When a Filipino got Isekai'd with a twist! "Only I can summon those!!"
Chapter 10: behind enemy line!
I slowly rise from my hiding spot, my heart pounding in my chest as I prepare to execute my plan. The darkness envelops me, and the ghillie suit works its magic, making me nearly invisible against the backdrop of the forest. I take a moment to steady my breathing, focusing on the task ahead. I equip my M1 pistol and add a silencer to it so if ever one or two demons spot me, it won't attract attention.
As I creep closer to the clearing, I can see the demons gathered around the fire, their attention diverted from the artifact. Berri-kangge stands guard, his eyes scanning the surroundings, but fatigue is evident in his posture. This is my opportunity.
I inch forward, keeping low to the ground, and carefully navigate the underbrush. The closer I get, the more I can hear their low murmurs, punctuated by the crackling of the fire. I can see the ornate box now, sitting precariously on a makeshift pedestal of rocks, its runes glowing softly in the darkness.
"Just a little closer," I whisper to myself, my pulse quickening with each movement. I reach into my pocket and pull out the trip bomb, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. If I can create a distraction, it will give me the perfect cover to grab the artifact. But all of a sudden I saw a big pot with something similar to a stew, and in that moment I had a mush great idea.
"Item shop," I whisper. As I scanned the shot list at the bottom of it, I finally saw what I was looking for. "Heheh... nois!" I murmured to myself and pressed buy. As the item is manifested in my hands, a villainous grin appears on my face. "Can a demon survive sleeping pills?" I whisper. As I activate the Ghillie suit skill: invisible man duration: 5 minutes.
With the small vial of sleeping pills now in my hand, I carefully make my way closer to the fire, my heart racing with anticipation. The demons are still engrossed in their conversation, their laughter echoing through the trees, oblivious to the danger lurking just beyond their sight. I can see Berri-kangge shifting slightly, his eyes momentarily distracted by the flickering flames.
I seize the moment, slipping silently through the shadows until I’m just a few feet away from the pot of stew. The rich aroma wafts through the air, mingling with the earthy scent of the forest. I can’t help but feel a twinge of guilt at what I’m about to do, but the artifact is too important to let slip away.
With a steady hand, I uncork the vial and pour a generous amount of the sleeping pills into the pot, stirring it gently with a nearby stick. The pills dissolve quickly, their effects likely to take hold within minutes. I step back, watching as the demons continue to laugh and joke, completely unaware of the impending chaos.
"Hehehe, let's see how you fight off the power of the sleeping pills." I menacingly chuckle.
As I retreat into the shadows, I can feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins. The anticipation of what’s to come is almost intoxicating. I take a moment to observe the demons, their faces illuminated by the flickering firelight, unaware of the trap I’ve just set. Berri-kangge, still standing guard, seems to be growing more restless, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.
Minutes pass, and I can see the first signs of drowsiness creeping into the group. One of the smaller demons, a scrawny creature with bright red skin, leans heavily against a tree, his eyelids drooping. Another, a hulking brute with jagged horns, lets out a loud yawn, stretching his arms above his head before slumping back down onto a log. The laughter fades, replaced by a heavy silence as the effects of the sleeping pills take hold.
“Now’s my chance,” I whisper, my heart racing as I inch closer to the artifact. The ornate box sits tantalizingly on its pedestal, the runes glowing softly, almost beckoning me. I can’t help but feel a sense of awe at its beauty, but I push the thought aside. I have a job to do.
I move swiftly, my Ghillie suit blending seamlessly with the surroundings. As I approach the pedestal, I can hear the soft snoring of the demons behind me, their bodies slumped in various positions around the fire. Berri-kangge, however, is still standing, albeit swaying slightly, his eyes struggling to stay open.
“Come on, just a little longer,” I mutter under my breath, willing him to succumb to the effects of the sleeping pills. I reach the pedestal and carefully examine the box. The runes pulse with a soft light, and I can feel a strange energy emanating from it. I know I have to be quick; if Berri-kangge doesn’t fall asleep soon, he’ll be my biggest obstacle. Then I grab the artifact inside and put it inside my item box.
I hear a low growl from behind me. My heart drops as I turn to see Berri-kangge, his eyes narrowed and focused on me, the drowsiness momentarily shaken off. "Oh fuck, I'm screwed." I whisper to myself.
“Who goes there?” he snarls, his voice a low rumble that sends chills down my spine. I freeze, my mind racing as I weigh my options. I can’t let him alert the others. "Oh, you, you standing there, he called me as I pointed to myself unconsciously.Yes, you, you dumb demon. I'm… assigning you to guard the box, because I will… have my nap, okay" he said, and as he's about to lay down, he suddenly stops. And that jolted me. And I slowly reached for my M1 pistol. When he speaks, "Do you hear me, dumb demon? Answer me!" He shouted. And I just replied, "Ye…yes, boss." As he calmly lay down, within seconds all I could hear was a snoring. As I pull out a small glass of water and the c4 I bought from my system shop. I put the c4 the box then the glass inside facedown." Hehehe now it's look like a special ornament "I said as the big demon move again. And turn his back on me still snoring.
"Damn, I thought that guy was going to tear me apart. Jeez, man. I better go now."
With Berri-kangge finally succumbing to the effects of the sleeping pills, I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding. The tension in my shoulders eases slightly, but I know I can’t linger. I quickly scan the area, ensuring that the other demons remain oblivious to my presence. The fire crackles softly, casting flickering shadows across the clearing, and the air is thick with the scent of the stew, now laced with the sleeping pills.
As I carefully step back, I hear a rustle behind me. My heart races again, and I turn slowly, ready to defend myself. But it’s just a small animal—a rabbit, perhaps—scurrying through the underbrush. I let out a sigh of relief, but I know I can’t let my guard down.

You had successfully completed part 1 of the quest! Retrieve the artifact x1. (Complete)
Second Quest: safely escape the area. Time limit: until sunrise. Condition: use a bike/running.
"The fuck are you talking about?! It will take me a day to reach the freaking elves kingdom if I use a bike. Genius!" I ask.
Caution! The demons are likely to wake up if they hear a loud noise like your motorcycle engine sound.
"Fuck, this is bad. Tsk so be it . Open summon list. Bicycle!" As the bicycle manifest Infront of me, I rode it and kick the pedal as fast as I can. Because when I looked at my phone's time. I only have 3 hours of darkness.
I pedal furiously, the soft crunch of leaves beneath the tires barely audible over the pounding of my heart. The cool night air rushes past me, and I can feel the adrenaline surging through my veins, propelling me forward. The forest is a blur of shadows and moonlight as I navigate the winding paths, my mind racing with thoughts of the demons I just left behind.

The artifact is secure in my item box, but I can’t shake the feeling of unease. Berri-kangge could wake up at any moment, and if he does, he’ll alert the others. I push myself harder, the bicycle responding to my urgency as I weave through the trees, careful to avoid any branches that might snag me.
As I ride, I can’t help but glance over my shoulder, half-expecting to see the hulking figure of Berri-kangge charging after me. But the forest remains silent, save for the sounds of nocturnal creatures stirring in the underbrush. I take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts. I need to focus on the path ahead.
Suddenly, I hear a rustling noise to my right. My heart skips a beat, and I instinctively slow down, straining to listen. The sound grows louder, and I can see movement in the shadows. Panic surges through me as I realize it’s not just one creature—it’s a group of demons, likely awakened by the commotion of my escape.
“Shit, shit, shit!” I mutter under my breath, my mind racing. I can’t let them catch me. I need to find a way to lose them. I glance around, searching for a place to hide or a path that might lead me away from their pursuit.
Ahead, I spot a narrow trail that veers off to the left, partially obscured by thick underbrush. It looks risky, but it might be my best chance. I steer the bicycle toward the trail, hoping it will lead me deeper into the forest and away from the demons.
As I enter the thicket, the branches scrape against my arms, but I push through, determined to escape. The trail is uneven, and I have to navigate carefully to avoid crashing. I can hear the demons’ voices growing louder behind me, their laughter now tinged with anger and confusion.
“Split up! Find the intruder; he’s unable to take the box, but we need to find and kill him.!” one of them shouts, and my stomach drops. They’re organizing, and I know I don’t have much time.
"Heh, that's what you thought," I said and continued to pedal as fast as I could, thinking that they hadn't opened the box just like I expected. If they do, the C4 will explode on them. As I said, my bicycle hit a branch, and then I was thrown to the ground.
I hit the ground hard, the impact jarring my bones and knocking the wind out of me. For a moment, I lay there, dazed, the world spinning around me. The sounds of the demons grew closer, their voices echoing through the trees, and I knew I had to move—fast.
With a grunt, I pushed myself up, wincing at the pain radiating through my body. As I reached for my bicycle, I saw its wheel was busted. So I put it in my item box, and I started running.
The forest floor was uneven beneath my feet, roots and rocks threatening to trip me as I sprinted deeper into the thicket. My heart raced, pounding in my chest like a war drum, urging me to escape. I could hear the demons behind me, their voices growing more frantic as they split up to search for me.
“Check the bushes! He couldn’t have gone far!” One of them shouted, and I felt a surge of panic. I had to find a way to evade them, to disappear into the shadows of the forest.
So I activate the Ghillie suit skill again: "Invisible man!" Again. And run through the underbrush, my heart pounding in my ears. The world around me fades into a blur of greens and browns as the ghillie suit cloaks me in its protective embrace. I can feel the magic of the suit working, blending me seamlessly with the forest, but I know it won’t last long. I have to make the most of this opportunity.
I slow my pace, moving cautiously as I navigate through the dense foliage. The sounds of the demons grow louder, their voices echoing through the trees as they search for me. I can hear their frustration mounting, and it gives me a sense of grim satisfaction. They think they’re hunting me, but I’m the predator now.
“Where did he go? He couldn’t have just vanished!” One of the demons growls, his voice laced with irritation. I stifle a laugh, knowing that I’m right under their noses, hidden in plain sight. "Damn it, I can't even smell him. All of his traces vanished.
Thanks to the Ghillie suit. It can erase any odor/smell of your body even if you're present, etc., like you're not there to begin with. But I need to move fast because the suit skill has a time limit of 5 minutes and I only have 3 minutes left and the next use is for 10 minutes again.
I take a deep breath, focusing on the sounds around me. The demons are growing increasingly agitated, their voices rising in pitch as they search for me. I can hear them crashing through the underbrush, their heavy footsteps echoing in the stillness of the night. I need to find a way to outsmart them, to slip away unnoticed.
With the Ghillie suit still cloaking me, I decide to move deeper into the forest, away from the clearing where the demons are searching. I carefully navigate through the dense foliage, my senses heightened as I listen for any signs of danger. The moonlight filters through the trees, casting eerie shadows on the ground, but I remain focused on my escape.
Suddenly, I spot a large tree with a hollow trunk nearby. It looks like the perfect hiding spot. I make my way toward it, keeping low to the ground and moving as quietly as possible. As I reach the tree, I slip inside the hollow trunk, pressing myself against the cool, damp wood. The darkness envelops me, and I hold my breath, listening intently for any signs of the demons.
“Where is he? He has to be around here somewhere!” One of the demons growls, frustration evident in his voice. I can hear them moving closer, their footsteps crunching on the leaves and twigs. My heart races as I realize they’re just a few feet away from my hiding spot.
“Check that tree! He might be hiding in there!” Another demon shouts, and I feel a surge of panic. I can’t let them find me. I need to stay still and silent, hoping that the ghillie suit will continue to work its magic.
The demons approach the tree, their voices growing louder. I can see the shadows of their figures moving outside the hollow trunk, and I hold my breath, praying they won’t look inside. I can feel the tension in the air, thick and suffocating, as they search for me.
“Maybe he went further into the woods. Let’s split up and cover more ground,” one of them suggests, and I feel a glimmer of hope. If they separate, it might give me the chance I need to escape. And I hear a loud whistle, and all of the demons looked at each other and murmured,Tsk, the boss is calling us out. Let's go. Let's head back. ."
As the demons begin to disperse, I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding. The tension in my shoulders eases slightly, but I know I can’t linger in the hollow trunk for too long. I wait a few moments, listening intently to their fading voices, until the sounds of their footsteps disappear into the distance.
Once I’m sure they’re gone, I carefully inch my way out of the hollow trunk, scanning the area for any signs of danger. The forest is eerily quiet now, the only sounds being the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of nocturnal creatures. I take a moment to gather my thoughts, my heart still racing from the close call.
“Okay, time to get out of here,” I whisper to myself, my voice barely audible in the stillness. I activate the ghillie suit skill again, knowing I’ll need every advantage I can get as I make my escape. The familiar sensation of blending into the surroundings washes over me, and I feel a renewed sense of confidence.
I decide to head in the opposite direction from where the demons had been searching, moving cautiously through the underbrush. The moonlight filters through the trees, casting a soft glow on the forest floor, and I keep my movements slow and deliberate, avoiding any branches or twigs that might give away my position.
As I navigate through the trees, I can’t shake the feeling of being watched. The forest is alive with sounds, but I remain hyper-aware of my surroundings, ready to react at a moment’s notice. I push forward, determined to put as much distance between myself and the demons as possible.
After what feels like an eternity of moving through the dense foliage, I finally reach a small clearing. The moonlight bathes the area in a silvery glow, and I take a moment to catch my breath. I scan the surroundings, looking for any signs of danger, but it seems the coast is clear.
"Open item shop" as I Scan to my item shop I grab a bottle of water and a few sandwich.
I take a moment to hydrate and refuel, the cool water refreshing against my dry throat. The sandwiches, though simple, provide a much-needed boost of energy. I can’t afford to let my guard down, but I also know that I need to keep my strength up if I’m going to make it out of this forest alive.
As I munch on the sandwich, I keep my ears tuned to the sounds of the forest. The rustling of leaves, the distant hoot of an owl, and the occasional snap of a twig underfoot remind me that I’m not alone. I finish my meal quickly, knowing that I can’t linger here for long.
“Okay, time to move,” I whisper to myself, wiping my hands on my pants and standing up. I take a deep breath, feeling the cool night air fill my lungs, and I activate the Ghillie suit skill once more. The familiar sensation of invisibility washes over me, and I feel a surge of confidence. I open my phone for the safest and fastest route to the Ingrasia Kingdom (Elves Kingdom).
As I glance at my phone, I see that I have a few options for routes to the Ingrasia Kingdom. I choose the safest and fastest route, which appears to be a narrow path that winds through the forest. I memorize the route, making sure to note any potential landmarks or danger zones.
With my plan in place, I set off once again, moving cautiously through the underbrush. The Ghillie suit continues to work its magic, blending me seamlessly into the surroundings. I keep my senses heightened, listening for any signs of danger and scanning the area for any potential threats.
"Man, this is what I call an extra challenge."
As I move through the forest, I notice that the trees are becoming thinner and the underbrush less dense. I can see a glimmer of light in the distance, and I realize that I'm approaching the edge of the forest. My heart quickens with excitement and relief as I realize that I'm almost safe.
I push forward, my legs aching from the exertion of the past few hours. I can see the outline of a building in the distance, and I realize that it's the Ingrasia Kingdom. I feel a surge of relief wash over me as I realize that I've made it.
