The group went further into the forest to find wolf packs because boars and living trunks felt too easy since they have major weaknesses. The boar’s only attack is a charge which takes them time to build up speed and momentum meaning they must be at a certain distance to really do damage plus their charge attack only goes straight.

The boar’s are easy to dodge with a lot of openings but they are still better than the living stumps with are slow at moving and attacking making them even easier targets. The only reason why living stumps are lv 15 monster is that they have the ‘root’ skill which binds a person for 10 secs and because they are made from wood they have pretty good defence for their level.

Since we are in a party plus can kill these monsters by ourselves we all decided to find the strongest monsters in this training area which were the monsters we have already faced once, the Brown Fur Wolf.

*In the early chapter where Silvi and the gang first encountered the wolves I wrote gray wolves and then turned it into Brown I am sorry for the mix up*

The weapon I am using is the fan weapon I transformed my blade into and when testing it out on boars and living trunks I found out that other than changing its form and having hidden mechanisms, it was pretty much the same as before. However, I did not give up hope because the more I used the fan the more the experience on the skill rose. I really wanted to have the other 2 skills unlocked to try them out.

When the other girls saw that I was planning to use my fan as a weapon they quickly asked if I really wanted to use it because what they just saw was an ordinary fan. I told them that this fan was much more than meets the eyes and then quickly closed the fan and revealed the hidden blades and enlarged them into a normal tanto blade. The transformation from a normal fan into basically a short sword surprised them because what they saw now was the fan had basically tuned into the hilt (grip) of a sword.

*Though it is late I hope everyone knows what kind of fan I am talking about*

The girls congratulated me on getting a pretty cool skill and said they were sorry about thinking that it was a junk skill that is not very useful. I just told them that it was fine since I had first thought it was a junk skill and laughed it off then continued searching for the wolves with my new skill track.

The skill ‘Track’ is only beginner so I can only track down easy and dumb pray which might not work on the wolves but using it will get me experience so I am not losing out on anything. While we were trying to find the wolves we conversed about what new skills we got after advancement, but only the skills that are interesting.

My plan was to get more information on each class before using the ‘Copy’ skill since it can only copy 1 skill. I did try to copy one of the clan skills the girls got but it failed and only got a notification that the skill was special and cannot be copied.

“The only amazing skill I got was ‘Assassinate and Track’” I tell them and then explained what the skills did

“Well those are the only cool skills ninja’s get just after getting their class. I find ‘Iron body, Combo, and Heavy Cut’ good. ‘Iron body’ increases my defense, Combo increases my damage every time I deal multiple hits so every hit will be stronger than the last and will keep increasing until broken,  finally Heavy Cut is an attack skill that uses stamina and some Mp to do high damage.” Lute says

“I have pretty much the boring basically the same Mage skills in almost every game such as the ‘four elemental attacks (fire, wind, water, and earth),  Mana Guard, and meditate’. The 4 elemental spells are pretty much a no brainer where I can use any of the four elements to attack or defend like fire ball or wind wall. Mana Guard makes armour of Mana around my body that absorbs 50% of the damage deducting it from my Mp. Meditate just speeds up mana recovery but I won’t be able to move.” Mari says sighing

“The Miko’s beginner spells are very basic as well. I have ‘Full Barrier, Healing Charm plus other support Charms, and Basic Shikigami’. Full Barrier creates and circular barrier around us, the support charms increase certain attributes or heal others, and Basic Shikigami only allows me to summon small animal spirits.” Aki says also sighing after listening to Mari

“ I have ‘Multi shot, fire arrow, ice arrow, and arrow pierce’. Each one is what the name sounds like so no need to really explain it right? By the way I noticed that Mari said something about a game?” Sakura says

Mari, Lute and I were lost in words because of the surprising question coming from Sakura and remembered that 2 of the 5 of us were people born in this game so they have no idea what Mari said. I was sweating a little bit because I did not have anything to answer her with because I can really tell her that she was not alive and that she was just a program code.

I look towards Mari and Lute noticing that both of them were lost and looking at me for an answer which made me even more nervous. There was silence form almost a minute until we were saved by Aki.

“Ah! Sakura don’t you remember the prediction saying that the ones who are sent here are called explorers who can revive with the power of god to help us in fighting monsters. They must be told that it was a game to see who would be more helpful and are competing with each other” Aki says

“That’s right! I have forgotten since I was having so much fun. We were sent here to have fun explorer this world while helping the people here expand their knowledge about their world.” I quickly added supporting Aki and even glancing at Mari and Lute for support

Both Girls watched and nodded while smiling saying “I forgot too” and smiling.

Sakura looked at us and nodded accepting our answer.

This experience made me realized that this world was too real; Sakura and Aki were so real that I forgot that they have no idea about our world which made me sad because she was a very good friend. In fact Sakura really is considered my best friend and it is sad that I can only see her in game.

While we finished explaining to Sakura my eyes using ‘Track’ finally caught a clue on a pack of animals moving in a certain direction. I signaled the girls to follow me towards the tracks.

We gathered at the footprints and by using ‘Track’ I found out that the footprints were fairly fresh and since there were quite a lot of them heading in the same direction. My skill did not allow me to find what made the tracks but I can guess that they were wolves because it was quite a large pack.

Sakura who’s class is Fox Guardian can learn any skill she wants from the general classes (*more info on like chapter 10*). So she also has the ‘Track’ skill from an Archer thus she agrees with me when I said that they look fairly fresh.

We tracked the footprints by following them slowly because the pack was very large. As we followed the prints they got fresher meaning that we were catching up to them but I also realized that the pack was heading to the direction of where most people are training at from lv 10-20.

As we got closer to where the pack is we heard distant shouts and howls. These sound made everyone want to run towards the place.

When we finally reached the plains area where most people train because of easy visibility we saw a skirmish between the trainees and a huge pack of wolves numbering in almost 60 normal ones, 10 alphas, and one Gray Furred Wolf who seems to be the one leading the army.

The parties in the plains seemed to be holding their own only because of the seniors who were monitoring the training but even with their help the numbers of the wolves were still pushing them back slowly.

The wolves were much organised because they now have a commander. I was too far away from the commanding wolf to get any information on it.

“Should we also join the fight?” Lute asks frightened by the number of wolves

“We should help out since we trainees from the same clan should stick together” Aki says standing up

“She’s right! If it was only us 5 fighting them we would just run but look there are others there fighting giving us a chance to win.” I say standing up

“Alright let’s go help out then” Sakura agrees

We all got up and ran towards the battlefield and when we got close enough we saw what we were fighting against.
