"Jake, I have something to ask of you, do you want to stay here or come with me?", I sat down with Jake on the couch in the living room.

he raised his head and said,"..okay but where?"

"Good, I want to go out of the city, away from most of the zombies. I was thinking La bagh woods",

"But how are we gonna live there?", he was intrigued.

"I'm sure we'll manage and besides, I have the firepower to take us there too", I gestured to my bag, far away leaning beside the kitchen counter.

"Really? But even with guns, I don't think-",

I put my hand on his shoulder, "As I said, we'll make it there. You just gotta have faith, okay?"

He looked at me and nodded, "well then, we better prepare. So don't worry if I seem gone, okay? And secondly, do you guys have a garage, where you keep your tools and stuff?",

"No but we have a basement for that, it's through that door beside the kitchen but why?", "Because I wanna prepare some things to help us"

With that, I grabbed my bag and went to work in the basement. It was a nice place, it had some tables to the side that housed various tools and equipment. What I wanted to make actually were weapons. Molotovs, pipe bombs, etc stuff like that.

If I do end up using the guns, they will attract extra attention so I might as well cause as much damage as I possibly can. I also wanted to know, how exactly my power works, it's limits and what exactly are the factors that apply for my power to do it's magic.

Firstly, I got myself some small plastic caps and a plastic tube which I sawed off from a larger one. The remaining tube was close to the size of my hand then I got myself a rifle round and with some pliers carefully separated the bullet from the casing. I absorbed the casing into my last free slot.

I duplicated the casing till I had enough gunpowder to fill the plastic tube but still have a quarter of it empty. Before this I covered one end of the tube with the plastic cap and in the other, I decided to manually drill into its middle with a small drill rod.

I got myself some cloth which I then turned it into a makeshift wick. I pushed it inside the drilled plastic cap and covered the remaining end of the plastic tube. I emptied my 6th slot and absorbed my pipe bomb into it, I duplicated it up to five times, so I don't burden myself mentally or physically.

I wanted to make a Molotov too but first I had to figure out the bases for my powers. So firstly, my powers are dependent upon the material I absorb the more simple it is, the more time I can duplicate it and easier too, size also plays a part.

It also isn't as clearly as simple as two materials absorbed together does not make the burden become twice as much. If it did, I would have a hard time absorbing the simple bag of chips which had loads of different materials in it like spices, condiments, etc.

So was it their quantity that made it easier? I'm sure it was exactly that and the size or design of the item does not matter as long as it fits the item slot. So in summary, my power of duplication depends on complexity and not so much on size as long as it can be absorbed and it has a low complexity, I can duplicate it about twenty something times.

Which is an absolutely crazy amount, with this power I just have to worry about the zombie and possibly people.

I would barely struggle if I used this power right. Now, what exactly qualifies as fairly complex for this power.

Let's start from the bottom up, the wooden door piece I absorbed long ago, would be a bit above 1, the chips bag same as the door piece. The knife was close to 2 and the food crates, I haven't actually fully duplicated them but I still can give a fair estimate which would be a bit above 2 like maybe 2.5/2.6 something like that.

This power is just amazing, ..how did I even get it but this question has remained unanswered for so long that I've decided to just ignore it because it's starting to give me an existential crisis at this point. The last thing is how I take advantage of the fact that it allows me to manipulate my items.

hmm ..I should practice first before, I think of that. I focused and tried to swap all of the items of both of my food crates. I felt like I did it but I learned long ago to keep my heart and mind functions separate.

So I waited a bit and then checked on my crates and sure enough, the items were swapped. It was done perfectly as well, my initial ideas seem possible now. I just have to get some living subjects, two zombies perhaps..
