In the calm alley of a particular metropolis, various creatures animated the reclused and familiar environment. The bright star above embraced and warmed the early customers feasting upon the appetizing remains of meat of unknown origin and other myriads of nutriments. Invigorated by the fragrant scent of dumpsters, rodents dug deeper in search for more scrumptious delicacies while canidae and felines sniffed and plunged their heads into large trash bags.
Once again however, their pleasant breakfasts was interrupted by an unusual event. In the deepest parts of the alley, cracking sounds resounded as 'fractures' began appearing on a small spot in the air. The more the fractures expanded, the more fearful the nearby creatures became, their primal senses blaring at them to get as far away as possible.
Gladly trusting their survival instincts, beasts of all sizes and shape began a race towards the alley entrance. Whether it was prey or predator, none of them currently cared about their status and mostly focused on hastily escaping the insecure alley. As they finally left the place, dozens of creatures scattered amongst pedestrians and passing vehicles.
"Ahhhhh!" The less courageous women and men alike quickly made way for the fleeing animals, while involuntarily letting out high pitched screams. Rodents quickly plunged into the gutters, and cats used their acrobatic gifts to swiftly jump over walls and obstacles. The leftover dogs however, madly dashed towards the unknown.
The cause of the disturbance however, did not stop its expansion until it almost reached the height of a street lamp, and the dimensions of a truck. Finally, a shattering sound echoed, and a purple portal manifested itself into existence. Remaining fractures were quickly fading as the the glowing gateway eventually stabilized.
"Just in time."
Not far away from the portal, a figure slowly turned visible, starting from the lower body, and continuing until it showed messy black hair and deep black eyes. Leisurely sitting on a stair way from an elevated platform, the man curiously 'gazed' at the amethyst manifestation.

Evaluation: A mysterious portal leading to unknown territories

A single jump and Blake arrived before the portal. With grey shirts and deep blue pants, he approached the slightly revolving matter and plunged one hand into it.
"Feels liquid."
Blake then drew a large breath, his cheeks inflated like a squirrel full of nuts. He then took a large step and engulfed his whole body into the amethyst gate. With the last parts of Blake entering the portal, purple matter began to quickly shrink. From the size of a truck to a chair, and then shrinking further, until it completely disappeared.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
A minute later, a man entered the empty alley, curiosity written on his face, he scrutinized every corner of the alley but founding nothing, he scratched his head.
"Weird."
Turning back, he left the alley, while wondering what might have scared the dozens of animals.
...
A hand passed through purplish color, then an arm, a leg and finally a whole body. An unknown environment then welcomed a black haired man. Tropical in nature, vibrant noises emerged from the multitude of trees and vegetation surrounding him. Above his head, plastered in the azure sky, three celestial bodies stood close to each other. Two below and one above, the trinity illuminated the vivacious land.
In the far horizon, a large tower of unmeasurable proportion pierced the boundless sky, while giant clouds revolved around its gigantic mass.
As Blake observed the horizon, a small but ruthless creature akin to a bug mixed with a racoon silently moved between large brushes, and as he c
arrived behind his back, it suddenly leaped. Its abnormal large maw wide open as it aimed at the man's jugular.
*SPLAT*
Blake gently waved his hands without looking behind, and as if slapping a passing mosquito, greenish blood exploded, staining the fresh soil and a frowning Blake.
"Weird way of greeting people."
Returning his gaze back to the faraway tower, he asked.
"The War God should still be dead by now, right?"
[Affirmative]
[Host might encounter some of his remnants however]
"Right, his unkillable reputation wasn't baseless after all."
As we was about to take his first step towards his objective however...
The world freezed, the vibrant noises disappeared, and creatures stopped moving. Except for Blake, the world stopped, as if frozen in time. Then, a deafening voice echoed. Deep, majestic, and tyrannical.
*Welcome to my domain, mortal*
*As the first challenger, prove your worth by making your way towards the tower.*
*Once you reach the place, the real trials will begin*
The voice then began to fade but Blake could feel some mockery from its last words, as if it was about to watch an interesting show.
"I feel like I haven't prepared enough to face what that crazy bastard is going to send me." Blake looked around him, wary of the still silent environment.
However, it didn't last long. One roar echoed, then two and finally dozens resonated. Like an earthquake, the soil trembled. Trees were brought down one after another as heavy clouds of smoke emerged. And at this moment, Blake felt like he became an enemy, the common enemy of the mysterious wilderness. Innumerable amounts of eyes pried at him, lurking and waiting.
And as the clouds of smoke grew closer, Blake saw exotics, deadly creatures dashing at him. Sharp claws, mouths, horn and so on. Their whole body were suited for being ruthless killing machines.
"Let's begin."
One monster emerged from the ground and the man stomped his feet, liquids and monster parts splattered as Blake leaped, evading the monsters' charge. A small, bluish bird aperceived the flying Blake and suddenly charged at him. Its aerodynamic beak glowing a sharp light as it dangerously approached the man.
*CRAW*
A hand disappeared in a box shaped hole and reappeared, and a rectangular piece of clothing was suddenly launched towards the incoming bird. Whistling as the clothes cut the wind, it approached the bird and before it could react, swiftly bisected its body. One half fell towards a reddish pond while the other dropped on land, next to another animal. The latter quickly ate the free meal and then madly sprinted towards the running Blake.
With his heightened senses and advanced stats, even though he was not familiar with the environment, Blake still managed to somewhat traverse the verdant domain. Slashing, cutting, and trampling against anything remotely aggressive, the man kept looking at the distant tower while he was being pursued by the whole ecosystem.
Still running while being drenched in a mixture of green, blue and crimson blood, he suddenly evaded bullets of projectiles. The few, which managed to hit him exploded upon contact and soaked the man with transparent liquid, almost pallid in color. The man felt something that he did not feel for a while, slight pain. The liquid was gnawing at his skin like hungry ants ravenously devouring a block of sugar.
He turned his gaze above and squinted his eyes. Thousands of yellow creatures similar to monkeys with small protruding, blackish horns looked at Blake as if they were seeing their next meal.
"Coconuts? You guys are using coconuts as weapons? Do you even respect your opponents?"
The man said with a scowl and an underwear swiftly cut the neck of a laughing primate.
The simian foes looked at their brethren's corpse, and as one of them let out a roar, multiple others followed.
And in a luxuriant forest, a man began a legendary clash. Primates were skillfully launching corrosive coconuts in the front, while the remnant fauna tried to take a bite out of him in the rear.
"I'm already hating that Wargod. System make sure to tell me where he hides his most precious treasures. What's the use of coming back to life if you become dirt poor."
