Fate Stayed
It is by my writ the play started
It was by my stroke the music played
I wrote that the way forward was unbarred
Each jot and tittle a friendly reminder
My word is Law I am Fate
I am the Final Word
You would call me Canon
I am the Winner's Version of History
I give to you your role and yours souly
You will do what I say as I say
I am me and you are you and we are Fate
The clock rolls back
The word is erased
The story is retold
Fate is full and Fate is...

Flower
Oh little flower in your little field
Sky turning overhead with a soft breeze
Sun crossing lazily, leaving lingering heat
Little flower in your little field
Not far from you, a bigger field lies
With flowers in all shapes and size
They are different and unique
But you will never know it
Little flower in the little field

Homebound
One foot in front of the other, you step out into the wide new world
You said your goodbyes the best you can, now you stand at the gate

The doors swing and the road lays before you, to where, you wonder
This first step was the hardest taken, now you run further and faster
All the sights you did see, the towns and people met and now gone
You keep moving on, with each step forward a new adventure waits
The old adventures are carried along, some remembered, some forgot
The names and places blur together, those high stake moments passed
Now, what concerned you before, a distant memory and new ones rise
You wanted this journey, but were to scared to start, now you cant stop
You stood in the labyrinth of your mind
On the ship, Poseidon's fury did endure
The arena where Ares fell by sword
The forest where Artemis is no more
The mount where Olympus crumbled
Under the world where the dead walk
The trials of the gods, all beaten and gone
The story didn't work so it was rewritten and again
Your heart weighed and measured, found whole
There is only one place left for you to go
With all being finished, or is yet near
That final task finished, next road to go

Chase
100 count and chase, your speed is rivaled by none
Then one hour I give you to find them all
Hermes, the messenger, friend of Apollo
You came to stop me, but your pride won
Don't take it personal, it's a shared trait
You bit so quick, it's clear wit isn't your finest quality
In the bushes, in the trees, in the bird nest is three
Time is ticking so quick you can barely perceive
Your enemies are off to confront your boss
While you are still looking, seemingly at a loss
The last one you simply just can't find
You track us down and arrive, though much too late
A new sensation for you I am sure
All the speed in the world didn't make you fast enough
You were still tricked, your eyes deceived
Your race came up short, one short
You missed the one around my neck, which left you

100
There are so many things I want to write
But I can't quite put them all here now
So instead I will write only a few
It's been one hell of a ride
I've done all I've wanted
And I feel fulfilled
What more can I ask for?
My life hasn't been perfect
That's okay, I've given it my all
Love, I had no need for more
A good love that stood in time with me
A love that follows still into whatever comes next
I'm sorry to see life end
But I had a blast
My love will last.
