=====Chap23=====
--3rd person POV
3 hours ago, the Bodies had separated, with each one of them having a clear destination.
The first one was Bob, running with neck breaking speed towards the nearby arena to participate in a tournament.
Could a person just sign in and fight immediately?
Why of course, however, they must be on time.
The Annual Free Tournament is one where warriors of all races and tribes fight against each other for the top.
If it were to be compared, it would be a duel-less duel, thus gaining the Free in its name.
Another reason on why the tournament is popular is due to betting.
Thus, Bob went ahead and bet a whole gold coin on himself in the first round, with the permission of Archillies.
Luckily for Bob, it was the first day of the tournament, thus he joined the preliminaries.
The first rounds were for weeding out the bad from good, using a 20 person free-for-all battle royale.
The total participants are a 100, and the last 3 standing will be able to continue fighting.
Bob, being in the third group, had enough time on his hand, so he went to the spectators’ seats.
A tall, well featured, blond long haired woman appeared with a pseudo-microphone, and started riling up the crowds with eloquent words.
According to her own introduction, her name is Fiona, and as Bob looked closer, he could see pointy ears peek out of her hair once in awhile.
After introducing herself, warriors started pouring out of the gates, each looking mighty and powerful, while some waved at the crowds.
Finally separating well, Bob started manipulating the mana in his ‘Eyes’ to allow him to see in a wider view, to not miss the fighter’s abilities.
Strangely, a man wielding two scimitars went to the middle of the arena, which is a no-go if one wishes to have a higher chance of surviving.
With a countdown from 3 to START, the battleground was covered in dust in an instant, with warriors pushing the ground to dash at their targets, while others hid in the corners to try and survive through.
4 people targeted the scimitar-wielding man, however, with a body clad in magic, and now flaming swords, he readied his stance and took them head-on.
One the first person clashed with him, the crowd's cheers were louder, as he easily parried off the thrust of his opponent’s dagger.
Jumping upwards, he dodged the second man’s attack with an axe, and made use of his position in the air by stepping with great force on the axe-wielding man’s head.
He fell face first into the sandy ground, unmoving.
Finally away from the center, the man ran towards a nearby woman hiding in the shadows.
Noticing that she failed, she took out dual daggers, and observed her opponent, however, he was too quick for her, an Assassin class that specializes in speed, and hit her neck with the pommel, making her fall on her knees then her face.
On the other side, 13 people were already defeated in less than 3 minutes.
Everyone who wasn’t in a battle took their distance and searched for their prey, then dashed at each other.
Many of the participants were wary of the scimitar man, so they targeted each other instead, as to have a higher chance in surviving the round.
Noticing that they avoided him, he started chanting something, then golems raised from the sand came to.
Ordering them to rampage as they see fit, while not killing anyone, two of them dashed at the closest fighter, and other 4 golems went towards the rest.
The commentator’s words were like fuel added on top of firewood, heating up the cheers with every word.
Contrary to their appearance, the golems were quick, and if they missed, would use their affinity to the earth to slow down their opponents, or even directly hit them.
Once the fighters fell down to 4, they looked into each other’s eyes, with a flame burning in them.
‘Just fall already’, their faces was more than enough to transmit their thoughts.

In a deadlock, the scimitar man sighed, and dashed at the nearby fighter.
The other two stood away from each other, observing the battle that was about to take place, while being vigilant of each other.
“Raaaaah”
They both made their war cries, as their swords clashed together.
It looked as if the scimitar man was being pushed down, however, the flaming swords did their job, melting the opponent’s weapon and quickly reached for his throat.
The man recognized his defeat, and raised both of his arms in a surrendering manner, thus ending the first battle.
Bob gathered many new abilities, or raised the level of the pre-existing ones.
With the second battle starting in 2 hours, Bob went outside of the arena, looking for anything to waste his time with, while being useful..
….
Larry and Henry did not have any destination in mind, until they saw some shady-looking people walk into an alley.
As if reading each other’s mind, they activated ‘Sneak’, and followed them suit, to find an iron door with a slide at eye level.
-Knock Knock
Knocked Henry, and the slide opened, showing someone wearing a mask.
“Password?”
Without care, Larry thrust its hands to touch the man’s head, then used mind magic.
He stood, motionless, then opened the door with dead fish-like eyes.
Entering as if it was the norm, they passed through a hall, then went downstairs, reaching a theater-like place.
Many people wearing masks were present, be it for the eyes only, or the whole face, or half of it (which is useless), all of them had a greedy aura to them.
After taking a mask from the distributer, each of them sat at a chair, on its right arm was a sign with a number.
10 Minutes later, the curtains finally opened, showing a woman dressed in chinese exposing clothes holding a pseudo microphone.
Introducing herself, and the auction, the goodies finally came from the backstage.
Firstly, 5 gray potions were shown on top of a table, which the host described as ‘Increase all physical stats by 5’.
In short, an elixir.
Many of those with masks that don’t cover their mouths had greedy smiles plastered on, while others didn’t care.
“The bid will start with 10 gold coins!”
“10 golds and 1 copper!”
“10 golds and 2 coppers!”
“10 golds and 5 coppers!”
Each person shouted, slowly but steadily raising the price.
The Bodies were no different, however, since this is an illegal auction, they decided to steal everything in it after the auction has ended, since they won’t give away the items in the middle.
Many items such as Magic Weapons and Enchanted Weapons were shown, selling for hundreds and hundreds of golds, and finally, the final item came.
Slaves.
Since Archillies doesn’t agree with the idea of slavery, the Bodies don’t too, as such, Larry made use of ‘Map’ while sneaking around to find the rooms, and Henry was on standby.
Once Larry had a full map of the underground, they commenced an attack by using an ‘Explosion’ midair.
Many people were afraid, and started evacuating, allowing Larry and Henry to start their operation ‘Raid The Auction’.
Henry, who was closer to the slaves, started removing their collars, whilst Larry was raiding the storeroom.
Many enchantments were on the items, so that if they were stolen, they would track them down using the enchantments.
After deactivating them, Larry stored all the goodies with ease inside the ‘Pocket Dimension’, and left without the guards who were searching for him noticing.
With Henry giving away stock clothes taken from the monsters, they escorted the slaves outside..
….
John and James did their usual work, play pranks on people.
However, due to their Bodies being large, they can’t float around and flip skirts anymore, on the other hand, they could do more hardcore mischief.
Going around and looking for thieves and the like, they used telekinesis to pull their pants off, trip them, then humiliate them by laughing.
Until they saw the golden opportunity.
A fat man dressed in extremely expensive clothing, walking around with 5 bodyguards was looking around with eyes targeting many females.
“I want ‘this’ girl at my room tonight.”
He pointed his finger at a… child?
His dirty smirk was enough proof to show that he has terrible fetishes, and that was as good as it can be for the Bodies’ mischief to be considered a good thing.
Due to some pebbles existing in the alleys, they slowly carried them with telekinesis in front of the fat man’s foot, then stuck it there.
Walking with arrogance, he couldn’t see the small pebble in front of him, making him trip with a weird face.
Just before he falls, a bodyguard tried to hold him, but his hand moved downwards, pulling on the man’s pants as he fell face first into the ground.
Laughter resounded in the streets, while the people who weren’t stared at those who did with ‘You shouldn’t have done that..’ face.
The fat man groaned, as the bodyguards helped him up.
“Are you okay, Prince Rowald?”
His face was red from anger, his blond hair was dusted.
He looked at the laughing people with bloodshot eyes and shouted.
“Don’t just stand there, apprehend them!”
The cliché ‘bad guy’ words were said, making 3 out of the 5 bodyguards go and ‘Make example of those who mess with them’.
Or so they thought, until the alley which they were heading to exploded.
Since they could do nothing about it, they went on to ‘punish’ those who humiliated the prince, however, they soon found themselves stepped on.
The prince saw what happened with his eyes wide open, making him panic.
“Hiii!”
He screamed like a girl as he stepped back in horror at the sight of the magnificent display of power.
Run! Is what he thought, yet, his body didn’t respond.
The Bodies having had their fill of mischief turned away with smiles plastered on their faces.
In mere 3 hours, the Bodies had more fun than Archillies did ever since he came.
That is, in fact, a fact.
