Woken up by the sound of odd warbling echoes and crashes, William brought himself back up with a pained back. "What the F@#£ is going on around here at this time of day?" He slowly moved up as he puts on his clothing a pair of sandals that could be closely related to boots.
He opened his entrance door slowly, trying not to awake his two sleeping guardian neighbours who were dozing off on his armchair. Upon stepping out, he was greeted with a dimly brightened light row, called a corridor. He squints his eyes as he shakes his head back to normal. He closes the door and shuffled his way to the point of interest where the sound was sounding.
The echo slowly turned more metallic as he neared. A sound of clangs and bangs. Why was this odd sound happening at this time, he thought confusedly?
The sound leads him to the break room, mostly used for obvious reasons, a break. Who would be there at this time and why would the person be so loud, he thought as he peeked himself as he tilted his head slowly into the glass mirrors that doored the entrance.
A figure was there crouching, digging through what seems to be a cupboard of a lever shelf. Random metal utensils and tools were scattered on the floor, played here and there. The figure was rustling loudly in search of something as she continued spilling out more metallic things. Was the figure deaf, William thought to himself. Does the figure have no courtesy that people are trying to sleep?
Whatever wandered in William's mind, he continued to watch the figure on what she was doing. Upon success in the figure's search, it slowly brought itself up with the help of a stick, similar to a crutch as she places the tool on a kitchen tabletop.
The figure was a female, rather medium in height and had long black hairs tied to a ponytail. Her face was rather familiar, William thought after a few seconds. Not trying to frighten the figure, he watched until it was the perfect time to enter if he pleases.
The figure went back down and steadily put back the metal tools into a box, where it was originally placed. To and fro, she continued picking the tools and placing them back. After doing so, she started mouthing to herself as if speaking to someone. Scouting the room with his little vision, it was concluded there was no one else there. William now knew who it was and sighed in relief. "Ri-kae... it's Miss Ri-kae for sure." He whispered to himself. Still curious, he kept an eye watch with a less creepy feeling.
The figure, presumably Ri-kae was busily trying to build something for an invention she might have come with. Using special tools Ri-kae held, she entered her own world as she efficiently but quickly did some tinkering with her works with the random utensil she had brought out. It acted as an Earther to not cause an electronic shock, William guessed. Who knows what goes into the silly girl's head, she isn't normal after all.

After some time of doing her tinkering, William started to feel pressured in exchange. As if someone was watching him in return, a dark aura filled his view as he sniffed the air, only for an odd animal-like odour to musk through his eyes and nose.
Getting back to his senses, he realised his current position and whispered softly to the watcher. "You might be her guardian aren't you...?" He asked kindly as he could.
A creeping sound of clicks could be heard on the floor as he felt the wind breeze through his right cheek, he felt something lowering near his ear as a voice was spoken. "Yes..." It whispered a rather feminine tone. "And who might you be, human...? What's your reason with her." The tone of the guardian started to get a little more strict and serious.
William both confused and rather guilty for a quote on quote stalking the girl made him shiver down his spine. He gulped his saliva as he slowly opened his mouth. "The name's William, a campmate with Miss Ri-kae over there, a truthful excuse to get him out in trouble.
The figure made a soft sniffle with its nose, as it sighed. The figure held William's shoulder and slowly pulls him to her direction. "Am I in trouble or something...?" He asked with a more confident tone, only to be rather taken by surprise.
The figure stood taller than him, perhaps even older. The woman was blackened in scars and wounds, her clothes crept in an old skimpy adventure like dress similar to sports clothing. Her eyes ever sharpened by the looks of death as it glowed a tinged of red. Her hands, no. Her claws were huge and sharpened as she had wings in return. Her legs also clawed with yellowed feet similar to chickens. She made a smirk as her black eyeliner made her look like she was an aggressive person. "No, you aren't in trouble..." She answered. "I thought you were going to trouble into her but you seem to be pretty fit to not do it. Also, you said you were her partner in one way, so I might as well leave ye' be." The figure spoke normally.
"Ri-kae, it's all good, it is your friend." She said in a gleaming tone as she pokes her head into the break room.
Ri-kae still in her own world, slowly talked to herself as she was doing her tinkering about.
"Shes really an odd one, huh?" William asked the figure.
"Yeah, that's true. Half the time, I have to literally enter her brains and dreams just to be able to communicate with her. She always seems to be by herself so I try to keep her company." The figure said as it gave a haughty smile.
"Well, she isn't like any normal humans if normal humans are even considered "normal". She has a disability which rendered her into some state of mind leaving her barely communicative and stuck to her head. She might act like she's fine but, deep inside she's probably suffering and yearning she was born a healthy life." William explained. "Now who might you be?" In a tone of requesting an answer.
The figure scratched her head with her claw as she gave a small chuckle. "Yea... Oh me?! My bad, I'm not really good at remembering things." The figure explained. "What did you say?" She gave a small smile.
William makes an annoyed look as he shakes his head. "Your name, what is your name?" He asked a more simple question to forgive her terrible memory.
"Oh, my name? Herva, Herva Melark..." She answers. "I am the guardian of miss Heung....son over there." She gave a smile which showcased her sharp teeth collection.
William surprised by her mouth, gave a short shake of his head. "Nice to meet you Miss Melark, glad to finally meet you." His lips twitched in a moment of regretting his decision of even getting himself out of his bed, to entertain a birdbrain of a guardian.
