It was a sunny day in the countryside of Brueveria where factories were manufacturing products with smoke polluting the sky. There was a massive uprising happening. Citizens marched on while getting gunned down by knights in white armour with golden edges. They held railguns, machine guns, and rocket launchers. All to mow down a riot. This was insanely unacceptable. Something catastrophic had happened that caused the riots in the first place. Certain classified, secret pieces of information had gotten out into the public. It made the Brueverian citizens mad. The I.F.Q.S was in big trouble. Especially the Senator of Quadaria. Panic ensued as the slaughter continued. Meanwhile, far away at the seaside, an assault on a huge tall tower was happening. The tower had housed all the information needed to revolt against the I.F.Q.S and to open the public's eye. Guns were ablaze, blood spilt, and lives were lost. It was an assault by the revolutionists or more specifically, Anti-Quadaric Coalition(A.Q.C). On the opposite side of the chaos, Frank, a veteran soldier who had turned into a revolutionist was having a dispute with two negotiators with another revolutionist, Amelia, when suddenly things went bad. The two men pulled out their guns and fired them straight at Frank and just then the door was harshly kicked down. It was the Quadaric Royal Troopers, the reapers disguised as white knights. Frank grabbed Amelia and ran out of the window to another rooftop. The QRTs started opening fire at the two revolutionists. Frank was hit in the stomach and desperately needed medical care. They could hear the roar of gunfire from the building, lit up due to the machine guns. Bullets flew out from the windows, raining bullets upon Frank and Amelia. They jumped off the rooftop and ran towards the roads. Surprisingly, there wasn't even a blockade of sorts. No police, no nothing. They were picked up by a truck full of revolutionist freedom fighters. They fired back at the buildings, giving cover fire for the two. They brought Frank and Amelia far away to a different building where they would have a meeting. At the meeting, Valen, an ex-captain, complimented them for being exponentially good at their job. He was sitting behind a desk.
"Well, what do I say?" he grinned.
He was impressed.
"You two completed your mission in just a day!" he laughed in astonishment.
"Yeah, we almost died though," Frank interrupted.
"And also, we know the truth about the A.Q.C"
The room went silent as Valen stopped his laughter.
"Know what?" Valen replied.
"Quit playing dumb," Frank coldly doubled down.
"Frank, you know our goals and our morals," Valen slowly spoke.
"You should understand our slogans by now."
He paused for a moment.
"Don't you still remember the words? DON'T YOU BELIEVE IN THEM?" Valen asked angrily.
"Stop trying to persuade me, Krieger," Frank called out Valen by his last name.
"It's not going to work."
"Just explain to me,"
"Why?"
There was a moment of silence again.
"Frank, you know that that isn't what we're aiming towards, don't you?" Valen spoke up.
"The I.F.Q.S has done horrible inhumane things, Frank!"
"Think about your family! Don't you remember what happened to them when you relied on the I.F.Q.S!"
"Enough, Krieger!" Frank shouted.
"You know the A.Q.C is just another tyrant to replace the current one!"
"I knew something was off about this coalition from the very beginning!"
"Frank!" Valen shouted back as he stood up from his chair.
"Such outlandish claims!"
"I thought you'd be better than this, Frank!"
"Valen, quit pretending you don't know.", Amelia spoke up.
"You're not the person I thought you were..."
"You tried to gaslight Frank using the death of his family!"
Amelia teared up, her eyes becoming watery. She had felt betrayed yet again by someone she thought she could trust. Valen used to be an amazing leader on the battlefield, teaching Amelia the ways of going about her life. She admired him but now, she felt hatred towards the man that she once trusted.
"Amelia! Not you too!" Valen shouted in annoyance.
"This is ludicrous!"
"How dare you question the coalition!"

"What is this mutiny?!"
"What's gotten into you two?!"
Valen was nearly out of breath. He had to pause again to breathe and readied to begin talking. He sat back in his chair.
"Such treason..." he spoke softly.
Frank could see Valen was disappointed but he knew he was doing the right thing. Amelia was still holding her tears.
"You both are traitors!" Valen suddenly yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Traitors! You hear me? Traitors!"
"Guards!"
Just as Valen shouted, an explosion roared and the air raid sirens sounded. Frank took the opportunity to grab a pistol from his concealed holster and shoot it at Valen. Valen was hit in the shoulder and quickly dropped to the ground to hide. Then another guard with a submachine gun aimed barged into the room.
"Sir!", he yelled.
"What—"
Frank grabbed the guard by his shoulder, raising it. The guard fired the submachine gun, completely missing his shots. The rounds lit up the ceiling of the room. Frank then aimed his slightly up at the head of the guard, and pulled the trigger, swiftly killing the guard with a single shot straight into the brain. Blood splattered across the door frame. Valen, with his right shoulder still bleeding, pushed the alarm button behind the table he was hiding. The alarms were sounded. Frank knew they had to get out of there as quickly as possible.
"Go grab the tickets!", Frank yelled.
"On it!", Amelia yelled back.
Amelia did as told. She grabbed the tickets from the drawers and went to Frank to escape. Frank knew a secret passage behind one of the paintings in the room.
"The 16th on Piere," he thought carefully.
Frank scanned the room and went in front of the large painting in the room.
"Ah! There it is!"
He removed the painting and low and behold, there it was, a giant gap in the wall.
"Have you got the tickets?" Frank asked Amelia.
"Yes," she responded quickly.
"Alright, let's go," Frank ordered.
Frank grabbed Amelia by her hand and sprinted through the gap as quickly as they could. It was dark and tight, claustrophobia kicked in. Amelia felt uncomfortable. Then, she started feeling scared. She didn't like tight spaces. Frank saw the frowned expression on Amelia's face. Frank knew they couldn't waste any time. They had to get off of this god-forsaken planet as fast as humanly possible. The dark, tight tunnel seemed to stretch forever though. At the end of the tunnel, the space got so tight that two had to practically crawl. It only added to Amelia's claustrophobia. Then, in the corner of Frank's eye, a beam of light shone. They knew they were nearly out.
"I see light Frank!" Frank spoke in delight.
"Hang on, Amelia!" Frank assured.
"We're nearly out!"
Amelia smiled in joy after hearing that. They crawled a bit more. Frank could hear shouts and screams of pain coming from the open. Once outside, it wasn't looking good. There were planes in the sky dropping bombs after bombs. It was a massacre never before seen. Buildings collapsed into rubble. The I.F.Q.S was bombing the suspected revolution areas in hopes of wiping them out. They were desperate. Amelia wanted to cry at the sight but Frank hugged Amelia tightly and reassured her and calmed her down. They took a damaged car that seemed to be working. There was a dead body on the roof of the car. Frank smashed the window of the driver's seat trying to break in, reached behind the car door into the car, opened the door, and got into the driver's seat. After getting into the driver's seat, Frank grabbed the keys from the car's sun visors after turning it down and the keys falling out, he pushed the keys into the ignition and turned it. Then... the car came to life! The car made a loud engine starting noise and then, it was OK to drive! It was still working! Despite having scrape marks, dents, and scratch marks from the shrapnel of the bombing. Frank drove it straight to an extraction site of the A.Q.C. On their way, their car bumped into multiple corpses, making loud thudding noises. They had to keep driving no matter the cost. The glass shards from breaking into the car after Frank broke the window with his elbow had left small cuts on Frank's arm. Making his arm hurt and bleed. Explosions rocked the car but they drove on, not wanting to stop or slow down in the slightest. The shrapnel smashed against the windshield, leaving cracks in the glass. His bullet wound was still pouring out blood too despite having bandaged up! He was slowly bleeding out. He desperately needed medical attention. His life was slowly fading away. His eyes and body wanted to give up but Frank held it together and kept driving.
"Hang on there, Frank," Amelia reassured.
"We can stop to heal your wounds—"
"No need to Amelia," Frank interrupted.
"But Frank!" Amelia tried to reason.
"I can take the steering wheel for you."
Frank agreed to that. He stomped on the brakes and stopped driving. Amelia got out of the car to get Frank into the backseat. Frank opened the car door and walked out. He stumbled, nearly falling. Amelia caught Frank, stopping him from slamming his face flat to the ground.
"A-Are you okay Frank?" Amelia asked.
"Yeah—"
Frank suddenly felt a sharp pain. He grunted and halted his speech.
"Frank..." Amelia spoke sadly.
"Just bring me to the backseat quickly!" Frank requested in pain.
Amelia held up Frank and brought him to the backseat. Frank sat tightly. Then, Amelia took the driver's seat and started driving again. Once they escaped from the battle zone, Frank took a sigh of relief with Amelia barely hanging on, trying her best not to break down. Frank saw the face on Amelia, a saddened pretty face. He got closer to Amelia and gave a passionate kiss on her red lips. Amelia was taken aback by this but she softened up and let it sink in. Her face turned red from blushing flusteredly. Frank backed away and got back to driving. Once they arrived at the civilian extraction site, they gave the guards the tickets and went onboard the spaceships. Frank was worried, sweat dripped down his face as his heart beat. Amelia hugged Frank as the spaceship took off from the ground and went out of the atmosphere. Frank breathed out carefully so as to not have a panic attack. He was happy. So hysterical as tears of joy came pouring out of his eyes. He hugged Amelia back wholeheartedly.
"We're fine now, Amelia. We're fine..." he spoke softly.
As the spaceship flew into space, Amelia fell asleep and Frank wondered how this had all happened. He reflected upon his past.
"How did I end up here?" he thought and closed his eyes and sighed.
