So we began our plan.
But first… “Everyone tell your names.”
…
We learned everyone’s name, prepared the meal, and also our strategy against the demons.
[A Few Hours Later]
Walking with heavy footsteps…
Ack! Ack! Ack! Watch it!
Trapped in a walking cage, Belle and I were making noises the Red Orcs had imprisoned us and were transferring us to the demons’ hideout.
One of the red orc soldiers' voices whispered, “Sir, we'll be there soon.”
Keep walking men! We have got a good catch for demons today! The Red Orc Leader Rhibert said.
(So according to our plan the first we decided was not to immediately rush over to their hideout and attack it, instead, we wanted to launch an inside-out attack. There were many reasons for that but the most important was to meet who was pulling the string or at least to the get name of whoever giving the order in case there was a big fish.)
(We divided ourselves into three groups: Group One consisted of me, Belle, and the Red Orcs. Group Two included the Blue Lizards, Nuzma’h, and the Knights, and Group Three was made up of Rogu, Blazefoxes, and Dryads. We then proceeded to our designated locations.)
(Since red orcs were the only ones who knew the hideout's location we positioned ourselves in a cage used by the Red Orcs to transport captives while we pretended to be normal humans. I didn’t know but Belle had the ability to vanish her horns and wings, so it was convenient for us not to bring Rogu for his concealing magic otherwise this plan would’ve had flaws.)
Thump! Ack!
One of the red orc soldiers' voices whispered again, “Sir, we've arrived.”
(And then we saw the demons for the first… well considering Belle is also a demon, I guess it is the second time… but unlike Belle they were different.
(If I were to compare them to Belle in terms of strength they’re pretty much weak as a fly, but their nature was evil, unlike Belle whose darkness felt like sorrow their darkness felt malicious.)
Then one of the two demons guarding the entrance said…
“What have you gotten us this time and so early?”
“Sir… we’ve found two humans wandering outside the forest,” Rhibert answered.
“You’ve found them outside the forest? We haven’t heard anything like that from our scouts yet… But excellent job!” the demon said.
Then he says, “Come in captain would definitely like some humans for our experiment.”
…
(Our first part was successful which was to infiltrate their hideout. The next thing was to find the one in charge… and it seemed like it was their captain.)
(And so the red orcs carried us again and began walking towards the direction where the captain was…)
… Ack! (Damn, it hurts)
(And then we saw the prisoners… honestly, it was a horrifying sight to look at. They were tortured, abused, and hadn’t eaten in days, all the worst things imagined were done to them including the women and children present…)
(Belle had already begun losing her cool but I gave her a sign to control for we were coming closer to the Demon’s Captain… and then… we arrived.)
Fwhoosh!
A man appeared zapping through in light and below him was a magic circle… perhaps are teleportation circle…
“So Rhibert, you caught some humans outside the forest?” The Captain asked.
Rhibert responded, “Yes, Gehrwin-sama.”
A demon attacked Rhibert saying, “Watch your tongue orc! – attacks – Don’t speak Gehrwin-sama’s name so casually!”
“Silence,” Gehrwin said.
Then Gehrwin continued, “I wanna see what we have here… if they’re of any use… Vice commander has told me that Muza'rn-sama wishes to conclude this experiment and the only thing we lack is the supply of undying undead soldiers which were found in the Goblin Village… once we seize them we’ll start with the Erva and then proceed to eradicate the entire Kingdom of Livenia alongside its heroes and governing goddess.”
After hearing this Gehrwin guy, I got a gist of one or two things while I said to myself,
“(Huh… undying soldiers? Rogu wasn’t lying when he said the words have already been spread. I guess they’re preparing for the war… against Kingdom of Livenia, its Goddess, and its heroes…?)”
So Athena responded, ( ( “The Heroes is a term for those individuals who are summoned from another world (like mine) by a Kingdom, by invoking the prayer of a god they worship… but governing gods can summon them on their own through rituals. The Heroes' main purpose is to defeat the demon lords and their armies, and if they succeed in defeating them they can go back to their own world or choose to stay here.” ) )
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
“(I see, thanks Athena.)”
(So gods have the knowledge to not only summon but also to transfer people back… It’s not like I wanna go back there but knowledge like that would sure come in handy. In any case, the big fish seems to be this guy named Muza’rn, the one behind experiments and wanting to start a war…)
Grrrrrr….!!!?
(Isabelle!? Why does she look so frustrated while grinding her teeth?)
Oi… oi… are you… okay…? Whispers to Belle.
She replies… “that name… Muza’rn… I’ve heard it before… it was the name of one of the children I used to play with… his father's name was Gudza’rn one of the high-ranking nobel who betrayed my father…”
Damn… surely there’s no way it would be the same guy she described right…? I replied…
“No… I need to know more and by using my fist!” She angrily shouted and then…
Boom!
A massive explosion burst within the man cage as it scattered into smithereens…
Everything turns to rubble as the ground shakes… hurting and displacing most of the demons…
!!?
“Hey bottom feeder, – stares at down Gehrwin while floating in mid-air – tell me more about this Muza’rn… is he the so-called son of Gudza’rn?” Isabelle asked.
Gehrwin reacted, “Wha!? Who are you? How dare you speak the name of our supreme deity you bitc– gets attacks
“Hey… be careful what you say about my wife… say another bad word, I’ll cut off that tongue of yours,” I said to Gehrwin while looking at him with disgust.
“What’s the meaning of this!? YOU!!! RED ORCS!! HOW DARE YOU DEFY US!! I’ll order right now to kill your women and children.” Gehrwin said… instilled in fear and confusion with agitation.
(And that’s where our second plan came in, as our group’s destination was the demon’s hideout, Blue Lizards and Nuzma’h’s group destination was Red Orc village… so we can kill all the demons taking women and children hostage.)
[At Red Orcs Village]
The whole village truly had turned red with the blood of demons splashing all over.
The Knights of the Shadow legions were so strong the Blue Lizards when astounded as they focused on their job of rescuing the hostages.
Slash… slash… fwish… slash… whoosh…
The only thing that could be heard there was the swift noise of the steel Knight’s blade and the screams of demons… getting slaughtered.
…
One of the demons who was lying on the ground had a little bit of strength as clenched Nuzma’h’s foot and said,
“This… won’t end… well for you undeads… Muza’rn-sama will make all of you his slave…”
Nuzma’h quickly grabs him by the collar, and stares directly into his eyes as he says…
“Listen you failure! We already have a master! He’s the one who stirred an ancient nest of hornets and made every hornet its slave… He made the so-called God of this Forest his pet. Your lord can’t even graze him.”
“I-imposible… Rogrendria… Even… Gud…z…a’r…n-sama cou…l..dn’t…” were the last words of the demon as he died.
[Back at Demons’ Hideout]
“Oi! Bottom feeder look here and tell me about Gudza’rn where is that piece of shit!” Belle said.
Gehrwin replied, “You think I would betray Muza’rn-sama for you fucking humans? Not in a million years! Your heroes can go to hell we’ve got an army and items that can even go against goddess Livenia.”
“You bottom feeder, you really think you’re in any position to have a way out? Your teleportation circle is already destroyed. Tell me about Gudza’rn right now!” Belle said.
Then Gehrwin replied, “I’m a captain, not a bottom feeder you arrogant bit– gets attacked by Kazuma.
Poof!
Gehrwin’s jaw dropped…
MHMMMMMMMMM!!! The tears flow through as a river of blood starts to rain through his mouth.
“I told you I’d cut off your tongue if you repeated anything disrespectful towards my wife,” I said.
And then one of the demons who courage talk back,
“You pitiful humans think that you’ve won!? The experiment is already complete and the war is coming, Do you believe this farce will make us scared? The scouts will tell everything to Muza’rn-sama prepare for your deaths mortals.”
(And that brings us to the third and final part of the plan, which Rogu’s team will carry out. Since the demons are unaware that Rogu (Rogrendria) has awoken, we’ll use the dryads to pinpoint the locations of those spies blending into the environment but we’ll leave one alive. You all might wonder why, but the reason is simple, we don’t want to draw unnecessary attention. If all the demons were to vanish, it would raise suspicions. They might start investigating further, especially after sightings of the undead. I don’t want their eyes on us, and Rogu certainly doesn’t want the world to know he’s awake. So, we’ll unleash the blaze foxes to hunt down the spies and let them feel the wrath of Rogrendria upon them, without revealing that he has awoken. Let them believe that Rogu is simply a force of nature, always watching, ready to punish the wrongdoers.)
[Outside of Forest of Rogrendria]
As the demons hiding within watched over the forest, they were suddenly thrown out as if the earth itself had vomited them up.
Roots from below began to ensnare their bodies, draining their life energy while the blaze foxes swiftly ambushed them.
The demons' reaction was shocking as they stood watching the foxes perform a ritualistic dance around them as if it were a sign to honor Rogrendria’s will. They wanted it let the demon know that their attack was no random ambush, that it was a command by the force of nature punishing the intruders.
With lethal precision, the blaze foxes tore into the demons, feasting on their flesh, leaving only one alive.
And that lone survivor flew away with the horror he got to witness.
[Back Again at Demons’ Hideout]
As Gehrwin suffers in painful agony, a demon stands up to threaten us… but little did he know he only pushed Isabelle’s anger even further.
And so she replies, “You lot are a useless bunch, you think that scares me? The ones who should be scared are you, Muza’rn, and Gudza’rn because what comes for them next is death.”
“And it starts with yours.”
She starts charging a massive blast of energy in midair causing the whole ground to shake violently.
FUCK! She’s gonna wipe out their entire hideout, I don’t think she’s in the right mind, hearing those names must upset her but… there are red orcs too I can’t let them get hurt.
Swish… blink…
“Isabelle calm down!” I told her.
She replied, “No Kazuma I’m going to kill them all.”
I responded saying, “What do you mean by kill them all weren’t you all excited about starting a new life? Letting me carry your burdens? Get a hold of yourself.”
“But.. But.. But.. you don’t understand…” she said as the radius of the energy got larger.
(I guess it's do or die…)
Fwhoosh!
And so I blinked right in front of her and gave her a hug while canceling the blast with “Devour”.
“Kazuma…!”
“I told you… I’ll carry your burdens… there’s no need to scratch old wounds. Let me take care of them for you.” I said to her right close.
“Okay…” she said with teary eyes.
Then I opened a dark circle from my back, opening the gate of the "Soul Repository" as I let Kaiser out.
And I only gave him one command… Rip and tear all the demons apart.
As the demons in shock realized they whispered to themselves, “He’s the undead’s master… he’s the Necromancer.”
Whoooooooop!
[Twenty Minutes Later]
Well, that takes care of them.
Hmm… I guess I’ll harvest their souls… for now…
Conjure!
Thus the end to all of Forest's troubles came to an end.
