Dave moved towards the side as Ban rushed towards him, dodging her advance.
Ban laughed and turned around to face him, “I thought we were going to clash our weapons, what’s wrong?”
Dave took his stance with his giant sword and spoke, “I doubt that would’ve ended well for you.” which caused Ban to laugh even harder before replying, “We’ll see about that!”
She plunged forward with her two daggers and clashed them with Dave’s sword, Dave simply stood there and took the full brunt of her force without moving an inch.
“I told you.”, he whispered before kicking Ban away, making her groan in pain. The pain didn’t last long however, as she smiled, wiped her face with her hands, and thought for a while before starting to laugh again.
“Good! This is what I wanted! A good fight!”
She looked over towards Dave, “What’s with you? Why the serious expression? Do you not enjoy this?”, she laughed again. Dave didn’t reply for a while but made sure to clench his sword, waiting for her to move forward, within his range but she didn’t. She just stared at him.
“Oh? You seem like you have some questions about me?”
“Why are you doing this?”, he blurted out, looking at her with rage in his eyes.
“Why?”, she pulled up her hand and gestured for him to wait, “Let me think...”, she walked around as if she was thinking about something very hard before finally adding, “Oh, I know!”, she smiled, “Because it’s fun!”, she started to laugh.
Dave couldn’t help but look at her with disgust, “Fun?”, he screamed before sighing and adding, “You’re horrible.” and clenched his sword again.
“I know.”, Ban smirked and smiled before plunging at Dave again.
Dave braced for impact while trying his best to find an opportunity to strike back but he never got the chance as Ban stopped right in her tracks and smiled, “I forget to mention...”, as she took out her daggers with a roped-tied towards the end and whipped it towards Dave, “... the money’s great too!”, she laughed.
Dave tried his best to parry the dagger coming towards him but he failed, the dagger did not hit him, instead, the rope tied to his hands as he exclaimed, “What?”. Not giving Dave a chance to figure out what was going on, Ban whipped her other dagger toward him, finally damaging him in the process.
“Looks like I got you! Does it hurt?”
Before Ban could do anything else, Dave pulled her towards him and punched with his full force which she barely dodged, and got her rope out of his hands before proceeding to attack him again in melee range.
“She’s going to aim to my right...”, Dave thought to himself before Ban sped herself up and attack him towards the left diagonally.

“She’s fast!”, Dave thought to himself.
“She’s fast!”, Ban smiled, “Is that what you just thought?”, she started to laugh as Dave fell to his knees.
She walked over to Dave who groaning in pain and plunged her dagger into his shoulder, “How does that-”
Before she could finish her sentence, Dave punched her, which she barely blocked, and before she could recover, he grabbed her legs and threw her with his full force and without batting his eyes, dashed towards her and tried to slash her with his sword.
Blood dropped.
It was, however, not a deep cut. Ban was able to dodge it at the last moment.
“This is going to be a pain...”, she groaned.
“Give up!”, Dave screamed.
“Huh?”
Ban didn’t pay attention to what Dave said. She couldn’t. Someone else was talking to her. Someone far more important. At least that’s what she felt at that very moment when the voice said, “Do you want to win?”, with a faint laughter. As if hypnotized by those words, Ban didn’t wait for a moment to pass before saying yes.
“I feel... power!”
She rushed towards Dave and started to attack him non-stop.
“She’s somehow faster...”, Dave tried his best to block her attacks but he couldn’t help but get pushed behind, “...and stronger!”
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
He also noticed that her eyes were darker than it was before but he could barely pay attention to them.
“What’s going on?”, Dave confused and battered with the damage he was taking could barely stand up.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
But he had to, he knew that he fell. If he lost. His squad would lose. He received multiple wounds but he took them all in and didn’t falter. He wouldn’t and knew he couldn’t.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Sister?”, asked a confused Dit, entering the fight range.
“Dit... Dit!”, Ban groaned in pain.
“What’s going on?”, she asked while still recovering.
“That’s what I was going to ask you...”, Dit replied, holding Ban so that she doesn’t fall.
“I don’t... know... I don’t... remember?”
She could hear a voice groan in disappointment from far away but she couldn’t point towards it nor could she notice its existence.
“Are you alright?”, asked a worried Dit.
“I’m fine... Don’t worry.”, Ban smiled.
“Are you done?”, asked Dave.
“Oh... you’re still standing.”, a disappointed Ban made some space in between her and Dave and asked Dit to do the same.
“I never fell.”
“Sadly.”
Out of nowhere, Ogre jumped down right in front of Dave. He would’ve screamed if he could.
“You’re finally here.”, Ban smiled as she ordered Ogre to attack Dave. “Attack him!”
Ban and Dit started to run away. “Where’s Doug?”, asked Ban.
“I asked him to free Slav.”
“Nice job!”, Ban laughed.
“Also, I am no longer bleeding!”, she laughed even more.
“Ok... Sister...”
“Wait! Where are you going?”, screamed Dave, trying his best to run after them only to get his plans thwarted by Ogre who shoved him aside.
Dave groaned in pain but he got up and noticed Ogre wearing a slave collar and sighed.
“Ogre!”, screamed Ogre, happy to be finally able to scream his catchphrase.
“Alright big guy!”, said Dave as he walked over towards Ogre, who towered over him and threw away his giant sword.
“Let’s do this!”, he screamed as he took his stance.
“Ogre!”
