Same Floor

"Sir Eldear, are you okay?" said Aldric. "Wh- how did you do that?" said Eldear. This question left Aldric confused. Just as Aldric was about to ask Eldear what he meant, a voice came from a third person who was also in the same room.

"Cramy Steak will cost 23 glimmers... no discount...emm," said Naiz. Aldric laughed at this, but Eldear's reaction was quite the opposite.

Bang!

"Wake up, you noisy little brat!" Eldear shouted as he banged his hand on Naiz's head.

"Everyone, go to your homes. It's a monster attack," Naiz shouted as he woke up, shocked.

"Calm down. It was Sir Eldear's hand that banged on your head, and you took it as a monster attack," said Aldric. "Why would you do that?" said Naiz as he grabbed his head with one hand. Naiz's eyes then laid on the object that Aldric had in his hand.

"Wohoo! What is that?" said Naiz.

"This fell out from that stick. I can't say for sure, but I think there may be some kind of magical transformation casted on it," said Aldric, looking at Eldear, hoping for confirmation.

Seeing how Aldric and Naiz were looking at him, Eldear decided to clarify. "Well, you are not entirely wrong, but rather than a transformation magic, it was a sealing magic," said Eldear.

"Sealing Magic?" questioned Aldric. Eldear gazed at Naiz. "Ok, Ok, I get it. I don't want to become a pawn between two sword fanatics, and it is already late. I will go home now," said Naiz and left.

"Now, will you explain what you meant by sealing magic?" Aldric asked. "Yes, right," said Eldear. "Well, I did say that my swords choose their rightful owner, right?" said Eldear. "Yes, but what about it?" questioned Aldric.

"The thing is, that does not apply to any other sword. It is just for this sword you are holding," said Eldear. "What do you mean? I still can't understand," said Aldric, who was still confused about the matter. "I can't tell you the whole truth because it is not the right time, but tell me one thing: Were you summoned as a hero from Warna or some other place?" questioned Eldear. "Yes, I was an inhabitant of Warna, but I don't remember many things since I asked my god to erase my memories," replied Aldric truthfully, as he was instructed.

When Eldear heard Aldric's reply, his facial expressions changed. "Now let me look at this sword," said Eldear as Aldric handed him the sword.

When Eldear took the sword, he felt something strange from it. "What is this?" he thought to himself. Eldear then handed back the sword to Aldric. "Wait here. I will go and get you your armor, but you need to pay for that," said Eldear.

After Eldear entered one of his rooms, "So, would you like to tell me why you said to go with his way?" Aldric said. "This man isn't normal, to the point I can say he isn't human," said the voice. "But why? There must be a reason for you to make me go this far, Master?" questioned Aldric to the voice, who was none other than Vorondor.

It was Vorondor who told Aldric to stop and see what this blacksmith would bring, and the results didn't disappoint. Vorondor was satisfied when Eldear brought the long stick. "And the sword itself isn't simple; there seems to be a connection," said Vorondor.

"Connection?" questioned Aldric. "Well, I can't tell you for sure, but rather than that, the most intriguing thing is this sword chooses its owner by itself," Vorondor said.

"But isn't it similar to what the Ruinshard blade did?" Aldric questioned in return. "Are you dumb? That is a divine blade," said Vorondor.

Divine Blade is a term given to those blades that Master Shura, the only demi-god blacksmith, created before he ascended to godhood.

As Vorondor and Aldric were talking, in a faraway place outside of Warna in a dome-shaped space, a rift opened. The atmosphere of this place was gloomy, with a deathly aura emanating from a person sitting on a throne. Finally, a man emerged from the rift that opened earlier. "Master, I have returned," the man said to the person sitting on the throne. This man was dressed in the same type of cloth as Naiz. This person was Naiz. "So, how did it go?" questioned the man on the throne. "Well, as you had predicted, he was there with him, to be exact, in him," said Naiz. To this response, the person gave a satisfied smile and said, "Good work, Yazeer," said the person who was none other than the God of Darkness, also known as Malfor.

Back in Warna:

Aldric had long left the shop with his new armor and sword. The sword was now covered in a black sheath, and the armor he received was a long coat with a leather armor plate. The payment for them was crystals produced in dungeons called Starfire crystals that could only be found after floor 50 onwards. "When will we start?" asked Aldric to Vorondor. "Right now," replied Vorondor.

Aldric then arrived at floor 27. "Why are we here again?" said Aldric. "I remember telling you to refer to me as master, and you didn't forget how you did on this floor," said Vorondor. Aldric pouted.

Author: Don't pout. Are you acting like a girl or something?

"Let's go find that bastard," said Vorondor, telling Aldric to find the Astrous Wolf. After several minutes, Aldric found the wolf. "Now, what do you want me to do?" Aldric asked Vorondor.

"We will start with basic foot techniques and swordsmanship," replied Vorondor. "Ok," said Aldric.

"Just dodge and reflect his attack, maintain a distance of 3 meters from him, and do not use any abilities," ordered Vorondor.

"Yes, Master," nodded Aldric.

Aldric then approached the Wolf, and when the wolf noticed Aldric's presence, it became alert.

"Rgrrrr," growled the wolf. Aldric took out his sword and took a stance. "Wrong!" shouted Vorondor. "Put more strength in the lower part of your body and keep your arm from spreading out too much," said Vorondor, pointing out Aldric's mistakes. Aldric quickly corrected his stance, making it more refined. The Wolf started running toward Aldric. "Use minimal movements to dodge," said Vorondor as the Wolf closed in.

Slash!

The Wolf attacked Aldric with his fangs, but Aldric dodged just in time. The Wolf looked at Aldric, annoyed, but Aldric smirked, making the Wolf even more furious. This continued, making the Wolf's head turn red with anger.

"Now, for the foot technique, your left foot will be at the back with a slight twist. Your right foot will be in front, facing straight ahead. Most of your body's weight, about 70%, should be on the back leg. The front foot should be balanced, a foot for balance, so you can move quickly. You can pull it back in a slip, push off the back leg into a lunge, step sideways, or whatever you want. You could also drop the weight onto the front foot and pass forward. If both feet are equally weighted in the stance, some movements take a little longer to execute," explained Vorondor to Aldric.

Aldric continued to practice the new footwork on the Wolf. At this point, the Wolf felt as if it was being toyed with.

Burst!

The aura around the Wolf began increasing abnormally. "It is evolving quickly. Take him out quickly, use your abilities," said Vorondor. If Vorondor was right, the Wolf, at that moment, would become more powerful than before, making it hard for Aldric to defeat it.

Aldric quickly acted and used Void Step. Aldric managed to pass through the Wolf and used the sword to target the Wolf's head.

Slurp! Thud!

As the blood gushed out, the Wolf's head dropped to the ground. "Huh! What the hell was that?" said Aldric in shocked voice. He couldn't understand how he was able to cut through the neck of the Wolf, which was in the middle of evolving. Aldric tried to ask Vorondor, but Vorondor remained silent.

"Let's move on to another floor," said Vorondor in a commanding voice.
