Chapter 29 - Ten Years

Hey everyone! This is a surprise release for you all! This is the start of Arc 3 - The Tournament. Hope you all enjoy it! PR credits to shadow mouse!

-----------------------

Ten years passed in the blink of an eye. Many things happened all around us but we never were a part of these troubles.

Everyone was shocked when I had returned and I told them all about what I had done. When I was about to show off, I couldn’t do the same thing anymore and I realized that the darkness forgot to mention that my powers would be sealed.

Marduk had explained that the seal will loosen as I get older and at some point I would be able to break it and return back to my previous strength. At the very least, I could still summon my summons though.

Now after ten years, my level was now 40 and my rank remained at Emperor ranked. I had actually reached that rank when I got Abaddon as my summon. Malakir explained that each summon influenced my rank greatly. If I had a powerful summon then my rank will increase depending on the strength of that summon. I had also grown in areas other than just numbers.

I was now sixteen years old and I grew to a height of six feet. I had lean muscles that Sasha would run her fingers through whenever we were alone. My hair I styled to spike up with my magic and I was always cleanly shaved.

Sasha now was five feet in height and her hair reached down to her waist in length. Her breast grew to a D-cup and as the years went by, she had become almost subservient to anything I wanted. Of course, she still had her own decisions and we fought every now and then over some things but we still loved each other. We’ve never had sex because of my blessing and so we did other things of the same nature… I’ve tried several ideas but none of them worked.

Kaiser’s height was 6’4” and his body was similar to a bodybuilder’s. His power was nothing to scoff at as his punches themselves could dent armor if he put his full power and when he used magic, the armor itself would rend. In ten years, he had 50 girlfriends and by his words, he had sex with 40 of them. He currently has another girlfriend that we all thought was only going to last a couple months and we would never know her for a long time.

Alex’s height was the tallest of us at 6’6” and his body was muscular but looked more like my build. I could no longer beat him in a regular sword fight and even Kaiser would lose. Alex was a genius when it came to the sword and it is because of his advancements that Arthur left and went back to his duties with the Magic Knights. Interestingly enough, Alex had the most eventful love life. He went through a four year phase in which he dated this one guy who dumped him and made Alex go through the most depressing time of his life. He’s currently better than before but it has only been two years since.

All four of us were now attending the last school of the academy and soon we would graduate. We agreed to not do the tournament until it was before our last year since we wanted to go out with a bang.

Our mansion was moved and it was now larger than it was before. It had four rooms and the bath was now separated into the male and female baths. The training room was moved to the basement and I had my own training field at the back of the house.

It was more of an observatory than a field as I used it mainly to test new applications of magic. My current power was half of what I had when I was in Hell but when I used Adapt, I could use all of my power.

Currently I was in the training field testing a new Spiritual attack. I learned my lesson when I fought against Necros and focused my powers to be more well rounded than before. Advent had reached a level that I would unconsciously activate it before I casted a spell and deactivate it right after the spell ended. It took five years to do it unconsciously but it was worth the effort as I became more efficient in my mana usage. My mana pool never grew larger but my spells grew fiercer and costed a lot more than they usually did.

This spell I was testing combined Necromancy, Spirit, Form and Inner mana; it was called Spirit Weaver. Similar to Necros’ green energy waves, this spell could create different weapons that would fly towards their target in either a stabbing, piercing, or slashing movement.

My target was a Banshee that Necros had called from Hell. I cast the spell and a giant warglaive spun through the air speeding towards the Banshee. She didn’t move and died after being cut into two.

“Wonderful job, master,” said a mature, sexy voice. I noticed the voice to be Shiva’s. Shiva was born from the egg that the darkness gave me. She was ten meter tall, one headed hydra similar to her mother. From her words, her species of hydra was modified by the darkness to be immune to all magic, poison and diseases. Her regeneration ability was also the strongest among my summons but other than her immunity, she was no more stronger than Galahad.

The abilities she gives are amazing though as I receive all of her immunities as well as a drastic increase in my regeneration. I cannot regrow limbs but deep cuts are healed as if they were no more than a centimeter deep.

All of my summons were currently in me, excluding Galahad, Chronos, Malakir and Fenrir. The rest were too conspicuous and would be very hard to explain why they were here in the first place. It was hard enough to explain to Alex and the rest that I had gone to hell and back and brought them gifts.

Having finished my experiment, I went back inside the mansion. Alex and Kaiser were off doing their own thing either in the Dome or with dates. Sasha was busy cooking dinner for us as it was getting to be that time.

I relaxed in the men’s bath for an hour until I went and changed my clothes to go eat dinner.

All four of us had a nice time, discussing what we all did and looked forward to the start of school the next day.

The next day, we were all gathered in the largest arena in the Dome. Everyone sat wherever they wanted and we listened to the opening speeches. After that we went to our classes.

Classes are different for each section. The eastern section was for children ages 5 to 10. This section taught the basics of their affinities as well as common knowledge. The northern section was for children ages 10-15. This section taught practical appliances of everyone’s affinities as well as knowledge on a path that one would take. The southern section had no age restriction and taught mainly theoretical ideas but they also taught their students creative ways that they can use their magic. The southern section also had no age restriction and was had the most freedom. A student in this section could do anything they wanted and graduate when they wanted so long as they meet the requirement of finding a path and doing something towards that path. A path is similar to a career in this world.

We all took different classes as all the classes was available to us. Kaiser took a class for being a Holy combatant. These were the second strongest warriors of the world.

Alex took a class for a Magic Knight. The class was made to simulate life as a Magic Knight, so each one had a military rank, Alex’s rank was currently a Lieutenant and he will have the rank that he achieves during school.

Sasha took a Theory on Holy Magics class, it seems that she wanted to know more about this particular magic and even though Malakir could teach her she said that she needed to be able to reason with others too.

If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

I took a class on the Theory of Magic. It was the most unpopular class as most people would rather not think of the ‘why’ but rather the ‘how’. I took this class expecting that they might mention something about the Mystical or Angelic as Necros and Abaddon told me everything about theirs but could only tell me a little of the others.

From their words, Angelic energy was an energy that was kind and gentle, soft yet firm. It was the kind of energy that would work with anything and will not have any disastrous effects. Mystical energy was the first form of mana itself. To be able to control Mystical energy is to control all types of energy. Other than this they never told me anything else.

I headed towards the classroom which was held inside a hundred meter tall tower. The tower had black tiled roofing that sloped downwards and curved upwards to form spikes. The walls surrounding it was made of Silence Stone, it muffled sound so much that any sound at all cannot be heard from the inside or the outside.

I opened the door at the base of the tower and headed upwards to take my seat at the highest floor with seats. The teachers in the towers would always teach at the highest floor, where there was only one desk, as they look down to us students.

The seats were in balconies which were able to seat at least five people. There was enough space in between the balconies to allow the teacher to see those that are the very bottom of the hundred meter tall tower. Purple orbs were the only light in this tower as students started filling in.

Unsurprisingly, there was only a total of seven of us here and we all sat at the highest floor. They were all people I knew except for one. She was a High Elf, going by her features. She had an air of dignity around her and she looked stunning. I stared at her beautiful face as well as long blonde hair. My eyes lingered longer to her breasts than Sasha would’ve liked and I found myself imagining some things.

She caught me staring and said, “What is the matter?”

Her eyes were filled with suspicion and I managed to say, “It’s just rare to see a High Elf here. The Dwarves are more interested in their ale and rocks and the High Elves are much better than us in magic.”

She sighed and said, “It is true, but my reason to be here is because I wanted to.”

I nodded at that and thought that she might be a noble with the Elves.

I held my hand out and said, “My name is Zed, Zed Rigel.”

She slowly moved her hand to shake mine while her face showed anxiety and said, “My name is Elenia Wisteria.”

I was surprised at hearing a name that I haven’t heard for so long and asked, “Are you by any chance related to a Tenelia Wisteria?”

She looked up and joy filled her face and she said, “Yes, I am her younger sister. How do you know of her?”

“We met each other during my affinity test. Your mother was unable to come to my ceremony and she was sent instead,” I said remembering what we had talked about.

She showed a shocked expression but after calming down, she immediately curtsied and said, “Please forgive my rudeness Prince Zed, I have been ignorant of the world for too long and in being so, I lacked the proper grace in greeting you.”

Her words felt so mechanical and detached and I said, “No need to do that Elenia. We are of the same age no? Then if so, we should just treat each other as friends rather than prince or princess.”

I took one of her hands and had her stand up. I looked towards her eyes as I waited for a confirmation. She turned her head away and nodded.

We sat next to each other as we listened to our teacher teach. He was a plain looking old man with one long white strand of hair, half closed blue eyes and pale white skin. He wore a simple grey robe and he exuded an aura of oldness.

I listened as attentively as I could but sometimes my eyes would wander to Elenia’s body.

Soon the class ended and I never learned anything about what I wanted. I turned toward Elenia and said, “Do you have anything to do after this?”

“No I don’t.”

“Then why don’t you come with me, I’ll show you around the place,” I suggested with a smile.

“Sure,” she replied with a pleased expression.

I guided her all around the Academy, showing her the different sections and all the facts about them. We also talked about our affinities and I found out that she had summoning magic. I told her that we should show each other our summons but she said that it can be done at a later time as she still wished to see more of the Academy.

I took her to the Dome and watched some fights with her. It was not the most romantic thing but it was something that our academy had. While she was watching the fight, I would check her out every now and then. After we had our fill with the fights, I asked her if she wanted to eat dinner at my mansion.

She was flustered but I insisted and so I led her to my mansion. Upon entering, Sasha immediately hugged me and said, “Where were you? I’ve been looking everywhere for you?”

I hugged her back and said, “I was just showing a new student around.”

She released our hug and looked at Elenia.

Elenia bowed and said, “Greetings, my name is Elenia Wisteria.”

Sasha aptly returned the greeting and said, “My name is Sasha Imadul, fiancée of Prince Zed Rigel.”

They both stood up and I could see that Sasha was pleased with herself and Elenia had a weird expression on her face.

I quickly left them alone and headed to the kitchen.

The kitchen had an open fire stove as well as a chute that released the smoke outside of the mansion. Knives and other cooking utensils lined the back wall. Next to the back wall over to its left were doors that led to the meat room, vegetable room, and fruit room.

I saw Kaiser and Alex there and told them all about Elenia.

“So… she’s single?” asked Kaiser with a hint of a smile.

“…Yes…” I said, knowing where this was going.

“And she’s beautiful.”

“Yes…”

“And she has large breasts?”

“Yes…”

“And-”

“And she’s staring right at us,” said Alex with a fearful expression.

Kaiser looked dumbfounded as I turned and saw a blushing Elenia.

She’s cute when she blushes, I thought, wait, I already have Sasha but… Do I like Sasha like that? Or Do I like Elenia more?

Elenia couldn’t stand our stares and just left, leaving us guys to wonder about what fate awaited us outside.

I took the first plunge and went out to the dining room and I heard Sasha scream, “Zeeeeeeed!!!!!!”
