And so the day was over just like that without getting any sleep.

Rogu (Rogrendria) was whining and stirring up trouble, getting on Belle’s nerves all night. She was constantly annoyed and was attacking him because of what he did. But since the familiar contract with me was a success he’s now vulnerable to many things, but who could go against him or be able to damage him, unless it's one of his siblings or someone stronger than us?

Meanwhile I… who had no sleep since my reincarnation was just standing there… watching and hearing all the noise and drama, with my throbbing head, fatigued body, and dry red eyes surrounded by dark circles.

As the morning came by Belle kicked him out of the house sending him flying straight through the hole which she first created by shooting Rogu with a fireblast.

“That despicable little runt!!! How could someone like him be a mythic beast? I’m gonna be keeping an eye on him from now on.” Isabelle said angrily.

As I thought it’s gonna be noisy from now on…

But what’s next now?

…

So I brought out a pot filled with water and washed my face… to get rid of that zombie look off my face, then enabled the cheats.

Belle also did the same… but then we heard some commotion…

And as we thought… It was Rogu… up to something…

“Listen People of the Forest! Your God has returned! It is I the Rogrendria one of the mythic beasts and shaper of this world.” Rogu said to the goblins…

"Rogrendria-sama? Rogrendria-sama has been awoken? It must be because of Maou-sama! Praise the mighty Maou-sama who has awakened the mythic beast just by his arrival here," the goblins said, including the elder, as they rushed toward our house, bowing outside. Rogrendria froze in shock, pointing his thumb at him, as he received the same reaction from goblins he got from us not too long ago.

So I came out and said, “Sheesh guys, what’s all this about.”

Then Korobing said, “Praise the Maou-sama who has awakened our god.”

As he bows alongside villagers once more…

Then Rogu said something I bet he’s trying to stir something new now…

“That’s right people! This mortal has awoken me, bested me in combat, and has made me one of his subordinates.”

The villagers reacted with shock saying… “Maou-sama did all of that?”

So Rogrendria replied, “That’s right! From this moment forward, this Mortal is the King of this Forest!”

Goblins Rejoicing…

…

Huh…!? Subordinate…? King…? What the heck is he saying…?

And so I shouted, “SHUT UP EVERYONE!” with a burst of aura I released subconsciously.

“You see goblins! That’s the power that made me submit.” Rogrendria continued.

“Rogu! Shut the heck up!” I said frustratingly.

(This bastard is escalating things so fast, I haven’t even thought of…)

And so I began my rant, “All of you are so annoying! One calling me a mortal other calling me Maou-sama even though you all hate demons.”

“ I’m not a king, a demon lord, or a god… My name is Kazuma!”

“And what’s all this about huh!? Rogu if one thing you are of mine it would be a pet, not subordinate.”

“So y’all better understand this!”

…

“What’s wrong with being a king?” A familiar voice approached from behind… it was Isabelle.

And then she says, “I mean… you got what it takes to be a king, your wife is demon queen, you have a mythic beast serving you even though he’s annoying… and you got the perfect race to start your rule with.”

“In my opinion, you’re being granted blessings that others would not only die but cause a massacre for…”

“But…” Before I could say anything she interrupted me.

“No buts! You said it, you would accept anything if I ask of you… so I’m telling you become a King! This world needs someone like you… someone who cannot be comprehended, someone who can’t be controlled, someone who has the power to manipulate the laws of this world!”

…

So I said… “Why y’all pushing me… It’s not even been a week since I got here…”

…

(But I guess… It won’t be so bad… and I got her.)

Fi… Rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the heck was that… the ground was shaking… and so I looked at one peculiar person and questioned…

“Rogu what the heck did you this time now!?”

“Hey Hey Hey, it’s not me!” Rogu answered.

If it's not him then what the heck is it?

Rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again!?

Hearing this rumble as the ground shakes, Isabelle runs towards it.

“Wait Isabelle where are you going?” I asked her while following her as she was running.

So she answered, “To check what’s going on.”

(Well of course that’s me most plausible thing to do but I didn’t expect that she would want to Involve herself.)

Then Rogu followed us and said, “Hey guys don’t forget about me!”

…

And so running through the woods we arrived at yet another village and this time… it was blue lizardfolks.

They looked blue and had humanoid bodies like goblins but also had hairs, draconic faces, tails, and limbs embedded with an array of crystals.

But they were fighting none other than the tall bulky red orcs…

The village was already wrecked and it seemed the leader of Lizardfolks had already perished.

A female blue lizard warrior was engaged in a fierce battle with the leader of the red orcs, while the members of the lizardfolk village tried to fend off the red orcs' attack.

The fight appears to be one-sided, but the female warrior's spirit is commendable as she skillfully deflects every attack with unmatched agility.

But then the leader of red orcs showed something malignant…

He pulls out something that looks like a large lump of flesh, exuding rather a wicked energy with a sinister purple hue.

As he eats that disgusting lump his body changes significantly in size, and strength, and goes berserk…

“Hey guys better watch out… that thing is dangerous,” Rogu told us.

But we already got a gist of it and we understood that the life of the female blue lizard warrior was in danger…

Right after that, the female blue lizard warrior got hit, and Belle went to rescue her, as I went for the big guy.

So I immediately blinked over there while stomping the ground getting everyone’s attention in an instant.

Red Orcs were already behaving arrogantly as if they’d won while the Red Orcs leader right in his mind there was only one thing that could’ve been done.

Devour!

And in a flash, everyone was speechless about how a human could kill a leader of red orcs with a massive power-up in one hit…

“What the hell just happened?” both the blue lizard warriors and red orcs said.

“A human… killed him…?”

And… then… I used “Demonic Ascension” transforming into a demon… as I released a massive surge of mana around me. I’m sure Rogu won’t disable his concealing spell since he also needs us.

And so hoping they would fear me, I shouted “KNEEL!”

As everyone knelt down… it was a huge success for me.

“Hey Kazuma Keep it down! I can blind the people but not deafen them with my spell.” Rogu said to me.

Sheesh he got me there… then I looked at Isabelle, she just gave me a thumbs-up, it was her way of telling me that the female blue lizard warrior was alive and breathing.

Then I went towards the dead body of the blue lizard man who supposedly looked like their leader.

(Athena, I can use White Pheonix Feather on others too right…?)

( ( “Yes.” ) )

(Alright… thanks!)

And so I pulled out a “White Phoenix Feather” from inventory and put it on his body.

Meanwhile Rogrendria to himself,

Sniff… sniff…

“This smell looks familiar coming from that thing Kazuma put on his body… could it be…!!!?”

Poof!

Body surrounded with white light covering the whole body of the blue lizard man as feathers came and danced around him…

He came back to life!

“Ugh…”

“I’m Alive?” the man said.

Then he looks at the dead body of the Red Orcs Leader… the fiend is dead… who killed him?

“Oi! Look here,” Kazuma said to the man.

Then the man realized that it was this person who had killed him and perhaps resurrected him as well…

“Sir… who are you…?” the man asked Kazuma the question.

So Kazuma answered… “I’m the King of this forest and you people are disturbing my forest…”

Agitated by Kazuma’s comment he said, “Don’t be absurd… this place belongs to us and our god Rogrendria-sama, not humans!”

I replied menacingly, “Oi… looked behind me you see that chibi thing? That’s your god and he’s my pet now, if you dare disrespect me again, I’ll regret making my choice to resurrect you and kill your entire race.”

(Goddamnit! I don’t wanna act like a villain here but I need to fix these conflicts between them.)

And so the man quietly said… “Understood sir.”

(Thank god he was convinced! I thought he would just disrespect me more for showing a furry child as their God.)

And so… I separated both blue lizardfolk and red orcs and made them sit in line.

Then I began my questioning.

My first question was for Red Orcs since they’re the main cause of disruption.

“So why are Red Orcs coming after all other races in this forest?”

So one of the representatives answered who was also their second in command.

"We were once proud and strong and had lived in peace for a very long time. However, in recent years, demons have invaded our forest and started kidnapping our people. Initially, we thought they were leading them to their deaths, but we soon learned that they were conducting experiments on them. We decided to fight back, but they used our children and women as shields and hostages.”

“They forced us to do their bidding and we had no choice… they would ask us to kill and kidnap anyone they wanted whether it was a monster or a human, but lately, the demands have been even more intense, and we have been suffering from hunger for days. We had no choice but to feed on those who were weaker than us. We are not causing this trouble because we want to, but because we are bound to the demon's will. It's all for the sake of our own race's survival."

Hmm… so demons are the ones causing all of this because of some experiment.

I guess I should ask the second question from the blue lizardfolks but there isn’t anything to ask about them… but let’s try.

“Ok so, blue lizards are you being also troubled by demons as well?”

The blue lizard man stood up (the one I resurrected) as he responded, “Yes sir, many of our warriors have also been abducted by the demons, including our eggs by force.”

I see… demons have been the cause of all of it but still, there was one that bothered me as well… So I asked them.

“What about forest trolls? Are they not affected by demons' oppression?”

And then… everyone went to silence while both me and Isabelle were dumbfounded.

Then… the red orcs second in command spoke…

“Sir, the forest trolls have all been captured and annihilated by the demons due to their unintelligible nature.”

Huh…?

So wait you’re telling me there are only four races alive in this forest? The Goblins, Blue Lizardfolks, Red Orcs, and Dryads now?

So he replied, “Yes, sir, I’m afraid so. There are blaze foxes that are also intelligent, but they have dens of their own and do not interact with other races except while hunting."

It seems that the population of this forest is declining while demons are using this place to collect their test subjects…

So I guess, you all have a problem with demons right?

Everyone answered, “Yes sir.”

And so I was thinking…

A plan to eradicate all the demons and unite all the races together.

I guess I truly have been provided with an opportunity to lead them… but I kind of hate this… because I used to mess up a lot in MMO guilds as a leader in my gaming life but I believe it's fine for now… as long as I got those two. (Thinks of Rogu and Belle)

But I still have one more thing before I make any decision or announcement…

“Hey Red Orcs’ second in command, what was that dark lump of flesh your leader ate?”

He answers, "Sir, it's a drug crafted by demons in one of their experiments and provided to the leader to deal with strong foes, especially the humans who try to approach the forest. However, it takes a massive toll on him. As he gains power, he goes into berserk mode, but afterward, his muscles are all wrecked."

So I guess it would be fine to revive him…

( ( “Excuse me, but could you use “Devour” on those lumps he has in his pockets, I’ll use them for analysis.” ) )

(Sure… it’s not like I was gonna let him have it.)

Approaches near the Red Orcs’ Leader's dead body…

I guess this is it then…

Poof!

And he pretty much gave the same reaction to me as the Blue Lizard’s leader but I gave him the same response as I gave him…

…

I asked Rogu to summon up all the Blaze Foxes and Dryads since he could communicate and summon them.

Then teleported everyone to the Goblin Village where our house is…

It took a little time for everyone to settle down and chew on… but they were relaxed

And so I told them…

Listen, everyone! “First off as you know this little chibi guy – Points at Rogu – is your god Rogrendria. He’s neither my pet nor my subordinate but my familiar so in a sense he’s both!”

Hearing this Rogu froze in shock like usual, as Belle stifled her laugh. Even so, I continued…

“But as you’ve heard, your god is now under me and he has made me the Ruler of this forest, And this hasn’t been done by suppression but by your god’s own will and Goblins are the witnesses who saw everything.”

Second! “I’m a human and this is my wife Isabelle the Demon Queen, if anyone has any problem speak now!”

Everyone was silent as they looked at me… I guess there is no problem…

Since there is no problem I’ll move on to the third.

"From what I’ve learned, demons are our common enemies, and we’re going to take them down. But to do that, we must unite, put aside our differences, and forge a new path together! Let’s join forces, cultivate this forest as one, and rise to stand equal with the nations beyond. We shall become as strong and equal as humans!"

“This place won’t be called the Forest of Rogrendria but instead the Kingdom of Rogrendria!”

“YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Everyone shouted as they Rejoiced.

And so we made our move against the demons.
