In the love triangle of Alex, Asuna and Hikaru, Hikaru was at the back, having a chaAnce of less than 0.01 percent of getting out of the friend zone.
Hikaru was always pissed at Alex ever since he met him.
Seeing how Asuna looked at Alex, he knew this won’t end well for him.
The only thing which was keeping him go on was that vague promise that she made to him, which she probably doesn’t even remember.
When Alex became the new genius of school, Hikaru could see his already broken dream disappear. Hikaru is a quite polite boy. He doesn’t interact much with others and is a pushover.
But when someone tries to steal your imaginary girlfriend, who wouldn’t stand up.
When news of Alex passing spread through the school, she was the first to congratulate him.
Asuna was blushing like those love-struck damsels. She then realized a horrifying fact; she won’t be able to see him during class.
The only time which would be possible for her to be with him was at the start of school, break and after school. The best time would be recess, but that was the time she would spend with Hikaru.
Choosing between Alex and Hikaru was a tough choice, so why not both?
Hikaru was one of those boys that may have a lot of stuff in the brain, but in physical activities, he was below average. He was actually nice and is great to have as a friend.
Today was Alex’s first day as a second year. Alex usually ate his lunch on the roof. Asuna knew Alex ate his lunch on the roof. When the bell rang, she arrived just as Alex was about to take a bite.
’Asuna, I don’t usually see you around here.

Asuna made up her mind that she will spend the recess with Alex, but she had no idea what to say to him.
‘Ye-Yeah, just a change of place.’
’What are you doing here, Alex!?”
Behind Asuna was Hikaru. Asuna had asked Hikaru to change places, hiding the motive of seeing Alex.
Asuna couldn’t just leave Hikaru. She had hoped that the two of them would become friends, but she was hoping for too much.
Alex didn’t dislike Hikaru, but Hikaru was threatened by Alex. He didn’t care about anything other than being the smartest in school because of Asuna.
When someone hates a person, he will desperately go out of his way to do something to him.
It doesn’t matter how small it might be as long as the person’s annoyed, disturbed, or slightly disappointed. It is their win. They will do it subconsciously.
A regular Japanese lunch consists of rice, sausages, vegetables, and an omelet. With it, a carton of milk or a flask pf miso soup and you’re good to go.
Alex started eating his. Asuna sat to the left, and Hikaru was about to sit to the right.
It doesn’t matter if you are as smart as hell. If you’re a child at heart, you will do childish things.
Hikaru had a flask of miso soup. He planned to spill it while sitting and then purposely trip so that Alex would get drenched in miso soup.
He opened the bottle and did as he planned. He put down his lunch on the ground and began pouring.
‘Whoa!!!!’
He then tripped on nothing. People get tripped by nothing more than anything else in this world. He fell harder than he expected but to him, it was worth it.
--It’s okay, I heard the splash, it definitely fell on him.
‘Hikaru, you should be more careful, here let me help you.’
When he looked up, he saw Alex completely dry and fine.
‘Huh?’
In the split second that Hikaru blinked. The soup flew in mid-air. Alex didn’t even need to think, his body reacted on his own.
He was leaning a little forward and instantly leaned to the back. The soup that was meant to fall on Alex got passed him and fell on Asuna.
When he saw Asuna drenched in miso soup, it was like his soul had left his body. Hikaru wanted to die on the spot, but life isn’t that kind.
Ever wondered why we cannot control our cardiac muscle or smooth muscles by our will? It’s because God knew if we were able to control them, as soon as the smallest mishap would happen, we would stop our heart, stomach, intestine, etc. and kill ourselves.
“I’m so very sorry, Asuna.”
Asuna was drenched in the sticky and slightly hot miso soup.
‘It’s okay…Hikaru’
Hikaru’s eyes had widened.
He made sure that he would spill all of it. Asuna’s shirt was completely soaked, and because of it, it became transparent. To put it in a nutshell, her bra started showing.
