A few days after that incident flyers distributed in towns, the flyers stated that a group of soldiers had been attacked by a vicious almost beast like man in the woods. A troop of soldiers were now sent by the new king to investigate the incident; more importantly to find out who was behind that criminal act. Reward money is given to anyone that has any valuable information.
When Akilah saw the flyers, she knew it was about her, however she wasn't bothered by it. Although she wasn't certain is that the girls would keep quiet about the incident since reward money was being offered, but even if they did tell the soldiers, she still wouldn't be caught. Akilah figured that she could rest easy knowing that they'll never find out that it was her because she had used a disguise, and in order not to get caught she simply would not use that disguise ever again.
Though the same can't be said for Adara since she wasn't wearing a disguise that day. That did worry Akilah to a certain extent however, Akilah figured that she just needed to make sure that Adara would wear a disguise every time they left the house. If anything were to happen, which was highly unlikely, Akilah would simply uproot their house and transported somewhere else. Although this was seen as a last option since Adara had grown familiar with the place.
There was another thing that was bothering Akilah, she was certain that she had casted the oblīviscor spell on soldiers that would make them forget about that whole incident, thus it made her wonder ‘how was her spell broken?’ and ‘was her spell possibly undone by someone else?’. This led her back to the conversation she had with ladybug about the man said wish to have powers strong enough to last for generations. Meaning that there is a possibility that the person that undid her spell might be descendants of that man.
These thoughts run through Akilah’s head almost daily, but she wasn't that she was nervous or anxious. No, the feeling that Akilah was feeling was more along the lines of excitement. She wanted to see the possible descendants of that man; she was curious. Although she lived a peaceful and happy life with Adara like she always wanted, things were starting to bore her a bit. Peacefulness is nice but four years of straight peacefulness after almost 10 years of savagery tended to make her a bit bored. She simply wanted some excitement in her life, something that she could observe from the side-line, that she did not need to be directly involved in.

Adara walked in after watering her garden and saw Akilah sitting next to the window looking at completely lost in thought Adara had noticed that Akilah seemed to be more lost in thought these days, as if something were occupying her mind. She assumed that it had to do with the soldiers coming to investigate the fighting incident. She didn't know how to approach Akilah about this since she didn't even know exactly why this had become of such interest for her in the first place. Because that already discussed it and Akilah had stated that she would change her disguise and avoid being caught. Clearly something about those flyers were occupying Akilah’s mind, Adara then decided to casually bring up the subject of the flyer and then hopefully Akilah would open up about what’s been bothering her.
“Hey, Aki” Adara said while sitting down next to her
“Yeah, what is it” Akilah responded while shifting her eyes from the window to Adara
“I’ve been wondering about the flyers…” Adara stopped to think quickly of what question she wanted to ask, she hadn’t thought this plan out thoroughly.
“How come they describe you as a beast man?” She finally settled with.
“Oh…That’s because of the aftereffects of the spell”
“Aftereffects?” Adara asked
Yeah” Akilah answered and sighed “When my spells are tempered with or broken it leads to aftereffects. In this case it was a forgetting spell, thus the aftereffects are that the persons memories of that event are now distorted, hence why they assume I’m a beast man.”
‘Broken spell’ Adara thought ‘I didn’t know that Aki’s spells could even be broken’.
“But Aki-”
Just as Adara was about to ask Akilah about how such a thing was possible their magical security monitor set of their alarms, someone was approaching the area of their house.
