Dave put his sword on the ground. Put one of his hands forward, and gestured for the ogres to come at him.
“Is he going to wrestle them?", thought the many watching in the background.
They were correct.
The ogres roared, and one of them charged ahead and punched Dave right in his face. Dave did not flinch. He cached the ogre’s hand and slammed him right on the ground. The ogre lay there unconscious.
The other ogres slightly backed off, but it wasn’t for long. This time, there were three of them who advanced forward.
Dave also rushed forward. He punched the first one and made them collide with the other two. Then he grabbed the ogre and swung them around, throwing all three of them on the ground.
Orph was surprised. “He’s strong...!”, he exclaimed.
“Of course, he is!”, replied Cess, acting like a proud mother.
Before Orph could reply, he saw someone or something in the corner of his eye. He looked at where he thought it was and found someone staring at him, as soon as he saw them. They ran away. Orph chased after them.
Cess didn’t notice, and neither did the others. They were busy watching Dave destroy some poor ogres.
The others didn’t include Eric, who actually did see Orph run toward the forest. He chased after him. “Orph? Where are you going?”, he screamed to the best of his abilities. But Orph was too far ahead of him.
“What is he doing?”, Eric questioned himself. Without thinking any longer, he chased after Orph as best as he could.
Orph was far ahead, the person he chased was only slightly faster than him. But it felt like they were giving him a chance to catch up. The person stopped sometimes to look back at Orph as if he was taunting him.
The person stopped in the middle of somewhat open space inside the forest and waited for Orph to join him.
“You’re really fast.”, said Median.
“Me? Fast? I should say that to you.”, replied Orph before taking his sword out of his sheath.
Orph noticed the collar on Median’s neck and spoke, "Surrender.”
“I wish I could.”
Orph sighed and closed his eyes. He charged straight toward Median with full force. Median easily dodged it. Orph tried to swing his sword but Median dodged it again. Before Orph could attack again, Median kicked him and made him fall down. Orph got up as fast as he could, but Median charged at him again. He barely blocked the attack.
“You’re strong...!”, said Orph gasping for breath.
Median let out a small laugh. This was the first time his eyes made an expression. He kicked Orph again but this time Orph couldn’t get back up.

“There’s that.”, said Median as he walked towards Orph.
“Is this the end?”, questioned Orph to himself. As Orph was ready to accept his fate, Eric came out of nowhere and stood there.
“Back up?”, asked Median.
“Eric, what are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing...”
“No. He’s too strong. Run away!”
Before Eric could figure out the weight behind Orph’s words. Median charged forward. He locked his eyes toward Eric and swung his sword, which Eric blocked easily.
Eric was surprised and spoke, “Is that...it?”
Median didn’t reply but swung his sword as much as he could, but they were all easily blocked.
Frustrated, he looked behind at Orph again and closed his eyes. Then he kicked Eric too, Eric couldn’t dodge it or do anything about it.
“How did he become so strong suddenly...?”, asked Eric after falling to the ground.
“You’re interesting... My job here is done, she’d be pleased.”
“Who’s she?”, asked Orph, barely able to stand up again.
Median didn’t reply but instead looked at Orph briefly before disappearing.
Orph went over to Eric and helped him up.
“You’re not going to chase after him?”, asked Eric still in pain.
“I can’t catch up to him, he’s slightly faster than me.”
“Only slightly?”
Orph jerked his head in annoyance. They both went back to where the others in their party were. When they reached there, they saw the Ogres running away from Dave.
“So, Knight Dave beat the ogres easily?”, asked Orph.
“Yes! Yes, and it was amazing!”, replied Cess with enthusiasm.
Dave picked up his sword and joined the others.
“You’re going to let them go?”, asked a royal guard.
Dave nodded back and replied, “They didn’t want to be here. Looks like someone forced them to be here.”
“I think I may have an idea about who that was.”, said Orph joining in on the conversation.
“Oh?”
“I chased after someone who had the same slave collar as the one who wounded you.”
Orph sighed and continued, “He was stronger than me, albeit only slightly.” with his head down.
Dave put his hand on Orph’s shoulders to give him reassurance and replied, "So, the Slave owners sent those ogres out here.”
Orph nodded.
The party was now more certain that they were facing a dangerous threat.
Meanwhile back on the cliff
“Looks like they ran away.”, said Ban laughing.
“Ogre...”
“Calm down, Ogre. I know it’s not your fault.” Ban smirked.
Median joined them soon after.
“How was he?”, asked Dit.
“Good. He was very good.”, replied Median.
“I wanted to go and check...”, said Slav frowning.
Ban put her hands on Slav’s head and rubbed it before speaking, “You already did your job well.” while smiling before leaving the cliff.
Dit and Slav followed her, leaving Median and Ogre behind.
“Oh well.”, sighed Median.
“Ogre?”
Median looked at Ogre before looking down.
“You know... I wanted him to be strong enough to free me...”, he said while clenching his fists.
“Maybe he is.”, he continued trying to smile.
“Ogre...”
Both of them sat down on the edge of the cliff.
“Being a slave isn’t very fun is it buddy?”
“Ogre...”, replied Ogre in a sad tone. They both sat there doing nothing but staring into the distance.
