"Alright, we did it, that'll show those damn spider's what's for." Said Jacques "Still, we probably got a lot of bigger problems and monsters coming through the portals than those spider sisters but they were a good first quest i think."

"We didn't get any loot for them only a few points to use for a level up, i think." Said Monroe.

Still it's not that bad considering what we were up against. I guess we must really be cut out for this heroes and adventuring thing. i wonder what this other game world will be like. I wonder if everyone can fit through the portal to the game world or if it's just us." Said Monroe

"Yeah, Confidence will it just be us or will it be our families as well because most of us have some important people in our lives, parents, siblings or other friends." Said Jacques.

"Well, honestly, the other world will probably only let the 6 of you through, and one other person that we'll meet up with in a little bit. That someone will be the last member of our little adventuring party here." Said Confidence.

"Well, who the hell is the last person?" I wondered surely it must be someone we knew, afterall, all of the other people had been people we had known and this should have been someone that we had met before as well.

"It's your brother, your brother is the last party member that we will add to the team and he's had his class for a while." Said confidence.

"Oh and what is his class, something lame, I'm sure... Eh... screw it... I don't care what cool class my asshole of a brother gets you still can't make me like him." i told her.

"If he's in the team it'll be just a matter of time before he takes over as the leader and that's something that I'm not having... I like being leader." I said pointing to myself.

Just then the army arrived. Or what I suppose was the army or some branch of the armed forces, i'm still not quite that good with this.

"Oh shit what do you suppose the pigs are here for, nothing good if i'm thinking straight." Said jamael.

"Thank you brothers for taking care of me and Carlton. We were so sure we were toast before you came over here." Said Jamael. "Just between you and me that wolf that was protecting us wasn't really hanging in there too well."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence" growled Ferocity. "A thank you would have been all I was asking for."

"Ain't nothing against you, it's just that you weren't looking so hot when these 6 came back to our reality looking like they had just gotten off of some really extensive larp." Said Jamael.

"Yeah, those costumes are wicked sick." said Carlton. "You think I could perhap get me one of those,"

"Do they come with those powers you now have or do those come separately" Said Jamael I could see by the look on his face that he was wondering if he could get some of these cool powers too. I'm not one to admit it but if I were in his shoes I would probably have been asking the very same questions.

"So..." He had this inquisitive curious jokester look on his face that made him hard to hate.

"Don't bother with that" said Carlton. "I'm sure these people are like the chosen ones or something, something that we just ain't."

"I could be a chosen one," Said Jamael "My mother says that i'm destined for great things."

"Looks like all we got out here is civilizians, still this place looks beat up for wear, no doubt a void portal has opened up here." Said one of the soldiers.

"Pleased to meet you boys, do you mind if we take you in to meet our boss" asked another one of the soldiers.

"He's a very nice man and he's just dying to meet you." The sarcasm in his words were palpable, but I guess he knew from the looks of things that we had become more than your everyday civilians.

"What's this about?" I asked the soldier. "We were just friends hanging out at this nightclub, what does a government or military or some official want with us?" i questioned him trying to play the part of the innocent civilian even though i knew full well what this was about. I had bet that the government official actually knew about our role as people who were destined to save the world and as such they wanted to have a little talk with us before we were headed to the other world maybe for good.

"You the boys that did all this damage, I don't see any of the void creatures here anymore, you must have been the ones to have taken them out." said the soldier that was in charge of this little group.

"As you know there are these things called "void" portals that are opening up that are letting these monsters through, they are essentially portals to the void." Said the head soldier.

"The void, what exactly is the void?" i asked him generally curious. "You mean the void as in the vacuum of space?"

"These monsters are from space? Damn we dealing with an alien invasion?" asked Jamael.

"Nah, we're talking about the void like that big stomach of yours!" Said Carlton being as much of a sarcastic prick as he could be.

"Well, Mr. stomach i've got to tell you that you've been very naughty and very bad letting all these monsters through. It's okay I still love you though." Said Jamael.

Carlton rolled his eyes which made Jamael laugh even more.

"No, no, not the vacuum of space. Although if that were the case that would be simpler, i've dealt with any number of aliens and to tell you the truth they're very nice people." Said the lead soldier. i couldn't tell if this was the truth or if he were making things up but from the comical tone that he employed i would have had to say that he was pulling our collective leg and trying to make light of the situation.

"These monster aren't from that void." said the soldier taking a storytellers voice. "These motherfuckers are from the void outside of space and time, something that we didn't know existed up until a few months ago. "

"This has been happening for a few months?" I asked the soldier generally

"No this has only happened very recently but there were some people that have prepared for this for a few months." said the soldier.

"Some very powerful people like your older brother and my boss." he said pointing to himself.

"So let me get this straight, if they knew about this for a few months why didn't anyone warn the mass public that there would be monsters invading from another world." I questioned.

"Well, i suppose those people who are in the know didn't want to create a mass panic. Mass panics never really go well, unless you're into that stuff which I'm sure certain people can be." Said the soldier. "But those people always eventually find themselves on a government watchlist."

"Note to self quit with the plan to incite mass panic to overthrow the american goverment." i said to the soldier.

"That's not something you want to be saying out loud or at all. But considering your previous background history and who you are I'm just going to take that as a joke and move on." said the soldier.

Okay bad joke, i get it, but you can't really blame a guy for trying.

"My names, Erikson, the person we're going to be escorting you to meet is called Richard Oberstein, he's a high ranking general and the reincarnation of Fenrir." said Erikson.

"So he's like what part wolf or something, or can shapeshift into a wolf or something?" I asked

"No the Richard Oberstein is very much human I can assure you that but he has all the memories he would as fenrir, and he would like to explain something to you all."

"Why would he like to explain something to all of us, we get it, we need to seal up these void portals to stop the monsters from coming through." I said confidantly. "And to do that we need to high tail it to this game world that Fenrir has made for us."

"Seems simple enough to me" said Jacques. "Just level grind, defeat mobs, minibosses, dungeon bosses, quest bosses obtain awesome loot and finally defeat the final boss."

"Yeah and Jacques thinks that at the end of it all he's going to be swimming in a sea of girls of all different fantasy races that want to vye for his attention."

Erikson got all quiet like he was contemplating something as if to tell us this or not, and then having made up his decision he finally said.

"Because you're all Fenrir's Children, his reincarnation should at least be the one to fill you in on what's happening and why you're all necessary for the plan to save existence."
