He is knowledgeable in all things finance, from exchange traded funds to real estate investment trusts to futures. His friends come to him for investment advice and he often gives them the right tips that make them a ton of money. Not everyone can be like Eden of course. Successful in his career and in his personal life and in wealth building. He is a rare breed amongst the crowds of people today.

Meanwhile normal ambitious folks like Ken who are mildly competent had no chance against someone with a work ethic like Eden. He is outcompeted as hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.
