Jason Williams stepped out of the RV, taking a deep breath.
He was beginning to realize that Favor Points weren't just for exchanging for Attribute Orbs. They could also be used to discern a woman's true feelings.
The human heart was the hardest thing to control, especially in the Escape World, where you could easily get stabbed in the back. Sarah Jones was a prime example. That woman only cared about profit. In the previous life, Jason Williams had been completely screwed over by her. In the future, he could use Favor Points to determine which women were trustworthy, preventing a repeat of the Sarah Jones situation.
David Lee must have discovered this in his past life, which explained why he tortured and humiliated women who didn't have Favor Points towards him. Of course, David Lee's ugliness might also have played a role. But even with his looks, he'd used Favor Points to raise his strength to an A-Rank. Therefore, David Lee must have had women who genuinely cared for him.
Jason Williams guessed that the Beautiful sisters must have contributed the most Favor Points. Those two were David Lee's right and left hands, second only to him in strength. He wondered if they would even appear at David Lee's side this time since he had intercepted the RV.
And if David Lee had the Beautiful sisters as his right and left hands, shouldn't he cultivate his own? Chloe and Lily Young were good choices. In the Escape World, it's hard to survive alone; everyone forms teams to survive. If each vehicle could be considered a team, the owner would be the captain, and the followers would be the members.
The vehicle owners would recruit followers to build teams, then fight the monsters guarding the treasure chests together, searching for resources and surviving in the Escape World. Don't think that just because Jason Williams dared to take on a Bronze Chest alone now that he always will. The monsters guarding the Bronze Chests would only get more numerous and stronger. How strong would he have to become to defeat those monsters? Even if he did, how would he face the Silver and Gold Chests later? So, building a team was crucial.
Jason Williams opened the system, used Favor Points to exchange for four Attribute Orbs, crushed them directly, and continued to strengthen his speed attribute. His attribute panel changed again.
Name: Jason Williams
Strength: E-Rank
Speed: E+ Rank
Constitution: E-Rank
Spirit: E-Rank
Skills: None
Escape Coins: 5
Overall Evaluation: E+ Rank
With his speed boosted to E+ Rank, Jason Williams felt more confident in defeating the Goblin. So, he shouldered the Wooden Spear and went to the roadside.
The Goblin saw Jason Williams appear, waving the bone dagger in its hand and screeching, a mocking expression on its face. It was as if it was saying, "Stupid human male, you don't know the might of the Goblin, do you? Daring to come here to die alone!"
Jason Williams sneered. His speed attribute was now definitely higher than the Goblin's. He raised the Wooden Spear and charged toward the Goblin.
In the RV, Chloe watched Jason Williams charge towards the Goblin nervously, grinding her teeth in anger. She had clearly told him how terrifying Goblins were, so why charge directly at it?
Before she could think further, Chloe witnessed a shocking scene. Jason Williams's spear moved like a dragon, stabbing out quickly. The Goblin couldn't react in time and was instantly blinded in one eye. Chloe stared in astonishment, an incredulous look on her face. "What?!"
"Waaah!" The Goblin wailed in pain, dark red blood flowing from its eye socket, making it look terrifying. Jason Williams, holding the Wooden Spear, felt no joy, only regret. If the Wooden Spear had been sharper, this sudden stab could have pierced the Goblin's head.

The Goblin, blinded in one eye, screeched in rage, a murderous aura rising within it. It would kill Jason Williams to avenge its eye. Thus, the Goblin, wielding its bone dagger, charged quickly toward Jason Williams.
Jason Williams was prepared, retreating to create distance while continuously jabbing with the Wooden Spear. The Goblin was only about three feet tall with short arms and legs; how could it attack Jason Williams? The only thing limiting Jason Williams's strength was that the Wooden Spear wasn't sharp enough to cause fatal damage to the Goblin.
In just a few moments, the Goblin was covered in injuries. It couldn't gain any advantage over Jason Williams; his movements were too agile. Jason Williams's E+ Rank speed left it helpless.
The Goblin shrieked twice, then decisively turned to flee. It seemed to know it couldn't win against Jason Williams, not even with the hatred of having its eye stabbed out. Jason Williams didn't chase. He knew the Goblin had a trick up its sleeve: suddenly throwing its dagger as it fled, a move that most people couldn't dodge.
Jason Williams didn't dare force the kill. So, he cautiously stood his ground, silently watching the Goblin escape.
As for Chloe in the RV, she covered her mouth in shock. Jason Williams had actually driven away a Goblin that a dozen people couldn't handle; that was too amazing. Was this guy a martial artist? Chloe finally realized Jason Williams's strength.
Thinking about it now, Jason Williams was indeed outstanding. He had a high-level RV, the strength to defeat Goblins and Gray Wolves alone, and was handsome. Any woman would be moved. Even she, a lesbian who had no interest in men, felt a slight fondness for Jason Williams. Chloe had always felt a sense of disgust for men, which led her to become interested in women. She was, in fact, a lesbian. She was even on a date with her girlfriend before she descended into the Escape World.
Out in the Wasteland, Jason Williams curiously opened the Bronze Chest to see what was inside. The chest wasn't filled with supplies as he imagined; instead, there was a single book. A book? Could it be a skill book?! Jason Williams's expression showed surprise as he quickly picked up the only book in the chest.
[Skill Book]
Mind Blast: Unleashes a mental attack on a target, potentially causing the target to become stunned.
Note: The stun effect is determined by the relative mental strength of both parties.
Jason Williams took a deep breath after reading the skill book's effect. This thing was incredibly precious. As expected, rare items could be found on the first day in the Escape World.
As far as Jason Williams knew, skill books were usually found in Gold Chests. He didn't expect to find one in a Bronze Chest. Furthermore, Mind Blast was clearly an excellent skill, a mental skill that inflicted stun on enemies. The stronger the user's spirit attribute, the more obvious the effect.
Jason Williams held the skill book, ready to learn it when an idea flashed in his mind. Should he give this skill to Chloe? He had just had the idea of nurturing Chloe and Lily Young. These two women were, after all, powerless. Even if they were given Attribute Orbs to strengthen them, it would be difficult for them to unleash the full potential of their high attributes.
But if they learned Mind Blast, combined with Attribute Orbs to strengthen their spirit, Chloe's combat power would increase greatly in a short period of time. In future battles, Jason Williams could kill monsters in front while Chloe used Mind Blast to provide support from the rear. That was much better than fighting alone. Moreover, as a reborn person, Jason Williams was well aware of the importance of team strength.
In the future, if two teams fought over a treasure chest, a competition mechanism would be triggered, and the winning team would get the treasure chest. The so-called competition mechanism might be a team battle, or it might involve sending followers to fight three one-on-one battles, with the team that won two battles getting the treasure chest. So, Jason Williams had to cultivate the women's strength.
The only concern was Chloe's loyalty. So, Jason Williams decided to test Chloe with this skill book first, using Favor Points to discern Chloe's loyalty. If Chloe received the skill book and didn't increase his Favor Points, then Jason Williams would personally eliminate Chloe, not allowing her to become a second Sarah Jones. If Chloe's Favor Points rose above 5, then Jason Williams could get at least ten Favor Points from Chloe every day, which would greatly improve his combat power. The early effects would be no worse than this skill book.
Of course, a skill book was definitely more valuable than Attribute Orbs, but without C-Rank or higher attributes, the skill's power couldn't be unleashed. Jason Williams knew very well that his advantage was to improve into a powerful attributes, by collecting Favor Points from loyal women, rather than relying on a skill book to become a powerhouse.
