Hanz took the paper and saw the name of his parents and where he should go to meet them. “So, my father’s name is Killen while my mother is Rilia. I can meet them if I go to Garuda City… that is the capital city,” said Hanz.
“How did grandpa find them?” Hanz found it weird that Juin could find them. “There is also his inheritance,” the more Hanz thought about it, the more confused he got. He was sure that his grandpa was not someone with money but he could leave him with expensive inheritance.
Not only that, but he could also find Hanz’s real family. Hanz did not get angry or anything about Juin keeping Hanz’s family identity to him but he was extremely confused about his grandpa at the moment. What he knew about his grandpa was not the same as what his grandpa had done after his passing.
“Now that I think about it, I did hear before that one of the villagers mentioned that grandpa moved to this village a few days before he found me… I wonder what grandpa’s job was before and also his family. I just assumed he was a farmer and don’t have any family because that was the only thing I know about him from what I can remember.”
“Could he be someone rich before?” Hanz kept thinking and he sighed, “Let’s forget about it. No matter what grandpa’s real identity, he raises me well and I love him the most. He is not in this world anymore and there is no need to find out about his past.” Hanz decided to let go of the matter with his grandpa.
“Now, my family… I don’t know anything about them but grandpa writes here that they are part of the Gillen Clan. That clan is one of the four main pillars in this empire, one of the four great clans just below the royal clan,” Hanz knew about the Gillen clan. Everyone knew about them because it was common knowledge to know about the great clan in the empire.
“So, I am part of this clan… I am a noble…” Hanz was a bit speechless to find out that he was a noble. Though he was a bit indifferent too. “Not that it matters. I am a commoner now.”
The empire that Hanz lived on was called the Mirmo Empire. The one ruling the Mirmo Empire was the royal clan, the Mirmo clan. The founder of the empire was a member of the clan and thus, the name of the empire.
The Mirmo clan was widely known as a beast tamer clan that mainly used a wing-type beast. The emblem of the clan also contained a wing to show that their family specialized with that kind of beast. They were also called the King of the Sky. As for the clan’s overall strength, they were the strongest among all the different clans in the empire.
Below the Mirmo clan were the four great clans. During the earlier years after the founding of the Mirmo Empire, these four clans helped the Mirmo clan a lot that the Mirmo clan bestowed them with the title of the great clan. No other clan in the empire was called the great clan as only the four were allowed to use that title by the Mirmo clan.
Including the Gillen clan, the other three great clans were the Apbee clan, Felina clan, and Aquine clan. These four great clans were also the four pillars of the Mirmo Empire where they would do anything to protect the empire from any enemy.
If a clan or someone bad wanted to destroy the empire, the four pillars would immediately send people to deal with the enemy. So, before anyone could destroy the empire, they needed to pass through the four pillars first. The four great clans were as powerful as the Mirmo Clan. They were not called for no reason. Their strength spoke volumes of their title.
Same as the Mirmo Clan, the four great clans each had their specialty. If the Mirmo clan were called the king of the sky, the Aquine clan was the king of the sea. The Aquine clan specialized in marine beasts. As such, they got the title of the king of the sea.
They were not as powerful as compared to the other great clans when fighting on land but underwater, none of them could rival the Aquine Clan even the Mirmo Clan. That showed how much strength they had when water was present.
The Apbee clan specialized in strength type beast. Raw strength alone, they were unrivaled among all of the clan in the empire including the Mirmo clan. Try fighting them with raw strength, the enemy courted death.
The Felina clan specialized in speed type beast and they were also mainly taming feline type beast. Their clan's name also showed their love for the feline type beast. Though they specialized in speed, they were not the fastest in the empire. The Mirmo Clan was faster than them.
However, that was raw speed. The Felina clan were also known to be good in assassination and thus, other than speed, they also specialized in stealth and that added to the clan’s overall strength a lot.
Last but not least was the Gillen Clan. The Gillen clan was better rounder in terms of speed, strength, or other things. The only thing they specialized in was the reptile type beast. Turtles, snakes, lizards, dinosaurs, dragons, any species of reptiles could be seen tamed by the members of the clan.

In the Mirmo Empire, any clan in the country was nobility. So, the four great clans as well as other clans in the empire were nobles. Well, that would be the case if the royal clan approved of the clan. If not, they were just a commoner clan.
“What should I do? Should I meet them?” Hanz was thinking. He did not know if he wanted to meet his real family. “Will they want me back… I wonder why I am in the forest? Are my parents abandoning me? Or someone kidnapped me?” Hanz wondered.
“…” Hanz stayed silent for a few minutes. He did not know if he should go to Garuda City and meet his family. “What if they were the ones who abandoned me? Considering the clan to be that big, will they accept me even if they are not the ones abandoning me? I am a commoner and never once raised as a noble. They will not acknowledge me as part of the family.”
Hanz was thinking of a lot of possibilities that could happen if he met his family. Most of them were bad outcomes. Hanz fell silent for a few minutes before he made his decision. “That’s right! Grandpa left me with all of this inheritance for a reason. I am sure he wants me to live my life well with all these skill orbs but he also wants me to face my problem properly and in this case my real family.”
“I also want to know what happens to me,” Hanz made his decision, “I am going to meet my family. That means, Garuda city.” Hanz was determined to go to Garuda city but then, he realized something crucial. “Money… Safety… I have any of them.”
“Should I sell the farm and this house?” Hanz considered selling his home and farm but he immediately shook his head. “What am I thinking, this house and farm is grandpa’s inheritance too. I cannot sell them… but then, how can I make enough money to travel to Garuda City?”
It would take at least a month for Hanz to travel to Garuda city and that was considering if he bought a ticket for high-end transportation to Garuda city which was super expensive and he could not afford it.
If he bought a ticket for common transportation, it would take him two to three months of travel to reach Garuda city. “Too long…” Hanz was thinking and he immediately got an idea. “I am too stupid,” Hanz slapped his forehead, “I can sell the skill orb I duplicate and use that money to buy tickets and other important things for this long-distance travel.”
Hanz decided to sell the skill orb he duplicated but he realized the danger of doing that. “I need to be careful if I sell the skill orb. All the skill orbs in my possession are S rank. If I sell one for each, that will attract a lot of attention… I should only sell one of them.”
Hanz decided to sell only one of the four skill orbs. He was weak and he could not risk his life for money. He had a quest he needed to complete and thus, he needed to be extra careful. People coveted the S rank skill orb a lot and that would be dangerous for him.
“Which one should I sell?” Hanz opened the duplication space and looked at the four skill orbs that were currently undergoing duplication. “Okay, I will sell you,” Hanz decided to sell the special dimension skill orb. Out of the four, that skill orb could fetch him the most money.
“Now that I made my decision,” Hanz looked around the house and he smiled, “Hup~ time to pack my things~” Hanz went around the house to finish cleaning his grandpa’s things. After that, he started packing for the long journey to Garuda city.
Three days later, Hanz finished all the things he should have done in Milik village. He had properly packed all the things he should and told the village chief to take care of his house and farm. The village chief happily agreed to Hanz.
The news about him leaving the village was spread to all the villagers. The girls especially were sad that he was leaving, and many of them came to meet him to persuade him to not leave though Hanz said that he would come back.
Though they were annoying, Hanz dealt with them patiently because Hanz knew that they care about him although that was only half the real reason. Nonetheless, he appreciated it. Not only the girls, the other villagers came to see him too for the past few days including some of his friends.
It was night and that would be the last night before Hanz departed to Garuda city. Hanz sat on his bed and he opened the duplication space. He had left the four skill orbs in the duplication space and their count had increased quite a lot especially the taming skill.
Hanz took out one item storage, taming, and beast space skill orb. He wanted to learn all of them and filled all his skill slots. He decided to learn the three skills first because they were one of the most needed skills at the moment.
Skill list
The System (Grade G, Level 1) – Skill limit: 5
Duplication Space (Special, Special) – Space: 5. Capacity: 100 or 100 kg per space
Taming (Grade G, Level 1) – Taming the beast. Highest Rank: Rank 0 (10%)
Item Storage (Grade G, Level 1) – Storage. Box: 5. Capacity: 5 or 5 kg
Beast Space (Grade G, Level 1) – Stored tamed beast. Capacity: 3
“Okay, now I have learned all the important skills. After I sell the special dimension skill orb, I will buy a storage ring, some new clothes, and maybe a farmed beast too,” Hanz made some simple planning. He wanted to buy new clothes because he knew his clothes were old and that would attract a lot of unwanted attention in the big city.
As for the space ring, the item storage skill did not have that many spaces at the moment to store many of his things and he could only resort to using the space ring. Though both of them had the same function, the item storage skill was superior because it was time-proof and secure. If Hanz stored food in the item storage, it would not spoil at all.
However, the skill level was too low and it could not store many items. Hanz had also decided to stop duplicating the skill orb because he did not have much space in the item storage and it was dangerous to carry them around like that.
Once he was done, Hanz immediately went to sleep. Hanz woke up early the next day, had his breakfast, and immediately departed from his home. He left early in the morning because he did not want to meet any of the villagers.
Hanz's first destination would be the Molip Town, an hour's walk from Milik village. Hanz did not bring many things with him. With only a small backpack on his back, Hanz calmly walked towards Molip town.
