------------
In the world of Arun, in the Lunaria Continent in the Rigel Kingdom, a young prince was born. He neither cried nor breathed in his first moment out of the womb. After a few minutes, he took his first breath and cried very loudly.
Mother held the babe in her arms; he looked frail and fragile, as if a simple kiss would destroy that baby’s adorable face.
The babe grew, and soon he could walk. He was curious of everything and cried when he was hungry. But alas, his frailty persisted. As he walked, it was his watching mother's constant fear that he would fall and hurt himself.
This made his family that much more concerned about the welfare of the youngest.
Another year passed, and the baby seemed different. He no longer looked at things curiously, but rather, he saw things as if he feared them. Whenever his parents held him, he would freeze and his face would pale, as if he had seen a ghost.
The troubled family called for a physician to examine him. The boy ran from the physician upon meeting him and hurt himself by tripping onto the floor.
The boy cried from the pain as his frail body experienced firsthand a new kind of sensation. The physician ran to the boy and healed him with his magic. The boy’s cries disappeared and his curious look returned.
Seeing that the boy was alright, the physician explained to the parents that the boy was healthy, but was simply shy. This eased the parents somewhat, and a feeling of normalcy returned.
After that incident, the boy could be seen in the library, reading books about magic. When asked, the boy said that he could understand it. The parents were shocked that their child could do this and forbade him from doing so again. They were simply scared of losing sight of their frail and weak son.

But the boy continued studying, and so they had him take the lessons that a prince ought to learn.
The boy cried often, as his teacher was stern and cruel. She was an old hag that seemed to take pleasure in punishing little boys. There were guards nearby, of course, for the king and queen couldn’t bear for their son to be hurt.
The boy’s siblings would also play with him at times. They would also help him in his studies. His brothers often took him with them to hunt wild animals near their castle. His sisters would dress their brother in many different clothes whenever they could. Sometimes all the siblings would play childish pranks on their servants.
It was all in good fun, but as the children matured, their parents became harsher toward them. But their youngest son was spared the strictness.
A few years have passed and he was now five. The child was ready to undertake his affinity test. He was excited, as the physician’s cure was the reason that he spend his early childhood learning all that he could of magic.
In fact, the very reason that he suddenly changed his demeanor was because he remembered. He remembered himself.
But as memory goes, some parts are there, others omitted, and some others forgotten. He remembers glimpses of his past, a cadaver, a ‘plane’, another world called ‘Earth’.
As time went by he remembered more.
The child’s name was Zed Rigel but his name in that other world was…
