember was a feeling of pure bliss. He quickly resumed his guild duties as if nothing had happened.
Kari flew on her cloud as fast as she could to the biggest mansion in town. The 2 guards outside barely had a chance to react as thick white clouds had formed on their heads, blocking out their vision, hearing, and smell while suffocating them to deep sleep. The white clouds formed on the entrance and pushed the door open for Kari as she flew. All the servants were not able to react in time as this high-diamond ranked adventurer had bound and suffocated all the servants in a near-instant, putting them all to deep sleep.
Rather than waste her time any further, she used her light magic to create an illusion over the entire mansion, making it look like nothing was happening to the outside spectators. Meanwhile, the thick white cloud had flooded the entire mansion, suffocating everyone inside into a deep sleep. Only 1 person was spared as the clouds didn’t affect him and he was one of the silver-ranked security guards.
Light magic and cloud magic were Jakari’s mother's specialties.
Kari ordered, “bring the guild-master here at once or you can all suffer an agonizing death. Don’t think you can ever escape me!”
A small piece of white cloud was firmly attached to his body, hidden underneath his clothes. He could feel that if he tried to escape or betray her in any way, he would meet an untimely death. He was creaking in extreme fear at this powerful lady.
“YES!” complied the security guard as Kari threw him out of the mansion forcibly.
The security guard ran as fast as he could to the guildhall and into the guild master's office. He rudely interrupted him, “guild-master Blaze! There is an emergency at the mansion that requires your utmost attention! The underworld leader’s representative is here!”
“WHAT! I will be there at once.”
When the guild-master approached his mansion, he noticed the 2 security guards were sleeping on the ground but nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary. Only when he stepped inside with the silver-ranked security guard that he saw that his entire mansion was flooded with a white foamy-looking thing. The silver-ranked security guard beside him was affected by this white foamy thing and instantly collapsed to the floor. He was stunned and was about to make a run for it before a voice had frozen him in place.

“You dare misspelled my son’s name, attempt to blackmail him, bribe him, honey-pot him, and make him bleed for the first time in his life!!” raged Kari. “Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to quell my rage. Suffer.”
While Kari was waiting for the guild-master, several of the servants had willfully told her everything that transpired here.
The guild master was unable to use any skills or ability as this mysterious white cloud binding him wouldn’t allow him. He wasn’t able to scream out either as his mouth was covered by white clouds. Suddenly the clouds all attacked him from all possible angles, including inside his body as the white clouds forcibly made their way inside him. Excruciating pain could be felt all over his body as every nerve in his body was sending him the maximum pain. He wanted to die so badly but he couldn’t as the white clouds didn’t allow him to die but only to suffer in silence. This one second of pain was so agonizing that even if you condense his entire lifetime of suffering to this one second, it would barely scratch the surface of the intense pain he was currently feeling.
It was only one minute of agonizing torture but to the guild master, it felt like he suffered for 100 years straight. After this ordeal, the guild master didn’t want to refute, negotiate, or escape from this terrifying lady. He became a dog who could only obey his master’s orders, it was a million times better to give up everything to appease this person.
“Listen well. I want you to fix my son’s name. Dissolve his sham marriage. And you are to give him all of your money. I mean all of it! If you’re not able to sell everything you own within 5 minutes, I will put you into eternal misery,” threatened Kari.
“YES MASTER!” shouted the guild master with such unbelievable ferocity. He became a crazed man who only wanted one thing, it was to do everything possible to never experience such excruciating pain ever again. His status, power, money, none of it even mattered to him anymore.
The thick white cloud that flooded the mansion had completely dissipated. Everyone had conveniently lost their memories and resumed their duties as if nothing had happened. The crazed guild master was barking orders at everyone to sell everything he own and to give all his money to sir Jakari right away! All of the hairs on his head had fallen out as he was desperate to complete the demands that the terrifying lady imposed on him.

Inside Lyonhall’s guildhall.
The hooded-gray necromancer saw his sisters all smiley and happy at the guildhall. Their father would always forbid his sister from ever leaving the mansion so he was stumped at what was going on! His sisters were currently sitting together at the restaurant having fancy food serve to them. They wouldn’t know what he would look like as he had altered his face to be unrecognizable to them and their corrupt father.
He ran away from home when he was 10 years old, vowing to kill their corrupt father and free all his sisters as the proper authorities had failed them. It was a long 5 years tough and enduring training he went through to become a high-gold ranked self-taught genius necromancer. Everything was for their sake. He should be happy that his sisters were able to experience a moment of happiness but felt angry that somebody else took the glory from him. He sacrificed everything for the sake of power, he never once killed any innocent person as he wasn’t on the bounty list. In fact, he even took one disciple who was a silver-ranked necromancer pretending to be a bronze-ranked necromancer. One of his undead mice in the town had already informed him that he was currently in the guild’s jail. This disciple was completely despicable as he had killed many innocent people in the pursuit of his necromancy, unlike him who killed nobody. The disciple was supposed to be his fall guy for the zombie invasion while he gets away free while killing his corrupt father. But this diamond-ranked guild inspector just had to choose today to visit and even put him in jail already! It was truly infuriating that everything was falling apart but he would not let it deter him from his ultimate goal of murdering his corrupt father!
When the hooded necromancer saw Melissa. He so badly wanted to reconnect with her as she was the sister he was the closest with. He saw how her eyes were so dreamy while looking at Jakari, it only enraged him further that this despicable and shameless person had laid his hands on Melissa! He almost blew his cover and was about to summon his 3 high-gold ranked zombies to attack this evil man to save his sister. But he was the corrupt diamond-ranked guild inspector so there was nothing he could do. He would only jeopardize saving his other sisters that were currently locked inside their corrupt father’s mansion.
His undead mice had informed him that the guild master had left the guildhall and ran back home. Since his fall guy to take the full blame for his crimes was already in jail and his zombie invasion distraction ploy wasn’t going to work anymore. Since he didn’t want to delay his rescue efforts anymore. He had no choice but to charge directly into the mansion.
As he approached the mansion, he saw many servants carrying expensive goods out of the mansion, it greatly confused him. Many of the locals surrounding the mansion were greedily buying up all the luxurious goods at an extreme discount as the guild master had to sell everything within 5 minutes, even if he had to sell it at a loss for 1 copper coin for items worth tens of gold coins! (Note: 1 gold coin = 1,000,000 copper coins)
The hooded necromancer made his way inside the mansion with none of the servants caring about some random stranger entering inside. He saw his corrupt father who was now bald becoming even more agitated by the second as he struggled to sell everything he owned. It was purely confusing but it gave him the greatest chance to kill him as he was heavily distracted. It was also the perfect opportunity as the corrupt diamond-ranked guild inspector was still at the guildhall. He summoned his 3 strongest undead which was the 3 high-gold ranked adventurers.
One of them was an undead high-gold ranked adventurer specializing in using throwing stars. He threw out nearly 30 deadly shadowy poisonous ninja stars at the guild-master.
The 2nd undead was a high-gold ranked adventurer who uses an umbrella as a weapon. He made a near-instantaneous charge to thrust the sharp point of his umbrella into the guild master's heart.
The 3rd undead was a high-gold-ranked adventurer who uses druid types of magic. She cast a deadly undergrowth of poisonous vines that grew from the ground and rapidly increase in length as it went forward to bind the guild-master.
Normally the guild-master wouldn’t let this shady hooded necromancer this close to him and allow him to summon his 3 powerful undead to attack him. If the guild-master wasn’t been tormented by the cloud magic lady from before, he would have already gotten his security team to surround this suspicious person and would pull out his great sword to deal with this threat but the punishment of suffering intensely under the extreme cloud magic made him completely unaware of what was happening until it was too late.
The guild-master saw the 3 powerful undead making a direct attack on him and it was too late to avoid them. His knees failed him as he collapsed onto the ground, he gave a wry smile as he soon accepted his death. Death was a better option than being alive and letting the cloud magic lady torment him after all.
