Third Persons P.O.V:-
The store changed, options increased, but that wasn’t all. The changes which occurred this time were not just qualitative, but also quantitative. The store which once only had the function to show them property price, unlocked, and became a genuine wide range branded shop which held all the materials and items to fulfill anyone’s desires. Now, to even call it something entirely different instead of just a simple upgrade or feature wouldn’t be an exaggerating at all.
The newly added features included the completely indexed options of all and everything that could be needed with the DLC addition of a new and complete Illusion Trap pack.
“WTF Minie! What the actual fuck!”
“Yeah, it totally got insane in the time we didn’t take a look at it.”
“Insane? You call this insane? Where should I start my yammering from?”
She snorted hearing him act like a chunni, and reprimanded him for trying to gather attention of all the people present.
“Just quickly get over your emotions. We have got work to do.”
“Fuck, this is amazing! This is too fucking Amazing! Who could have known…”
Veins in the shape of a cross bulged over her forehead when his awareness didn’t come back to reality, and he continued to exaggerate things like a year old kid. But he had also gotten quite sensible living with her and knew when to stop.
“Okay stop.”
“FUUU, alright. I am stopping, I have stopped, no I haven’t actually, but I am trying though.”
And sighed to her and asked him in a heavy tone of voice. Her mood was explicitly defined by that alone, so Rocky actually got serious.
“So what first.”
“Firstly, what the hell kind of a store is this? Why are there no prices and items listed on it?”
She deeply looked at the crystal quivering in excitement, before she answered respectfully.
“MY idiot master; how long do you think the list would have been, if all the items and products weren’t indexed like this?”
“Oh! So they all are indexed? Mean if I click on one of the options, then all of the items under it pop out in front of me, right?”
“Yes.”
“Alright then.”
He said excitedly and she asked hurriedly, losing her calm collected demeanor in the process.
“Wh- What are you going to do?”
But before she could complete her sentence, Rocky had already clicked on the one option which he eagerly wanted to look upon.
Damn right, it was the Mana Stones, no, not the skills. Actually his vision got so clouded by the mana stones that he didn’t even see anything else. The reason was simple. Firstly, there was a ghost warrior sitting stiff in his monster store, waiting to get bought, but his impudence to ask a mana stone in exchange wasn’t a trifling matter at all. Moreover, even the newly added illusions traps were hungry for mana stones and refused to work before getting their stomach filled. So, because something simple thing like that had so many uses, waiting to be provide entertainment, then how could his attention not get grabbed by the charm of a multi colored, disco light wannabe stone.
Though his eagerness was completely shown in his actions, and the “Fu, Fu” sounds which he was continuously making wee also trouble, but his yell of rage and the stiff laugh from Minie which came after they saw the prices was also nothing short of a Perfectly timed tsukkomi by the Dungeon system.
It was like the system was saying, “Your time to laugh is over, it now my time. IT’S SHOW TIME”

“Oh boy.”
“Just that?”
“What more do you want me to say?”
“Nah, it’s okay This much is okay. It’s not like I’m faring any better than you.”
“Alright then, what should we do now?”
“Well Minie, how much do we in our savings?”
She pondered a little and then checked the amount on the interface before answering him.
“A little over 5000Dc, but Why are you asking?”
And she tilted her little head in confusion, as her glossy green hair waved in the air scattering an aesthetic charm and indulging notion into the surrounding.
Rocky kept on staring at her beautiful small oval face, which quite frankly bewildered Minie a little.
“Wha- what happened? Why are you staring at me like that?”
“No, nothing. Ahem… I was just thinking of reviving the spirit monster. It needs a great mana stone right?”
The conversation changed and so did the awkward mood, but new worries crept over their present.
“Yeah, it does, but…”
“Don’t worry I m not going to directly buy the stone form the system?”
“Then what? It’s not like you can create them…?”
“……”
“Don’t tell me!”
Her hands moved own their own and expressed her surprise with their fast and denying movements.
But Rocky agreed with her and confirmed what she was trying to say.
“Yeah, we can’t make them, as they take a lot of time to create, but what about refilling the used empty shells? That would work right?”
“Refilling them? Are you crazy?” she massaged her temple with her hands and whispered to herself, “Though if it works, will save us a lot of hassle and credits, but still…?”
And as if a ghost had suddenly appeared directly in front of her, Rocky spoke trying to assure her that they was nothing to lose in the first place, as atmost they could consider it a fail experiment and be done with the idea of artificially creating Mana stones.
“We won’t gain anything without taking risks right? So let’s just do it. All we need to do is to buy some empty mana stones, some fairy dust, put them in a mana rich environment and voila, our experiment will conduct itself on its own and we’ll only have to check for results and if we somehow got lucky ten we’ll get our own mana stone cave.”

“BUT…”
“Yes I understand that we’ll have to preserve and hide it from the hungry humans, but other than that we won’t have any other problem regarding that, right.”
She literally stared at him for a minute when his reason finally broke the wall called fear in her heart and she lost the war of words.
“Sigh… so you are not going to change your decision?”
“NOPE!”
His happy playful voice was clearly telling how happy he was of his decision and his partner.
“Then do it. Just dig a deep hole somewhere and do whatever you want to do. But make sure you hide it like you are hiding your stash of por… well, you probably understand what I want to say.”
“Yes, Madam. Cadet will fulfill and take all the necessary precautions to keep the secret safe.”
“Yare yare.”
“But how many mana stones should I buy?”
“It’s only costs 1Dc for a single piece, so go loose and buy a hundred or two. We should take the experiment seriously right.”
“Okay.”
Then he got to work and bought 300 Empty mana stone shells and ordered his ants to dig a deep hole in the corner of the second floor.
But because the hole dug by the ants got too big and easy to notice, he abandoned it and instead ordered the ants to dig a hole in the ceiling.
The ants climbed the walls and chomped down the ceiling like it was made of butter. They hallowed it and created a secret attic of sorts.
Though the mana stones were also a type of stone, but there was a huge difference between both of them. Unlike most stones, all of the mana stones were smooth as a fine piece of jade and shimmering and giving out very faint light. They were slightly cold to touch, but had toughness exceeding even diamond.
Rocky reluctantly placed his recently bought shells in the newly created treasure vault and then he sprinkled a Kg of mana dust over them and stuffed the dugout dirt and stones back into the hole.
“Minie, should I also reserve some of my mana for them?”
“I don’t know? Well, you can do that if you want after all mana stones need fresh supply of mana to grow~”
“Okay~ as you say then.”
The question was generic and its answer was also easy so he quickly did his part and reserved his mana for a constant supply to the stones. Well, he would have been in quite a bind if his level hadn’t grown after the recent human skirmish, but because it had, that is why he faced no problem and had enough mana to reserve 1-2 hundred for the stones. But he dint get impulsive and only reserved about 150 Mp for them and then they waited.
Both of them had already accomplished a lot in a single day, killed a lot of people and wanted to rest, but before they could even get a snore out cry of the queen rang out in the cave.
The cave shook and started vibrating and swaying like an earthquake had come to disperse its rage on them.
“Huh, what happened?”
“An intruder?”
“No, doesn’t seem like it. Let’s just go and check it out.”
“Okay.”
Though her roar meant that something unusual had happened, but they didn’t stress over it. After all it was the queen they were talking about, their ultimate defense mechanism who could take on Five B rankers aloe and make them submissive.
So, they travelled hurriedly, but calmly to where the queen and the eggs were resting at.
Yes, the eggs also got teleported to the new room with the queen like they were a part of her. They hurried there and got to her sooner than they thought they would, but surely what greeted them was a surprise in the least and definitely called for some celebrations.
Yes, it impressed them. It was not a single thing though. No, it wasn’t even a thing at all. There was a huge pile of broken egg and shells scattered everywhere, while a group of larvae were wriggling on the ground. Some were even trying to climb over the queen.
Time had slowly but surely trickled through the gaps and before they knew a total of 8 hours had passed after they had bought their first batch of eggs from the system.
When they saw that all of the eggs had hatched and all the larvae’s were healthy, a beautiful smile transformed Minie’s face into a flower garden full honey candies and mushy feelings. Their hearts got filled with love and a pink heart definitely formed behind the pair and sparkling dust shimmered around them, but
“No, mutation?”
*CRACK*
Yes, that was the sound of their floating pink heart cracking RIGHT in the middle when the larvae’s roaming around showed no mutation or even a slight change of behavior. They all acted like a well trained circus party and wiggled around doing the Sha- Sha.
“Yeah, like I said there won’t be any mutation or evolution until we by the evolution pack, which is a hope of the distant future. But if we really want to get there one day then we should buy the third now that we have the money. After all one more floor bought today leads to one less floor to buy tomorrow.”
“Don’t mind, Minie, Don’t mind. The money problem has already been taken care of. The mushrooms are enough to give us a high amount of Credits on their own. Though they take three days to grow, but isn’t 10000Dc / 3 days an highly exaggerated amount of return they are giving. Moreover, think about it, every time we will harvest the mushrooms our dungeon will decent the dark abyss and al the sources of light will vanish. A dungeon which change its difficulty and setting every two days! Doesn’t this hold a very nice ring to it?! Isn’t this a great idea?”
Rocky was systematically talking and was mostly talking to himself, but the stars in Minie’s eye and her shiver of excitement plus the excited moans coming from her cherry soft lips were… were…
“GULP!”
“HAI, HAI. This is so~ great~ Ann~”
*Shiver!*
But ero atmosphere was like a flash of lightening which struck Rocky, but after that the clouds clouding over his sense other than his manliness dissipated and the same old Devil greeted him again.
“Yes it is, but you also know, money is not everything for a dungeon, especially you. You also need to grow strong and expand your mana pool.”
“Yes, yes. Kill humans and grow levels. I know, but when will they the adventurers come?”
Silence prevailed over the universe before the occurrence of Big Bang and the same silence was now engulfing them both, as they reminisced and longed for the day when their life would start and the action packed drama of relations and emotions would unfold in front of them.
