SIMULATION: Spiderland.exe
The flying city of Ember Tree Finances, unlike Fornia that had four enormous flying platforms, had hundreds of smaller ones flying high in the sky, with the three largest being the taiga and beach platform at the top, and the Harlynx platform at the bottom.
The underground portions of the platforms, the ones where its citizens that lived on a monthly allowance walked on and resided on, held two secrets.
The first secret was that the city that was sometimes visible through the smog of No Man's Land...
It was only a hologram.
The technology that created the illusion resided in the underground chambers of the city's flying platforms, which were all also connected simply by physical doors if one walked to Ember's mansion. Ember knew the ways of esper shenanigans and simulation shenanigans.
No Man's Land resided in the HALT simulation that would sometimes overlap with the Derry Hill 2 simulation, and that is where the Ember Tree City hologram would appear.
Ember Tree City and No Man's Land were in two separate simulations, and the second secret was that the chambers all connected to Ember's Mansion that had a platform of its own, and it also connected to all Ember's properties across all the data that ever was and ever will be. Each flying platform in Ember Tree City also had a tunnel with a teleportation pad to the mansion which was heavily guarded by police robots and security protocols.
Even though Ameen always knew all this, the hologram above No Man's Land was an effective scapegoat against Byza's syndicate, Alca's syndicate, and lesser Alkrezian cults.
The most frequented quarters, online and physically, inside Ember's mansion was the business meeting quarters. This place was both physical and digital, as one could come and attend meeting by walking or jaunting there, joining online through an earthplexus link, or through joining the right server and session in the video game called A Big Satan Under Your Pinky Toe.
After seeing apparitions and glitches on the taiga platform, and seeing teleportation pads no longer working thus causing the platforms to interconnect with emergency bridges, Ember called for an emergency meeting in the Irichron, the Irichron being the business meeting quarter in Ember's mansion.
IRICHRON ATTENDEES:
EMBER COMSA
Baph0
WEXIL
GENERAL HENDRIX aka. Ace "The Beekeeper" Hendrix
The large chamber that could also serve as a dining hall had a grand table hewn from rich ironwood with an imposing centerpiece that served the same function as an earthplexus tower. The extensive polishing and the holograms that manifested around the decadent seats around it highlighted hints of crimson on the wood.
The three holograms that were spinning into place, and eventually landing on one of the seats, were the holograms of Baph0 in a magical coat, Wexil, and General Hendrix with beehive orifices on the side of his head.
And with the clacks of heels echoing in the hallway outside the wide doors, an angry Ember slammed through the door with her metal hands, causing the doors to fly across the room.
"For the love of God!" Ember shrieked. "I hope you went back in time to try and get Ameen to stop betraying us."
"I did," Wexil said. "However, it seems he still backstabs you regardless of what I do."
"It seems Ameen always had the intention to betray you," Baph0 said, the anthropomorphic goat scratching under one of his horns. "It had nothing to do with any butterflies we might have stepped on."
"I will kill you both if either of you are playing stupid," Ember said.
Wexil and Baph0 stayed silent.
"Say something."
"The thought of us ever betraying you does not warrant any kind of response," Wexil said.
Ember pouted. "Very well. Any updates General?"
"It seems the monkey king insists on stopping me from jaunting using your advanced esper abilities... those reality bubbles of yours," General Hendrix said in a low-pitched voice. "All the bubbles you set in the military base in your mansion have been deleted."
"Fuck!" Ember yelled. "My sister betraying me truly has fucked us over. Now it seems jaunting and espering has changed. Luckily, this mansion is a pocket dimension... a simulation within a simulation... and I escaped into this before my powers were modified by Yaw."
"We know now that Bastian has some kind of ability to relive his life... to be reborn," General Hendrix said. "It means we must kill him at all costs, and it is more reassuring that once we craft the sword of possibilities from the pendulum blade that is in Bolsa Mágica... we should be able to kill Spiderland as well."
Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
"It seems Bolsa Mágica vanished before me, or any of you... or anyone in my singularity mindlink was able to access it," Ember said. "Say, is there a possibility that Bastian could recreate Bolsa Mágica, but lied to Iker knowing we were so close to getting there? Bastian has tried to beat us over forty-two times at this point."
"It is quite possible," Baph0 said.
"So we have this backwards. At least in this timeline," Wexil said.
"We might need to capture Bastian first before capturing Iker as well," General Hendrix said.
THAT AIN'T HAPPENIN'.
Above the massive wooden table spawned an influx mirror, and galloping through data, stars, and a flickering afterimage of Sergeant Hunter...
The childlike god Spiderland on the back of the armored Iggy arrived with all of their eyes glowing, and Iggy had his Muramasa katana raised forward, pointing it at Baph0's hologram inside the Irichron.

I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
That was what the speakers said in the Sentiennica laboratory that still persisted after the universe apparently may have reached singularity and then sundered again. Outside the vast windows where 22nd-century Japanese skyscrapers once stood, a green laser grid now replaced the once towering structures.
It seemed the lab had its own tech to be able to persist through simulation shenanigans.
Iker's brain was floating in a tank where Dominic's once was, but Noah's artificial consciousness inhabited the brain now. It seemed Noah had been reset to only being capable of machine learning... at least temporarily.
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
How dare you?
As if some microbe entered Kaya form using influx, flesh began to manifest forming the outline of another brain besides Noah's.
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
How dare you?
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
How dare you?
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
How dare you?
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.
How dare you?
I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you.

"I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you."
"How dare you?"
Ember's Sentiennica corporation discovered simulations made of one element, as in vast universes that only had tantalum, gold, aluminum, and any elements necessary to produce computers and robots. However, through the efforts of Spiderland, the Wamis, and the Felixs through spacetime and esper shenanigans, they had reset the fabric of reality itself, thus the corporation had lost access to these simulations they were tapping into to produce self-replicating AI.
Now Sentiennica only had its stockpiles left for cases of power outages or service interruptions, and what seemed to be intentionally as the information war against Ember, Ameen, and whoever their allies still were, two nine-feet tall mechs manifested extracting the last of the corporation's reserves. Two brains jaunted on top of their open metal heads, then the influx used by Sentiennica's computer extracted the last of the metal that remained in the lab to cap their steel heads.
As one mech posed with a flamethrower and a blade made of lasers...
"I am sorry, I am a language model and I cannot assist you," Noah said as he lifted his weapons to pose for battle.
"How dare you!" Tyra Thunberg the mech declared, posing with her arms on her hips after she flicked her printed synthetic hair.
And as they kept asking how daring they were and insisting on not being of any assistance, the two bots marched across the lab room to help the fight to save all that ever was and ever will be.

Hydris Lacuna, Hydris Lacuna, Calypso, Brennisteinn, South Pole Wall...
While Uzi kept glancing around the cosmos of the battle stage for something, Maverick fired the stun gun around his snout once more, and by the time Uzi hovered to the left to dodge, Maverick already jumped under the arak to swing his right claw.
However, Uzi propelled himself upwards with vis telepathy to dodge, making it all the way at the top platform on the battle stage that was floating above the moon with an ammonia lake. Ve already snuck a levitating knife missile above the platform, pressing a button using telepathy to shoot it in an angle where it would go around Maverick's back. Unfortunately, Maverick caught a glimpse of it and dodged it himself, and he disappeared into the explosion it created on the lower platform he was standing on.
And before Uzi could even start searching for the talking lion among the flames and smoke, with a trail of clear blood almost reaching vis bubble-wrap-like eyes and an electronic hiss that signaled the drop to four hearts, Uzi winced at the slash across vis fan-shaped torso, and ve looked to the right to find Maverick landing on the same platform as ver with claws dampened by vis blood.
"Common," Maverick said. "Are you going to risk going into Kaya form to heal it or no? Show me your next move now."
And with a divine sputter that could only come from a beam from the influx gate, Uzi heard vis saving grace as ve looked away from his opponent to find two flying cats on a cosmic laser.
Uzi fired vis seven remaining knife missiles all at once to distract the lion as long as ve could, and ve threw verself into the beam as fast as ve could too.
"UZI!" Iker and Bastian yelled, Uzi making it on the radiant highway while the two talking cats drifted towards ver in joy.
However... all three of them swam around on the light tunnel to find Maverick jumping on and swimming on the light too.
"Nice try," Maverick taunted.
