Pov Lea
The cocoon of warbling multicolored magic had dropped a girl right before Lea. Who had readied her weapon unsure if she was under attack.
The girl before her had a bewitching allure about her. She was wearing a Silken ebony dress that came down to her knees with a moderate cut around the neck no more than a few inches showing just a bit of her somewhat ample cleavage, finally, the dress was adorned with a dark violet hood.
Her hair was the color of a setting sun tied up in an intricate elegant braid complimenting her warm Olive skin.
She dropped her guard a bit. The girl she noticed was unconscious and tears streaked her face.
She thought she looked a little familiar but dismissed it from her mind. Gathering her resolve she slowly brought her hand on the girl's shoulder.
Shaking the girl. Lea said, "Hey, wake up who are you?" The girl didn't respond.
Having tried a few more times she gave up on the seemingly worthless endeavor.
Shrugging, she looked at the destruction just ahead of her. A small smile cracked her ruby lips.
"Well you showed me the way and for that, I am in your debt." She declared giving a short glance to the unconscious woman before her.
Lea had already decided to find a way back to the place she had left and this girl had just shown her the way.
Just as she was about to leave her. She glanced back sighing and decided to take her along. It was dangerous to leave people out in the wilderness, she thought.
Stealing her resolve one more time she looked at the way ahead.
Lea then grabbed ahold of her and started to carry her on her back then with purpose she walked the way she came. Though this time she not only had an almost clear path she also knew where she was going.
The trek was easier than walking through the forest trekking through bramble and various vines and other fauna. This though didnt make the distance any smaller and even after hours of walking, she was only about halfway.
Rustle rustle. Crack
“Shit who is there,” Lea said cautiously a hint of fear and uncertainty could be heard in her voice.
Grrr rawr
She didnt even have the time to set the girl down before the multiple creatures were surrounding her.
Six black wolves now encircled her they saw her and the person she was caring for as easy prey.
She took in her situation and withdrew her sword fire erupting from her blade as she activated her skill “Ignite” she practically whispered.
Her blade was now consumed in the extreme heat of the fire.
The crimson fire made the wolf's purple eyes shine bright. The appearance of the fire made the wolves a bit more cautious slowing the encirclement just enough for Lea to come up with a plan.
Knew she needed to act fast or the ones behind her would take advantage of the intrinsic fear of fire all animals share won't last long she knew this from experience.
Turning to her right where just a few dozen meters there was a tree line. Dashing forward she swung her sword in a beautiful arc of metal and flame. She chopped the head off of one of the beasts and turning her waist she shifted her body causing the sword to whip around and cut the other wolf deeply in the neck. It had already jumped forward trying to catch her off guard.
She knew had mere seconds before the other were on she ran forward letting her sword graze the grass behind her as she kept her sword off to her side. Her sword still ablaze causing a massive forest fire.

She knew she would get lost if she moved too far from the clearing leading to the portal so she kept that in mind as she angled back towards the clearing but much further on than where she was.
She heard the wolves howl loudly hundreds of meters behind her not wanting to take any chances she broke back into the clearing and ran as fast and as far as she could.
Lea having finally reached her destination after hours of running collapsed to her knees out of breath.
The portal lay a few hundred meters above her very head. As if taunting her just out of reach.
The warbling mass of purple and black looks like a hole in spacetime.
Though similar to a vacuum it had a minor suction force that Lea could feel though not strong enough from where she kneeled to pull her into it.
“Things are never simple in my damn life,” Lea said after a labored breath.
She decided it was in her best interest to take a short break while she thought about her next actions.
Still hearing the howls they seemed to be closing on her she had barely managed to outpace them this whole time.
“Do these fucking beasts ever quit I can't be that damn tasty.”
Barley five minutes passed before Lea saw the wolves running at full tilt towards her along the road her companion made.
“You know I could really use some help,” she said to the unconscious girl not really expecting a response.
She readied her weapon and looked at her stats and skills.
A semio transparent screen showed up in her vision displaying her current stats.

Seeing her status condition and the reduction of her stats she now knew why she felt so damn weak.
She then focused on her active skills every single one was greyed out. “Shit, my mana and stamina is probably too low.” Seeing her condition caused her to perspire and her brow to furrow.
Stealing her resolve once more she faced her foes. Taking a stance she thought was appropriate to try and maintain some distance even if it wasn't the normal stance you would take with her blade type, She took a fencer stance, with her feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and her non-dominant side facing the wolves.
I wish I could see their stats at least then I'd know what I'm truly dealing with. She thought.
They had arrived in less than five seconds her mana hadn't even decreased by one point yet.
Within a blink of her eye, she lunged forward her blade piecing the first wolf's head she then flicked her wrist and reset her stance in the same movement.
As fast as she was she knew she was unlikely to come out of this unscathed.
The wolves learning from their mistakes this time didnt attack her one at a time instead lunged a couple at a time two lunged at her from her left and right while the one in front of her lunged forward as well.
While she quickly dealt with two of them she was unable to react fast enough to take out all three she felt searing pain on her left arm as the one on the left bit down and she felt its teeth piece through her arm scraping the bone in her arm.
Ah
Quickly she stabbed the wolf through the head.
The wolf let go but the distraction had cost her as two more wolves were already mid-air ready to pounce on her.
In the mere milliseconds that had passed, she felt a hand grab her shoulder and pull her back as she heard the familiar words.
“Chaos bolt”!
