It was over a hundred years since she last heard words so similar, he said words just like that long ago that man, that man whose memory she held onto so tightly that man Mifune, but when he said those words, he wasn't yet a man he was still just a boy around the same age as this boy. She remembered how tightly he held onto her on that battlefield the blood stanning his hands tears falling down his cheeks yes, she remembered now he was just a boy then a boy sent to war. As Mifune held her he screamed how he made a promise he made a promise that he would return home.
Recalling that treasured memory the katana in Jake's hand began to shake even more violently and a black substance started seeping through the sheathed sword as time felt slowed Jake noticed the reaction coming from the blade, and he wasn't the only one for the large man swinging his own blade to kill Jake and his group noticed as well. He was shocked and this shock made the man hesitate mentally, but not Jake the moment Jake saw what the katana was doing he knew what to do without needing to be prompted, Jake dropped the dagger and polearm that he held in his hands and as if it was instinct he reached down and grabbed the katanas hilt and in a single fluid motion he pulled it or better yet he pulled her out of her scabbard.
He unsheathed it he unsheathed her the very moment the blade touched the air darkness erupted from it, the darkness was so black so thick it was so strong that it forced all near Jake away like a tidal wave even the large man wasn't spared, he tried his best to fight it and he fought better than the other four slum kids who were sent flying like twigs in the wind but his best wasn't good enough.
(Did he do that?)
He thought as he was pushed back.
"He unsheathed it, he unsheathed that unruly blade?"
The force from the mass of darkness knocked him backwards into the side of one the mansions, the darkness pinned him there because it kept growing stronger every second that passed more and more darkness came from the sword, it spread all over the courtyard it began to reach the roof of all the mansions scattered throughout, it even managed to reach the top of the roof of the main mansion which caught Nefetari who was still fight Gilda on that same roof by surprise.
"Is this for real?"
He thought and that one thought was shared equally among every member of the Sullivan family that was there to witness this display, beside the large man and Nefetari that were on the ground everyone else were still high in the sky in the helicopters.
"Who is that boy?"
One of them said out loud.
"What the hell is going on!?"
Another said.
"Is that what I think it is?"

A woman asked in one of the helicopters, she then began tapping the man sitting next to her furiously.
"Nolan is that what I think that is?"
The middle-aged man sitting next to his nagging wife didn't even turn to look in her direction, his eyes remand fixed on the scene down below.
"I assume that it is."
He spoke.
"But I wouldn't know for sure since I've never seen it in action myself, but if I was a betting man which we both know I am."
The man smirked.
"I'd say, it is what we both are thinking it is, but if it truly is that then…"
The man started to rub his beard becoming lost in thought.
"If it truly is then how did some random boy manage to unsheathe it? He unsheathed a sword that has refused to have another wielder in the past 100 years, that stubbornness is why we gave her the nickname the unruly bitch of a blade number 20 the princess of shadows Tsubaki."
Back on the ground the pinned man started to regain himself he started taking slow but precise steps toward Jake's possession as he did, he readied his blade.
"Oh, Judas ain't messing around!"
One of the Sullivans said as the giant man called out the name of his sword.
"Beowulf"
He said with his deep booming voice he was about to give it a command, but he didn't have time to, the second Jake saw the giant prepare to swing again he dropped the scabbard then grabbed the sword named Tsubaki, he grabbed her hilt with both his hand and when he did all the darkness that was spreading across the Sullivans courtyard imminently returned to its point of origin. All the darkness ingulfed the blade coating it in a thick smog of black darkness then he jumped Jake jumped as high and as hard as he could then he screamed, he screeched a battle cry as he brought the smog covered blade down on the man named Judas and as he did, he stated his goal.
"I am going home!!"
Before Tsubaki could harm him, Judas blocked the on coming clash with his own sword Beowulf, the moment the two blades met sparks of darkness were seen the two stayed locked in this clash for only a brief moment then anger flared up on Jakes face.
"I said I'm going!"
He pulled the katana back then swung it back down with blinding speed and aggression.
"Home!!"
Tsubaki clashed once again with Beowulf but this time the strike was twice as strong as the last one, the force of the attack not only knocked Judas back into the mansion, he was just pinned to but this time he was sent through the mansion's walls.
"My house!"
One of the Sullivans still on the helicopter screamed, Jake managed to forced Judas through a wall and into the mansion the action startled maids and butlers that were inside this mansion they scattered like insects, but the two men locked in combat paid them not mind Jake continued to chase after Judas releasing slash after slash, he didn't let up he never stopped only continuing to move forward. If he were a lesser man Judas would have already been consumed by Jakes raw ferocity, but he wasn't such a man, unlike the boy in front of him Judas had Beowulf by his side for many years the man had experience something Jake lacked. The large man effortlessly blocked and parried everyone of Jakes attacks, it was impressive because each attack got stronger and stronger, the man didn't yet retaliate he was waiting for his moment when he found it, he kicked Jake hard in the gut sending him flying back into some furniture.
If the adrenaline wasn't pumping though his veins the boy would have been laid out flat, but he immediately got back to his feet charging at Judas, and that's what he was expecting Judas simply wanted to put some distance between them as Jake charged Judas swung his blade as he called out to it.
"Beowulf 100 pounds"
In his single-minded resolve Jake didn't even notice Judas swinging his sword at him and even if he did there wouldn't be much, he could do, it was over for him… that's it…the end… or that's what I would have said until Jake heard a voice call out to him.
It was a woman's voice, and it was loud but because of their fight there was no one around them, yet still Jake heard it clear as day loud as if it was one of his own thoughts.
He heard it again even louder this time.
Jake didn't argue nor did he try to find the source of were the voice came from he simply did as he was told and dropped to the floor Judas's swing completely missing him, the shockwave from the swing broke every window and shattered every glass in the mansion, Jakes sudden movement surprised Judas he thought he would have sliced the boy in two by now, but he dodged it as if he was expecting it, as Jake laid crouched on the floor he heard the voice speak again.
So, he did jake swung the katana upward toward the mountain of a man, Judas barley managed to dodge it.
The voice commanded, and he did Jake swung the sword back down clashing once again with Judas's own sword, the large man took his free hand and placed it on the back of his blade then with all his might he pushed knocking the boy back for a second, time putting distance between the two once more, but Jake didn't charge at the man instantly they both took a moment to catch the breath.
"Not bad"
The man said.
"Not half bad you little shit"
