Eyes opened
[Alert: You have been resurrected]
[White Phoenix’s Feather was used]
And as I expected, my body was restored to normal.
The wounds were healed, the scars had faded and all the lost body parts were back.
Except for my clothes, they were still bloody and tattered.
But now that I have cheats enabled in real-life, so there’s nothing left but to leave this damned place.
[“Shadow Surfing” is now activated] (User can now surf through his shadow at very high speed.)
[“Conceal” is now activated] (You are now invisible.)
[“Stealth” is now activated] (Your presence is now hidden.)
No one can find me or detect me, this place is all to me now
Well then let’s get moving…
Smoothly surfing on the ground moving at a high pace, a thought struck me…
(How come there are monsters alive in this place when it had been sealed for thousands of years?)
But come to think of it… There aren’t many either…
Then it struck me!
Perhaps those wolves had been alive for thousands of years killing others to survive… Could it be that the spiders were meant to be their main food source?
Am I Imagining this or could it be possible?
( ( Athena spoke, I’ve detected a small presence of distortion in space and time magic. It is possible that some of the beings could find a way to loop back in time. I’ll be able to verify if we proceed further. ) )
Loopback!? In time?
So you’re saying the monsters I absorbed previously could be back again!?
( ( “Yes” ) )
Wait!? Isn’t that pretty broken? It’s like a farming glitch in real life.
I need to check it out.
Hiss… Chitter…
(Athena was right! The same four spiders are back!?)
( ( Alert! I’ve found traces of space and time magic, it is possible to remove them permanently by using “Consume” ) )
And so… I activated all my cheats once again and like a maniac, I kept casting “Consume” on everything that came my way, from stones and crystals to spiders, slimes, and shadow wolves. Because it was a free exp & stats farm for me. I could feel my speed matching the speed of the midnight shadow wolf but it’s a shame he couldn’t find a way back.
( ( Alert! I’ve found the distortion, it’s right above 8’o clock ) )
Wow, it looks like a twisted, reality-bending portal.
Consume!
…
Umm, I didn’t get anything?
( ( This distortion is unstable and can cause an unimaginable effect, therefore I’ve taken it to examine. If you could provide me with more, I might be able to create new skills or upgrade previous ones for you. ) )
I see…
Well, let’s get straight to the top now!
Rushing my way through there weren’t as many wolves other than the same ones I’d previously encountered but things changed on the 5th floor. The air was stagnant I don’t think I could’ve survived here without Life Trainer, that damn Kami-sama.
I found different monsters in here, like winged serpents, armored lizards, and the worst undead skeletons.
The worst thing was I couldn’t receive any bonuses from the undead skeletons and they keep coming back. I asked Athena if there were any traces of Distortion here but she replied no, then I asked if there was any other way to deal with them to which she answered they could only be killed using the Divine (Holy) magic and items.
So it pretty much annoyed me not having any holy skills or attacks.
But I received several defensive stats and skills from the armored lizard and gained levitation skill from the winged serpent. Although the defensive skills don’t mean a thing to me still it’s better to have them for resistance especially to avoid losing body parts.
Touching something private…
I’m sorry my dear jewels, I’ll never let you ever go again… Sob
Moving forward, I tried combining “Shadow Surfing” with “Levitation” but it didn’t work as I thought it would.
I could use “Blink” with “Levitation” but “Shadow Surfing” was much faster.
Upon reaching the 10th floor, I finally found the main cause of those undead skeletons and why they kept coming back. The reason was this necromancer called “Undead Sage” Maybe he’s the boss of this floor?
It was a pain that he could summon the hundreds of undead skeletons but to his shock, I lured them all and simply trapped and wrapped them using “Silk Manipulation” on all the skeletons at once.
But I guess the skeletons were only phase one, as he enraged all the skeletons break down but then he summoned the undead versions of all the monsters I’ve previously fought. Huh!? There’s even a rotten slime?
Consume!
[Alert: You Have Learned Rot Manipulation] (Grants the ability to control and spread decay, rapidly causing organic matter to decompose and weaken.)
[Alert: You Have Gained Rot Immunity] (Provides complete immunity to the effects of rot, rendering the user impervious to decay and corruption.)
Using cheats in games had already made me addicted to it, but this is real and my life now so even as a cheater I still have my pride and honor to fight bosses on equal grounds.
//((Unless they’re unfair.))//
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
So I asked Athena to turn off “Instant-Kill” and she did. Besides attacking them would be a meaningless waste of time, since sage can summon them again.
I started off with “Blink” and then quickly barraged them with throwing knives to provoke them. My hand would summon a new knife right after throwing another one for it was one of the cheat’s perks.
It was hard to get used to but my adrenaline was at its peak so my reflexes didn’t hesitate. In short, the undead monsters were provoked, and then I blinked above and threw the Toxic Web Grenades, which would incapacitate them. but I failed because I didn’t realize they were truly dead which meant the poison wouldn’t work on them nor it would matter.
Not gonna lie but this kind of thing depresses the heck outta me.
Athena, do you have any suggestions?
( ( Yes… use divine magic or items. ) )
But! I don’t have any divine magic or ite…!!?
Wait! I DO!!!!!!!!! Why didn’t think of it before!?
The “Divine Blessings!” they’re definitely Divine! I can use them!!!
Athena!!!! Thank You!!!
Once again, I tried luring all the monsters and laid a trap to immobilize them using “Silk Manipulation”, but this time I threw divine blessings at them they disappeared! Right away!
And soon the only thing that remained was the big fish controlling all the undead.
Carrying a large staff with him, the infuriated Undead Sage, struck me with his necromantic spells, shooting homing orbs surrounded with a dark hue and aura. The orbs would follow me regardless of where I surf or blink but to his surprise, I was immune to undead magic thanks to the cheat “Debuff Immunity” so it just washed away after hitting me.
In his confused state, I took the chance to approach him and cast “Consume” and to my surprise, I was able to obtain an unimaginable amount of stats.
[Alert: You Have Gained +124 INT]
[Alert: You Have Gained +100 END]
[Alert: You Have Gained +85 VIT]
[Alert: You Have Forgotten Radiant Staff of Arcane]
[Alert: You Have Learned Necromancy]
[Necromancy Skills Have Been Added]
[Conjure] - Resurrect the dead with an unholy power under your command.
[Transmutate] - Upgrade undead by sacrificing other undeads to enhance their strength.
[Soul Repository] - Store and manage collected dead souls or necromantic energies for future use.
My level and stats had already grown fantastically thanks to “Quick Levelling” but “Consume” had made things even better. Who would’ve thought one of the most useless skills in the world would end up becoming the best skill ever?
Moreover, I seem to have obtained an extremely rare staff, but I don’t understand one thing. I appear to have a staff in my inventory, yet the sage is still carrying one in his hand.
Is this another glitch I’ve found in real life? Or did “Consume” absorb and copy it?
Either way! It’s pretty broken!
He didn’t realize that his own existence had become similar to one of a god.
Well, it’s time to finish this…
I charged forward using the “Shadow Surfing” in a zig-zag move imitating the midnight shadow wolf from the first floor. Then covering my fist in liquid of divine blessings I blinked right next to him then attacked him using “Shadow Strike”.
The damage was Indeed critical, but the sage was persistent…
De.. fen..d… Mus…t defe..nd
What’s he saying!?
Wait he can talk!????
Shrieeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!
Oh shit shit shit! Sage has gone wild!
The whole floor shakes violently, as he swings his staff calling forth a massive sphere filled with necromantic energy.
I know this blast won’t do a thing against me but I’m pretty sure it would destroy this floor…
I wanted this fight to be honorable but I’m sorry to do this…Athena!
( ( “I Already, did.” ) )
Instant Kill [ON]
Approaching the undead sage with a fist soaked in holy liquid
Shadow Strike!
…
Thank god, that canceled out the blast.
Staring at Sage’s withering body
I wish I could understand what you were trying to say before.
(Hmm… since I didn’t use consume to absorb… maybe I could use my new skill…?)
Aiming at Sage’s withering body
Conjure…
[Alert: Conjure Was Successful!]
[Alert: You Have Unlocked New Necromancy Skills]
[Undead Summoning]
[Undead Communication - Commanding]
[Target: Undead Sage Is Now Under Your Control]
Looking at the once angered now calmed and confused undead sage, he must be wondering what happened. Even so, when I tried approaching him, he knelt down in fear shivering.
I wanted to ask him what was he saying earlier, but now I feel like I should give him some time to settle.
So I put him inside the “Soul Repository” and then Athena spoke,
( ( “I’ve detected a distortion in this place, hidden behind the pillar.” ) )
Consume!
…
[A vision occurred]
A glimpse of war, fire spreading, bodies burning, sky raining blood…
Woah!!??? What was that? It looked horrible… It came right to me when I used “Consume”.
Athena, what was that?
…
Athena!?
… ( ( “I’m busy at the moment.” ) )
Huh!? That’s new!? Well alright sure take your time.
I’ll proceed to the 11th floor.
Upon reaching the 11th floor, the environment and scenery had from all the previous floors the shadowy rocky place was no more, there was finally greenery and air. I looked above to see if there was a sky but it was hard to believe, it looked as if the ocean and sky turned upside down.
But something is weird, how is this place so well preserved after being lost to eons? Maybe it’s those distortions maintaining this place.
Floor 11
Not to mention the creepy zombified plants coming towards me.
Coming towards me?
FUCK RUN!
Surfing through shadow…
Uh, wait why am I running?
Silly human instinct.
Turns back, uses consume absorbs all of ‘em.
A list of notifications and announcements rushed the screen, unbearable to hear or read.
He forcefully swipes the screen away!
I always hated this downside of hacks, use and kill everything at once and the announcements would start pouring nonstop on screen.
I think it’s better if I overview myself and my skills only after killing a boss.
So without looking at my stats, I got back on track and moved casting “Consume” at everything in my sight, whether it was a monster, grass, herb, branch, tree, pebble, stone, boulder, stagnant water, zombified fruits.
In 20 minutes I arrived at the 13th floor where Athena told me about another distortion, and she said the further climbed, the stronger the force of the distortion got.
Then I found another distortion on the 18th floor while traversing.
Roughly within 58 minutes, I arrived at the exit of the 19th floor.
I guess this is it then…
