A Tale of Two Worlds ii : Cursed Wheel
Chapter viii : Blond Strands and Bloody Hands
"Ugh...." Alexandria moaned, her hand deep down in her pants. She grasped for breath as she put down the doujinshi she was reading. "Never thought it was THIS good. Damn that Claire."
As she stood up, she decided that she should take a bath.
"Ma'am Alexandria." Keiren said with an empty smile. "Should I help you wash yourself?" The maid said as she saw Alexandria on her way to the bathroom, towel in hand.
Alexandria examined The new maid. Her face was filled with cuts, yet beautiful. She felt sorry for her being her little sister's toy. The horrors she must've experience up until now. She thought that Keiren was better off tortured to death. "Uhmmm... sure." She smiled at her. It made her remember a certain memory when she was young.
Back then, it was Cezille who would ask her that question. They would go to the shower together. It was Cezille who would wake her up early in the morning, not the alarm clock. It was Cezille who would sit on the back seat of the car, but now it was empty.
"Am I a bad sister?" Alexandria asked Keiren who's scrubbing her back. "Why do you think Cezille hate me so much?"
"......"
"I won't slap you or anything. And it's not a trick question. No need to be afraid." She reassured the naked maid, her body filled with scars and cuts.
"....C-Cezille says.. you're so beautiful with your long blond hair." Keiren said, her voice stuttering. "That you look like your father...."
"People says that a lot." Alexandria giggled. "What else?"
"If she hears this.... I can't say it..."
"It's fine. I won't tell her." Alexandria turned around and pinched Keiren's cheek.
"Cezille says that she ha-"
"Cezille hates you, Alexandria." Claire entered the bathroom, her small body was naked and looked at Alexandria. Alexandria was always amazed at her Claire's tattoo on the left side of her small chest. Alexandria made way for her so that she could also dip on the large jacuzzi she was in.
"Geez, thanks." Alexandria smiled as she pat the glassesless girl. "I know that. But why?"
"I should take my leave.." Just before Keiren was about to stand up, Claire took her by the hand and pulled her. She fell on Claire's legs down the bubbling water and she lifted her head in an instant as if she was drowning.
Claire kissed her on the lips but Keiren was fighting back. The more she hated it, the more Claire liked it.
"Are you drunk?" Alexandria asked as she chopped Claire's head.
"Ow...." Claire shook her head. "With Demon Blood." She said without a single speck of emotion. As always.
"Yeah. Right. You and your demon things."
Claire titled her head at her cousin as she stood up then to Keiren's frustrated looking face as if she just find Clorox's taste not that appealing.
"I should take my leave." Alexandria said as she left.
She took a bathrobe and went to her room. The moment she closed the door, moans was heard inside the bathroom. Most of it was Keiren's. Then she was greeted by her raven haired little sister. "Smokin' hot."
Just when she was about to say a come back, she looked at her and saw that Melissa, Aldred's little sister. She had her hair tied into pigtails and somehow, without the eyeliner. "Oh yah." She smiled. "Melissa, good to see you here."
"I was just about to go." Melissa said, smiling, with the jar with an eyeball inside on her hands.
"Take care then." Alexandria grinned as she watched the girl walk on her own on their massive mansion. The moment she saw the girl was gone from their sight, she looked on her little sister.
"What?" Cezille said.
"You getting sleep these past few days? Your eyes aren't that swelling anymore."
"I still think of him...." Cezille tried to smile.
Cezille stood up and hugged her big sister. She didn't find Alexandria's body being wet a hindrance. Alexandria hugged her back.
She found it funny that ever since Matthew died, they became sisters again. She thought that Matthew's death would push her away from Cezille further. But it became a way for them to become what they were before.
Alexandria became happy that Matthew was dead. But somehow, it feels so weird that Alexandria still feels so distant.
She went to her room, looking for clothes to wear. But somehow, she couldn't choose any. Nor the dress she wore on her first date with Aldred doesn't look that appealing to her anymore. When she was about to leave her room with only her black lingerie, she saw Aldred's sweatshirt on the back of her room's door. "Might as well go with the s a d g i r l look today, huh."
Dressed on her boyfriend's black long sleeved shirt, black pants and black knit cap, she went to find Vincent to drive for her to the hospital that Aldred was in.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Alexandria was about to leave her room until she saw the picture of her and Cezille's graduation on Elementary. She took it in hand and gazed at it, her eyes filled with longing for her sister. As if she never saw her in years. "Things will change now, right?" She smiled. "I don't mind if I'll only be a replacement for him... as long as we can be together."
She walked the halls of their mansion and saw Claire and Keiren walked out of the bathroom. Claire seemed to be happy, eventhough her face was expressionless as ever. Keiren, on the other hand, seemed to be more closer to Claire as she was holding Claire's hand. Or was it Claire that was holding hers. Either way, both seemed to be happy as Alexandria passed them by.
"Oh, have you two seen Vincent?" Alexandria said as she turned back.
"Mr. Vincent is on his room, Ms. Alexandria." Keiren said, smiling a little.
"Thanks."
She walked the halls, both her hands on her pockets, till she heard screams coming for Vincent's room. It was from a boy and a girl. Alexandria opened the room and there was Vincent, sitting on his bed with his arms crossed, watching a little boy carve a couple who seems to be high schoolers from her school. Their faces were familiar to her.
Noticing the presence of Alexandria, Vincent stood up and bowed like the butler he is, except that he was wearing casual clothes. "Ms. Alexandria, I'd like you to meet my apprentice, Kevin. He's Keiren's little brother. Kevin, say hi to Ms. Alexandria."
Kevin placed the surgical knife that he was holding and placed it to the table where other of his tools were. The kid bowed like Vincent and smiled. It was the same smile as Vincent's. Beautiful but lifeless. Alexandria never trusted Vincent's eyes. And now, he's making a copy of him. "Good afternoon, Ms. Alexandria. I am at your service from this day 'till the end of my days."
Alexandria sighed. "You made him read 'A Song of Ice and Fire'? And what's up with the lost arm?"
"Made the kid watch the show first so that he won't get disappointed when he saw the show." Vincent scratched his head. "Ms. Cezille told me to find a doctor to have it replaced like Edward Elric's arm."
"Make sure she use her own money." She walked next the kid. "Who are these two?" Alexandria asked as she took a knife from the table.
"June and Jessie." Vincent smiled. "They were the reason behind Matthew's suicide. This June was the one flirting with Keiren. Jessie on the other hand," Vincent walked towards Jessie and carresed her long hair. She looked the other way. "...she's a piece of art, I must say."
"I too, love art." Alexandria said, carving a heart shape on June's stomach. June bit his lip as he tried not to scream. "It's kind of a waste to.... waste her." She thought it was funny. But no one laughed.
"All yours, Ms. Alexandria." Vincent said, invitingly
"Don't want to get my favourite sweatshirt stained with blood." Alexandria said as she walked towards the door. "Drive me to the hospital." Alexandria turned around, knife in hand, aiming for June.
"With pleasure." Vincent said.
Alexandria threw the knife and hit June's left hand. June groaned in pain as blood slowly trickled. "And let the kid play with his toys."
Kevin then picked up a syringe and filled it with a yellowish liquid from a bottle that has a skull logo on it. Alexandria thinks that it must be acid and grinned at the kid.
"And yeah, let's buy flowers on the way. Aldred's flowers must be withered right now."
"Ms. Alexandria, I heard from Ms. Claire that you gave your guns to Albert for his...." Vincent felt that the word was too weird for his tongue. "...quest?"
"Yes. Even my priced Dragunov." She smiled.
He took a white gun from his bed's pillow and handed it to Alexandria
"Do you have a silencer to go with this?" She smiled.
Vincent drove the black 1997 Chevrolet Impala and went to the said flower shop and then to the hospital.
'I miss him so much.' Alexandria whispered to herself, flowers in hand. The moment she went outside of her care, people would begin to turn their heads towards her. Normally, she would look at them and smile. But somehow, she feels lonely.
'Cezille.... Aldred... I wish I have them both.' Then she smiled to herself. 'Right, Cezille is starting to open up once again.'
The door of Aldred's room has a 'Do not disturb' sign on it. But since she's one of the hotshots around, such a thing could not stop her. 'It's just probably Melissa.' She said. So she opened it. Then, the smile on her face faded.
There, she saw Melissa on top of Aldred, naked. Screaming and moaning above her sleeping big brother.
"Melissa?"
Melissa looked at Alexandria. Wordless.
Alexandria pulled the gun equipped with a black silencer that Vincent gave her. She felt the cold trigger with her fingers as tears anger starts to morph into her face.
