Chapter 8 - The Division
I got to the Division Head Office the next day and showed the letter at the front desk after checking it they showed me to a room and told me to wait for the unit commander, they are the one's incharge of units in the division after a while of waiting the commander entered the room.
He introduced himself as Rico Masin the unit commander who is responsible for the units in the division and one of his duties is to see the joining of members and their training making sure they are ready to deal with anything thrown at them.
He then got straight to the point saying I must be confused about being accepted as a member of the division even though I failed the test to which I concurred with, he then with a laugh started to explain that I didn't need to be confused as the test officer had vouched for my skills and after looking at the spar they had recognised that I was indeed someone who has potential and decided to give me the special entry and incase I think I don't deserve it or it seems unfair to others and they would say that I'm getting partiality.
He just wants me to remember that special entry needs go through every high ranking member of the division and a majority have to give their seal for it to be accepted and just ignore what others have to say because it's not worth wasting time on it and if they become a bother he would personally deal with it and I will have the help of the best in the field and he predicts that I would be one of the strongest in the division in a few years with training and experience that no one will be able to say that I didn't have a place here.
Even though I was still a bit hesitant about it, didn't really have a reason to refuse since it just makes my life easier so I agreed and after getting all the necessary information, after all the joining procedures were completed Rico officially welcomed me as a member and that he expects great things from me to which "I will try my best" was my reply and he responded that he knows I will.

After telling me that the 299th division leaders would be here soon and since he has work to do he left and pretty soon after Rico left the door opened again and a familiar excited voice greeted me saying he knew I wouldn't refuse this offer and it was Jack who appeared I was taken aback for a second seeing my reaction Jack laughed and introduced himself as the leader of the 299th division and the person next to him as the co-leader Hera Desol who was the person that healed me in the test ground after talking with them I came to know they are the ones who got me this special entry as they are both credible people and have a high standing in the division.
Jack couldn't wait to start training me and wanted to start right away, Hera told him to slow down and let me meet the others in the team and to get used to how things work here, Jack retorted to that saying there was more than enough time for that and doing is the best way to get used to something, Hera realised that she couldn't get him to change his mind and gave me a look of pity and I soon realised why she gave that look as it turned out Jack was obsessed with training and he trained people intensely and I was running with heavy weights through a twisty, uneven path, I was already tired within a few minutes of running but jack was right behind me not letting me take a break and the difficulty of the path did not decrease I was now trying to run though a muddy road, my legs were digging into the mud and it was getting difficult for me to move I was going at the snail's pace and Jack was yelling behind me to move faster after a while of struggling I finally managed to get through it and I was really exhausted and was already pushing myself by this point and Jack told me that we weren't still done yet and I really couldn't stand it anymore and breathlessly said I can't move any further I'm too tried.
