It all started off as a fallen seed.
Soon enough, I was stuck in an animal’s fur, until we reached a forest.
At that time, a large, gray-scaled dragon, possibly a wyvern, snatched my carrier off the ground.
Now we are flying over a volcano, which looked dormant, but suddenly it exploded, hurling near-molten rocks at us with high speed.
Unable to evade the rock, it came right at me, pushing me through the poor animal’s skull, then through the wyvern’s heart.
Due to the strong blast, I was sent flying through the clouds, soon passing through the atmosphere.
It was dark and cold, but the sunlight warmed me pretty quickly.
I kept floating, soon to land on the moon.
Strange microorganisms started approaching me, but soon it was absorbed.
Before I could settle and grow my roots, a meteor struck, sending fragments of different metals towards me.
Thankfully, none of them hit me, but they gathered around me, to further nurture my growth.
With my roots planted, a large(for my size) white orb approached me, to be absorbed sooner or later.
Nothing else occurred for the rest of the day, as I calmly deepened my roots in the soil, to grow further more..
…
This seed had a pretty exciting life, I thought to myself.
The recap took about 3 minutes, all this time I was clinging to Rain.
Feeling embarrassed, I slowly let her go, then urged her up.
“Where are we going?”
She asked, while tilting her head.
Cute, I thought, but poker face held itself firm this time.
-Ding!
“Poker face has reached Lv50.”
No wonder it became so strong.
Anyhow, I had to answer her, so I did.
“We are going to get you some clothes, can’t have you naked all the time, no?”
She looked at herself, then at me, then had the expression that says ‘Oh..’.
With that, we got on our way to the city, while enjoying the sweet aroma of nature..
…
We are back at the gates, and the guards let us in easily, since they know my face.
My first destination was the Adventurer’s guild, but I didn’t know what to do with her once we enter.
Actually, I soon tossed that thought into the trash, since no one will try to annoy us.
I took her hand, albeit feeling a big embarrassed, and went inside, then showed the card to the receptionist.
After confirming that the quest is done, she removes it off my list, then gave me a bag of 25 golds.
Not much, you might think.
In actuality, 15 gold is enough to let a person live a life comfortably for years, not including clothing.
Anyways, I took it without asking, then got out.
I could feel a few eyes on the bag, and others on the oblivious Rain, but they soon averted it once they saw my face.
Next up was the tailor!
I learned a bit from the book, but practical is always the best, no?
Then it struck me.
Couldn’t I use the gained ability ‘Summon Object’, to get books from Earth?
I’ll do so after buying some fabrics, then create the clothes for rain myself.
Due to the effect of items being x10 better in my hands, handmade objects will come out x10 better than normal, no?
I entered the shop and I was greeted by an old-looking man, with a good business smile.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
“Welcome to George’s Fabrics, how could I help you?”
“Do you have some rolls of Spider Silk?”
“Yes of course, each roll costs 5 silvers.”
“Give me 10, and do you know where I could get some sewing tools?”
“We have that too, for 50 coppers.”
“Alright, let me see the items first.”
“Yes yes.. Give me a second, sir.”
He went off the counter and went into the storage room(?), then came back with them two minutes laters.
10 rolls of Spider silk, and I inspected their quality one by one, showing that they were of at least Above Average quality.
Next was the sewing kit, which I inspected thoroughly, and found nothing rusted or in bad shape.
I gave the man a gold, then he gave me 49 silvers and 50 coppers, but I decided to leave the coppers as a tip.
He gave me his thanks, and I gave him his, then I left the store.
Feeling like I’m forgetting something, I remembered that I needed to get something from the general store, but Rain stopped me.
“Rain? What’s the matter?”
She didn’t answer, and looked at something inside the tailor store.
I matched my eyesight with hers, and I could see a dress.
It was white, with blue stripes here and here, just at the right length for Rain.
Feeling a bit generous, I entered the shop once again, and ordered for the dress, to find out that it costs a gold.
I could make a couple of that dress using the fabric at a lower cost, but at the end, her eyes won over me, and I lost another gold.
She came out of the dressing room, looking as beautiful as ever with her matching long white hair and blue eyes.
We went out of the shop once again, and I had my jacket back on.
This time, our destination was the general shop, since I wanted to get a tent.
A 20 silvers, hurray!
I walked and answered questions as the excited Rain couldn’t stop asking.
My last destination was the blacksmith, this time since I want to make my own weapons.
I went inside and bought 20 Silver bars, then borrowed the smithy.
As I melted the bars, my blood boiled, feeling excited to make my own items.
…
After this and that happened, I finally made a sword, a shield, a longsword, a greatsword, a scythe, two small scythes, a spear, a staff, and finally a quarterstaff.
Too much weapons?
Nah…
Variety is the best.
Leaving after paying two more golds, I was one step further to leaving.
One last thing I needed was food.
I went to the butchery, and bought about 100 kilos of Meij meat, then went to the Plants shop, and bought a 100 kilos of every available vegetable and fruit, totaling up to 5 golds.
With that, I had nothing else to get, since water can be brought using water magic, and left the city from the north.
With Rain in hands, and personality-having arms, I took a step outside, with a clear goal in mind..
…
-3 Days later.
Currently, my destination is an economic town near the borders called Juvaila.
At our current pace, it will take 6 more days to reach, but I’m not in a rush.
It is enjoyable spending time with the charming Rain, and the mischievous Arms.
I clearly instructed them to not annoy Rain, which they have done obediently up until now.
Every day goes as follows :
We walk for a while and sightsee as much as possible, then once we get hungry, we go off-road and prepare food.
Somehow, Rain is pretty good cook, and Henry helps her, so it comes out tasty.
Once the night comes, we set up camp, and sleep together, at Rain’s request, even though I bought two tents.
On our first night, I summoned books about various things, mechanics, science, you name it, and ‘Read’ them all.
Once I got the way to make comfortable women underwear, I got into making immediately, since I do not want to sleep with a naked beneath the dress Rain.
Well… that sentence isn’t fully correct, but it is all about morals, and I’m all about them.
After I got her to try them, and they fit perfectly, I sighed in relief, and started sewing her some casual and outdoors clothes, and dyed them with various colours that match her looks.
Midways, she fell asleep without me knowing, and I just continued on making clothes until I finished the first roll.
Still in the mood, I took out the second one, and started making some clothes for myself.
After making about 3 sets per type, I stopped my spree, and went off to relieve myself behind the bushes.
It was about 5:45 AM, so I had a lot of time.
As for the bored Arms, they were just sitting there.
Then I thought..
Why not let them go and exterminate some monsters and bring me their loot.
They got up with some amazing vigor, while I started manipulating my new skill tree.
It sat on the moon, just like the story went, so I could tell that it was pretty sturdy.
I looked at the first skill, and it was called ‘Space Breath’, which allows me to breath in space and underwater, at the cost of MP, of course.
The rest were all bonuses to abilities so there was nothing notable except me learning new psychic abilities as mind magic.
For example, ‘Empath’ allows me to hear other people’s thoughts, but it will get incredibly annoying in large crowds.
Another notable thing was the ability to see and recognize souls.
Speaking about souls, how is my ‘Ring’ doing?
I used inspect on it, and it told me that 43 souls were currently stored inside, producing a net worth of 124 MP/s.
Oh, the souls increased by one, giving me 4 more MP per second.
Anyhow, I close off the description and continue unlocking this huge, seemingly unending tree, until I reached a few ‘Repeatable’ skills, this time increasing the power and decreasing the cost of the ability tied to skill by 1% each time.
I decided to do it 10 times for every Skill, since I had an abundance of them leftover from Isabelle’s, Grovan’s and the Direwolves’ battles.
The last skill was called ‘Unlock Memories’, and it’s description said :
‘By gaining access to high leveled mind magic, you will be able to unlock your ancestral memories.’
I sat there, pondering for a while until I decided not to.
Why?
Well, there is a chance those memories might allow one of my ‘Ancestors’ to take over me, so I decided not to.
This time, I went to see if the original tree could ‘Bear Fruit’ once again, but sadly, there was a one month cooldown period.
In the meantime, I tested myself using the new, strong weapons and turns out that my body was adapted to their techniques just like when I fought barehanded.
Since I had sweat a lot, I went behind a tree, floated, washed myself after putting away my school clothes, then wore one of the self-made ones.
It was a black t-shirt with jeans-like pants.
I even put pockets in the pants, so I felt proud.
Nothing else happened that day, and we continued in this repetitive style up until now.
Maybe repetitive is not so bad after all..
