Third Persons P.O.V:-
Minie and Rock they both looked closely at the newest addition to their monster options. Though they hadn’t bought it yet, but getting to see something so spectacular and miraculous happening was a sight in itself for them. Rocky wanted to directly buy it, but mine urged him to first read its specifications, as the conditions required to be fulfilled weren’t anything good.
After all, IT needed a high grade mana stone and a ‘???’ for its condition. They both looked at each other and nodded as Rocky asked the interface to provide more information about the soul and it did just that.
Nameless Soul(S)when a person dies its magical powers, help it to cover the distance between the mortal world and the spiritual realm, but when sometimes due to unprecedented reasons a human is not able to cover the distance, it don’t et to leave the mortal world and losing its morality and memories in the process. This loss results in its adaptation to a new kind of life, a spiritual life called ghosts.Rank1Level10Restrictions:
Need a greater mana crystal
Can’t buy more than one soul at a time.
Won’t listen to the master's commands.
Will kill every living thing in its sight.
Can't regenerate mana.
They felt good to have another option to spend their resources on, but the limitations of this monster proved to have a fatal flaw in its use.
“But why can we only buy one? Isn’t this kind of cruel to us?”
“No Rocky, I think, I understand why the system is restricting us from buying more than one of these souls.”
She wanted to prove her brilliance and be praised so she directly gave the answer to her- self laid question, but her preparations failed in front of Rocky.
“Because this soul belongs to someone who died in our dungeon and one soul can only bring create one monster.” Both said the same thing, moreover, at the same time, which was very astonishing.
Minie couldn’t understand how they both came at the same decision at the same time, but she still smiled thinking that there is truth in unity.
“So you knew the reason?” Minie asked in confusion. After all, even if it was a wild guess, it was still impossible for anyone to think of such an answer without holding any prior information about the topic. But Rocky’s reply shattered her confusion like a hammer shattering glass.
“OH! Actually, No, I didn’t come to the answer on my own. It’s just that you got too excited and your mental wave reached and leaked your thought to me and I just repeated after them, which in time made our answers to sync and created boundless timing between them.”
Minie’s face turned deep red when she heard him say ‘you leaked something’, but before Rock could catch any disturbance in her nature, her complexion she turned normal and she exhaled a breath of relief.
“So is it someone who died In our dungeon?”
“Seems like it.”
He looked back at her annoyed. Because he was only thinking about the reason in his own mind which was clearly hacked and read by the small petite fairy flying in front of him on her discretion.
But he didn’t curse or asked her to stop and only sighed before sharing his doubts with her.
“But who does this soul belong to? I don’t understand. Why did only one of the souls stayed behind, why didn’t all of them? Why?”
“Oh! It’s simple.” She said.
“I think there is only one such person who died inside our dungeon.”
Her voice contained a hint of melancholy, which in turn bewildered Rocky but he still followed suite and asked her, “Huh, who is it?”
But then his memories flashed in his mind and he understands that there was only one such human whose soul couldn’t have covered the distance to the spiritual world.
“Correct. And the winner is..”
He didn’t get swayed into her pace and calmly replied back.
“Is it The archer who turned into a demon.”
“Yes, yes, I think so too. I think, his conversion from a human to a demon forcibly used all of his energy and whatever was left.” She then shrugged her shoulders and continued, “We absorbed the rest. And because his soul couldn’t leave the dungeon, the system confused him with a monster and added the option for us to buy him again.”
“Damn, we are getting gains from him even after his death,”
“Yeah.” She shook her head left to right when she heard him say that.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“Forget it.” He said and continued by saying, “Forget about the buying and other restrictions as our monsters are not living creatures relatively speaking and him not being under my control is also not a problem, but I am still concerned, concerned about him needing a Mana stone. Why would it need a Mana stone and a great one at that?”
To his seriously asked question Minie replied in a lackluster way, pointing at the last line of its restrictions.
“Because it can’t regenerate mana and it needs a source of mana to conjure its presence, to make its form. Otherwise, it would just dissipate into the surroundings without any energy.”
He nodded his head as if saying that he understood everything, but then his nodding stopped. He abruptly looked at mine, which obviously startled her and started a rapid fire question round with her. His excitement and joy could be clearly understood from his aura and his voice.
“SO, so you mean, it will be able to keep its form intact and move about if it uses a greater mana stone?”
“Yes, that is right. But what are you getting so excited for? It is a normal thing for monsters to have a mana stone embedded in their bodies.”
“Just keep listening and keep on telling me whether I am right or not.”
“Okay, no worries. It’s my duty after all. Answering your questions, that is.”
“Now, tell me, can a greater mana stone regenerate its mana on its own?”
She felt tired listening to such simple question. SO her lackluster behavior continued, as she replied while scratching her head.
“No, it can’t. Only a mana crystal, like your heart has the ability to do so.”
“Then, won’t the soul be able to regenerate its mana and fill its mana stone, it if it learnt the mana regeneration skill?”
“Huh?” She felt bewildered? She actually hadn’t considered anything about that. At first, she had thought that though the ghost was unique and everything, but it wasn’t of any use to them, they had their buff ant worker after all, but his question made her rethink the situation.
“I think, yes? Maybe he will be able to do that, once he learns mana regeneration. After all, it’s a mana stone after all. It should have the ability to get refilled. But why are you asking me this. Surely you don’t want to buy empty mana stones and refill them.”
“Haaha. He almost didn’t hear her reply after hearing her say ‘Sure’, but the stone Reuse idea made him intrigued. But he followed with,
“Great, it is great. Now my last question to you; we both know that I can’t leave this dungeon right. Now tell me is it me who can’t leave this dungeon or is it my Mana crystal, which is the heart of my dungeon.”
“Yes, you are right. Your mana crystal can’t leave this dungeon. But why are you ask…”
She spoke up to that and then her eyes bulged out. She finally understood, why he was asking her so many questions. She finally understood, what was making him so excited. She looked at him and the strong and sickening positive aura which he was emitting confirmed her doubts even more, as she cried out.
“NO WAY! Don’t tell me you just found a way to leave the dungeon!” She spoke so loudly that her thin and crisp voice echoed inside the furniture less room and to her question Rocky answered with a creepy laugh.
“Ha-ha, absolutely marvelous, isn’t it. Who would have thought that a simple monster from the system would give me the information and a way to face and experience the outside world?”
“But, but you can’t leave the dungeon! How will you leave the dungeon when you can’t even posess…”
She was talking about how he would posses or shifts his presence to a mana stone, when she remembered that he had been doing the presence shifting from the start. He has been shifting in and out between the walls and his crystal for a long time after all.
“Right, but we still have to wait for the resource option to unlock. I want to know how costly a greater mana stone really is or we could also try to buy some empty mana stone and like you said try to refill them.”
They continued their bickering with excitement unknown to the danger which was coming towards them from the dark corners of the human establishment.
Walking together were 25 humans in leather armors and they were holding a Variety of weapons like; short swords, axes, daggers and the likes. They all followed behind a one eyed fat pimp who was clearly their leader. It was easy to distinguish him from the others because of his menacing looking black armor and the red sword dangling from his waist.
