Theria sent twenty-five Golems to bolster the defences of each of the Free Orc Cities to help defend them, plus a reserve of one hundred and twenty-five Golems that were portaled into eight side barracks beside the entrances to the Dwarven Expressway as a hidden defensive reserve garrison to reinforce any of the Free Cities in times of need, Thirty-one Golems stationed near Life Orc Free City, thirty Golems stationed near Great Orc Free City the six other barracks all contain 10 Golems except the two barracks are either side of the central Fey Orc Free City which both contained twelve Golems.
Since the Army was going to be delayed for a while on its journey South and the portals were stable with additional Golem guards in place around each at the Ironchest Dwarves Mines. Theria looked to other matters; Twenty-five Great Orc Shamans made themselves available to assist in communications; seven were sent to the Grey Isle, one for the port itself and one each for the harboured ships as an additional means of communications; one to Far Bear, One to Big Bear, One to the Adalbern Embassy at Jade City and five to the Palace, four to be sent wherever countess Threadstore felt was wisest, seven to Iceflow Bay all bar one for future ships that would be built with the Frist Carrock destined now to set sail to Far Bear, and one direct to the deck of HMS Iceflow Bay a more challenging proposition for Theria opening a moving portal but after some practice she managed it, then one more to augment Sideswipe which was a development he greatly appreciated.
Theria and Findel, and the seven paladin knights made plans for the Dead continent to take twenty-one Golems with them Portaling them all to Far Bear. Leaving twenty Golems as a perimeter defence force for Far Bear. Lady Josephine Bera, along with the Great Orc shaman and the seven Paladins, Theria and Findel had Council about what was happening on the Dead Continent. Then Theria scouted ahead South along the Dead continent, looking for the area the elementals controlled, beyond the territories of the Dwarves and Kobolds. Theria determined the lay of the land, exploring with portal after portal further South on this continent towards the Elementals and then to where the Dead beyond dwelt. Findel sat on the Golem's shoulders, conserving energy, enjoying a better view and preparing to hold on for dear life if an air elemental attacked; she had a quick-release harness on the shoulders of the Golem, helping secure her in position. The plain in front of them had many small twister Air Elementals roving around and the occasional huge earth elemental that moved slowly; the air elementals appeared curious and possibly dangerous, and the earth elements appeared avoidable due to their lack of speed, but Theria made Findel and the paladins agree to go through a portal if things got dangerous. Theria would trust her bracelet of wind affinity to assist her if things got tricky with the Air Elementals and the Paladins on their steeds and hoped their Holy Aurora might be enough to discourage interference.
Getting closer confirmed that the Earth Elementals appeared quite hostile, but they were, as predicted, so slow as to be easily avoided. However, Theria thought that if the Air Elementals used Air against them, they might be blown into an Earth Elemental's path or perhaps prevented from evading one.

Theria intercepted any interested Air Elemental and kept them occupied long enough for the rest of the party to sneak past the Air Elemental and, at the same time to ensure all Earth Elementals were given a wide berth. The Air Elementals would seemingly dance around Theria, with her engaging them in the same sort of quick step dance, leading them away from her companions, before disengaging and moving back to act as interference for any other curious Air Elementals.
Beyond the plain, to the West, were Lava pools and lava vents, and that was clearly where the fire elementals resided; next to them was a long sandy beach that appeared empty then what looked like a lake with a river to the East and a strange bridge. Around the river was mud, leading north into rocky terrain and then into the plains of the air elementals. The Rocky terrain had Rock elementals wandering around; they looked dangerous; the mud had small mud elementals, they looked the least dangerous, and the river and lake had water elementals; these looked very playful. While the beach continued to appear empty, Theria was convinced that it was not.
They made for the bridge, and as they got closer, they noticed a strange structure in the middle of the bridge and two figures standing beyond the structure fighting the undead. As they got closer, Theria recognised them as the necromancer and the chaosmage. Theria opened a Portal behind the Wizards and bought her party through. The Paladins moved to stand in front of the Wizards and formed a line holding back the undead. They exchanged greetings while continuing the fight; occasionally, a water Elemental would leap from the water and pull an undead in under the waves with them.
The Paladins and Wizards seemed to be in their element, and the Golem was stationed as a rear guard reserve force. While Theria and Findel mainly watched, after a while, Theria scouted with overhead window portals to see what may lie ahead on the Dead Continent.
The many strongholds of the Dead were identified and mapped, and Theria found many dead cities. Many had died, and the cause of death wasn't apparent; eventually, Theria discovered far to the South a magically defended City of the Living who were firing missile attacks on undead and chaos beasts who surrounded them. Still, within a minute of her spotting them in the far distance, they spotted her presence and then shifted their magical defences so Theria could no longer see them. Instead, she could only perceive a black circle of absence with what she knew to be there veiled against her sight. Theria decided upon reflection that this would be a crucial meeting and not one to rush and that she would probably need to provide evidence over time before they would consent to meet with an outsider. However, as a first step, Theria portaled into the vicinity of the mystery city and dispatched the undead and chaos beast around it and in the adjacent areas; she then portaled in two wagons of grain from Big Bear, which she left unhitched and then portaled away, hopeful this would begin to establish good will with whoever lived there.
